Man that knock warning on Maddison made me put him on the bench, frick!

and i left him in my first eleven - in the 17th minute i was then awarded Cool
Never trust those flags in the game, they are often missleading and sometimes plain wrong. There was press conference on Friday and it was known Maddison will be available for the game.

I knew all that and still left him on the bench thinking he will probably get just 30 min. I also bought Alvarez just for next two games so had to give him opportunity to play. While we are on Spurs topic I don't remember any forward ever having as bad game as Richarlison today.

I was thinking that Gabriel would play today. However I have understood as of today that Arteta doesn't have any intention to give place to Gabriel in the starting eleven this season. Stones/Gabriel duo are causing me to lose points every week. I have got rid of Gabriel for now. I'm thinking of transferring another defensive player in Stones' place as well next week. I have made a loss of 0.3 million just because of these two players. Horrible!!

On days like this, my good friend and brother Igebotz would ask me to get a Chelsea player on my team but yark, am not buying it. Chelsea was impressive today none the less but, against a team like Luton Town, Luton town!

If you want to be a champion, you must score points against the league's smaller clubs. I don't care who we play; I'm just glad we're regaining confidence after such a dismal stretch. Take it one step at a time.

I must say I did not think you would do it igebotz. Captaining Watkins this week is a big risk and your differential theory isn't that useful this early. At this moment it is just about not falling behind too much. Difference between doing it last GW and this is that City had bad fixture then and it was much less of the risk.

You might be surprised to hear this, but I'm not aiming for the top of the log just yet; I'm just having fun with my pick while staying near to the gap. And my captaincy decision was completely based on my ST option's recent form, not on hitting the right differential. Halaand and City have the easiest draw this weekend, but Halaand has been horrible without KDB in the midfield, he's been isolated, and he's not getting enough service up front as usual, so I'm concerned about him blanking again.

Watkins, I believe, will take advantage of Luiz, Diaby and Leon Bailey's current fearsome form to gain more attacking returns.

This is not how football works; the players are playing together for the third time this season; the chemistry isn't there yet, but the squad is solidifying. Jackson had another excellent game, but he's not getting the help he needs up front, and Sterling got a Brace tonight, but he's still one of our issues; his decision making and end product are both below average, but he'll improve this season. The hunter is there to win.
"Third time playing together " and no team chemistry...we have a problem here and worse off against a newly promoted side that still have their milk teeth and can hardly bite & Chelsea will want to play the chemistry card Huh NO SIR wont buy that excuse!!! But of course we can forgive Jackson & a few of his fellows  as they are still getting oriented around the league and the raw talent which still needs sharpening..

All in all 7.5/10 performance seeing how several players were off, the likes of Chiwell etc and hoping has the league goes on they will pickup .

On mobile so not quoting properly sorry guys.

No matter if none of your defenders play game will always count at least 3 of them in your score.

I wanted to buy Jackson or Sterling and Foden or Alvarez, so far my choice has been poor. Gusto on bench does not help my rank as well but will at least get me about 0.5M in the bank when all newbs rush to buy him now Grin

Even though Chelsea won by a clean score like 3-0 I didn't like their game at all. You need to show a more dominant game against the weakest team of the league like Luton. I'm happy for adding Sterling to my squad. He showed an amazing performance with 2 goals and 1 assist. Jackson finally found the goal he was searching for. However I was expecting more than 1 goal from him in this match. Smiley

It was the most expected game from the Chelsea and expected from the top team by the Football community. They swipe the floor with the clear win the 3-0 a top scoring win. When we come to the game of sports all the team are same,Chelsea only had some experience compared to the Luton. If the Luton had won the Chelsea, the victory will be treated as the festival to the people of Luton. So both the team had a chance to win the game, the biggest mistake by the Luton is they never scored their first goal till the end of the game.

Gusto have surely got something, always trying to get the ball forward and his assist to R. Sterling did cut just right and the Luton Town defense was awful to have let R. Sterling own there penalty spot the way he did.

Seems it’s going to be a good week for you after all brother, I want to see you winning the game week, don’t fvck this up.
Oh, oh you did! Trofo check that out, Watkins have got his band after all. Let’s see what he does with it.

Hmmm... I wonder if I somehow buy 4 injured defenders, will I be able to get a team consisting entirely of midfielders and forwards?  Grin It would be an interesting abuse of the system. I would like to know if anyone has tried this.

NO, you will still have to field your 4 or 3 injured defenders in your line up to form a team. There is no way to bypass the system.

Am here watching Chelsea play and wondering how all FPL managers on the internet have been tipping Jackson to be the must have striker for this game week..and funny enough the lad can't even get a shot at/on goal  Tongue if not Raheem Starling who looks explosive today,  the attack force Chelsea has is a joke!!! My game plan now is, If these guys wont get 3 goals againts Luton am not going to be having any of these guys in my team because its going to be a mountain to climb with stronger teams to come!

Nice, congrats on the points earned today. I thought about adding Sterling but it just slipped my mind because I was also too focused on getting rid of Burn given that he and Trippier have earned me little to no points in the first two game weeks (they both start but no cleansheet).

I will reassess my team after the international break. A lot of things going wrong for me haha

didn't actually tried it, but should not be possible
you have to have 3 defenders in the team, for formation to be possible, and below 3, you will just have zero points for defenders that are not playing their role
so, four injured defenders, you will have 5th playing, and 2 injured in the team, 2 benched, and formation will depend on 3rd player on the bench (MD or FW - 3/5/2, or 3/4/3)

Is this accurate information or your guess (I'm a beginner and it's quite difficult for me to understand the nuances of the rules so far for certain reasons)? I'm just wondering, I understand the logic that defenders should be on the field, but on the other hand, if my team consists of 8 players due to injuries, then this is also wrong and illogical.

If it was like you said then a manager who doesn't want to play a defensive player would have tried to gain an advantage for themselves by choosing defenders who aren't possible to play in. It clearly says on the website as a rule that there must be 3 defensive players minimum.

Yeah man i know that, im argentinian  Grin i change him for two things, one sentimental, to still have one Argentinian on team, and the second because Liverpool face a very strong rival and Manchester a weak one in his home, Garnacho can explode if he make the right things.

I doubt between him and Sterling, b ut i dont have the money to purchase Sterling so, i choose him, you see Sterling scores two goals.... fuck.

First tip I already noticed:
In the FPL, feelings or sympathies to certain clubs/players have absolutely no place - at least not if you want to be successful. You just have to think rationally...

For me it's also my first FPL season and when I think about how the first draft of my team looked like, I'm glad I realized that. Smiley

I made a move finally and after so much talk, i change McAllister for Garnacho, still an Argentinian right?

Yes, he is Argentinian.

Let me know the reason why you traded especially him for McAllister.
After the first 2 GWs he did not play 90 Minutes per Game. Not the safest pick in my eyes.

Only 2.2% Teams picked him for FPL:

So Shaw is out. I sold him, but the game tells me that a new player will be available in game week number 4. At the same time, a new player is shown in my lineup already in game week number 3. Just in case, I put him on the bench, but I want to clarify - if I had not put him on the bench, then I would have received zero points for him for playing week 3 anyway?

I'm guessing you transferred him out after GW3 deadline so it will take effect GW4. You still have injured Shaw in your team and the new player you transferred in has no business in your team this week. Hope you understand the whole procedures now.

Gradually I begin to understand. In fact, I just remembered today that I have a fantasy team and decided to ask how things are going there  Grin

if some player is in your team, and he is not playing, you team will see first player from your bench, with a notch that formation should be kept as possible (so no two defenders or something)
it is a better solution than when a player is on the bench, and enters last few minutes, as Gabriel from Arsenal in first two rounds, than you are screwed with 0/1 point for him, unless he does some miracles in few minutes on the pitch

didn't have time to check FPL today, so Shaw is still in my team, it is what it is
