but, at least McAllister scored, and denied Leeds a win, double good
McAlister was too expensive for me, so I went with March instead. That March goal that wasn't given messed my target this weekend, so now I'm looking forward to the game on Wednesday and hoping Mitoma (C) and March can make up for the damage they caused me this weekend.

You guys believe you are having it bad ? I have had Everton triple defense for the last 3 games and they didn't make double digit points cumulatively for those 3 games, and here they are when playing against my captain for the Gameweek, tell me I'm not meant to win without telling me I'm not meant to win.

same feeling, I took free-hit, because I didn't want to replace my Evertonians, and they delivered (at least I backed them with bet and in the pool, so this was a kind a hedge for me)

and neighbors that I have put in were humiliated by Bournemouth, Salah missing a penalty on top, reaching for corner flag, instead of goal, put pressure in relegation fight as well

FPL gave Brighton's second goal to March before switching it to Harrison's own goal.

I've been watching slow-motion shots from the camera located behind the keeper, and it appears that March gets to the ball first and scores (this is also confirmed by Harrison's post-game interview). I won't mind if they change it back, it's really a March goal.

How come that goal wasn't given to March? Harrison even confirmed after the game that March had the last touch of the ball. "I don't know how VAR missed that, that goal could have helped my team so much, I think we got robbed on this one,"

VAR care more about controversial calls and micrometers offside calls than awarding a goal to the rightful goal scorer in as much as it counts as a goal for that team, damn all of us the bettors and FPL managers cries right ? I doubt with the number of hours passed now if they can still reincide their decision or perhaps tomorrow when things get calm and better, is there still any possibility of that ?
Not gonna happen now, once bonus points get added it is final. But this is not actually a mistake from FPL, they are using official Match Point data for goal scorer info and actually deciding only on assists.

It is what it is, now it is up to March to score a couple in next game and make this omission hurt a bit less. At least Toney didn't do any better.

Everton couldn't keep a clean sheet in their double, and when everyone got rid of their players (or benched), they got one, ending Brentford's unbeaten streak. Those who own Rico Henry better not watch the highlights, he blew a great chance to score in the second half, a free header from close range. Mbeumo denied him of assist points last GW not being able to finish from point black. Feels like this dude is cursed off getting fpl points or something..

Got mcneil off the team and he scored!!! I knew Toney's captaincy would not end well, so choosing Mitoma was not a bad idea after all; he had a great game and I hope he can score on Wednesday.

Plenty of matches left in this double game week, even though those who wildcarded in 26, we all pretty much have the same teams.  Grin
All the decisions that hurt me. Of course I have Henry and to make matters worse I just needed Brentford to not lose and I would cash out on a nice x5 multi ticket.

Of course it will not be a goal for March even though he scored it, it can't be because he is my captain in Fantasy. I watched the situation from multiple angles and I would give him that goal, he deserved it with great reaction and I don't see why they took it away from him. I would also always give an advantage to striker in situations when things aren't clear. Better than giving own goal to some poor defender.

It is what it is, I still think getting rid of Liverpool was good move, you can't target team that plays against United, Arsenal, City and blanks in next 5GW.

agree here
it happened, and it is actually second win like this for Liverpool this season, one would think they are challenging the title, but they are far (CL is a reality)

but I am mad on United, not Liverpool, this is second week this season they prove me wrong thinking they are more than shit team, first was 6:3 against City
one can simply not conceive 6,7 goals per match and fight for title

I'm absolutely devastated with Liverpool's win I had Darwin, Cody Gakpo and Mo Salah last game week, and I had to take a minus 8 points hit, to get rid of Gakpo and Nunez only for them to get emphatic and terrifying result and 2 goals apiece for each of them, absolutely blistering!!!

it's a total chaotic week for me in the pool, if only this had happened in their double gameweek  Sad
Many of us in same situation, I got rid of Salah, Nunez and Trent this week. Felt like a perfect week to pull wildcard and prepare for double and blank game weeks and then Liverpool does this. I already know there is a shitload of dead teams having my points x3 or x4 this week.

didn't had Liverpool players, except for Alisson, but this is as far from expected as anything can be
and it was evenly distributed between their top players, each two goals scored

my gameweek was real shit, but it is what it is, hard weekend overall

Is the Newcastle dream over? I did get really lucky keeping Almiron in one final game when he last scored, otherwise I'm not liking any of them right now.
Newcastle is still good but they lost their touch in attack, from fantasy perspective it is all about Trippier and maybe one more defender or Pope.
I'm 56 points + Salah, Darwin and 4 other players yet to play. my game plan is going well.

I find it really hard to compliment a winger in City but he's got to be the standing on the shoulders of the rest in the games I do see him play. But yeah he's not really been in contention for FPL because of Pep.

Trippier yeah, probably happiest pick for me all day at the back (minus flirting with TAA/Robbo).

A slump week for me, I suppose, thinking of what could have been. Even Robbo getting the assist not likely to top 50 for me, kinda regret not keeping Salah on but hey, Darwin having his worst game in a long time too... looks... tired? And still scores? Yes =)

I WANT TO SEE RASHFORD BLANK..... LIVERPOOL UP TO YOU.

You're welcome!

Both players began their senior England careers in 2020, making Saka one of the most crucial players in the team. The best player for England in the recently concluded world cup and Euro 2020 was Saka, who is a year younger than Foden. Saka is a starter for the current England team, but you can't say the same for Foden. Saka has more caps and more goals than Foden in the National team. Foden is a good player, but he's not as talented or as influential in a team as Saka. Avoid assuming that Foden is superior to Saka because of the Young POTY; in the EPL, the players with the best PR win awards. It was extremely clear that Saka was robbed last season.
That is not so clear, Saka has luck on his side as well, he is the only one that naturally plays on left flank for England. On right flank you have Rashford, Sancho, Sterling and Foden which makes it much tougher to cement the spot. I am not saying Saka is bad player, he is great but I feel that Foden is capable of even more if he gets guaranteed playing time both for club and country. But I wouldn't give him a spot in England squad while you have Rashford in this form.

THIS IS NOT CLEAR Cool With Arsenal and England, Saka plays on the right wing with players like Rashford and Sterling waiting on the line, while Foden plays on the left wing with Jack Grealish and occasionally Rashford. The manager sees what we don't, thus it's not a coincidence that Foden gets benched at both the national and club levels. saka started as a left back, now fix him anywhere on the field and you will see result. i like this guy.

I have never once rated Foden as England's best young player; a complete winger must have a good dribble ratio and not just run into space and score a sitter; a player like Foden will struggle in a team like Manchester United or Chelsea. He scored goals against some farmers in the FA CUP and against Newcastle, and he is projected as one of the best winger in the league when young Saka is doing it week in and week out. its funny but that's my unbiased oppinion

Nobody can work in team like Chelsea Smiley If they had Messi and Ronaldo in their prime they would find a way to make them look like Lukaku and Ziyech. It is always the team that launches players to their best form. Saka is great player but has a lot of luck that he is the most important player of the club that is playing great at the moment. Just compare him with Saka for England and you will see the difference I am talking about.

While we are on Arsenal subject, what a come back yesterday. Really hope Trossard injury is not serious because they can't replace Jesus, Nketiah and Trossard at the same time.
Although I didn't watch much of the game, I did notice that the goal came 2 minutes after the official extra time. Was this due to an injury or was it just another EPL thing?

Foden plays, finally, and scores, and I knew I felt an itch to put him in but decided to keep with Haaland (all the while while actually keeping Trippier on my bench).

I said it many times, Foden is the best winger in PL for me, only problem he has Pep for manager and I am not taking him for sure. And the bar is really high for best winger, we have Saka and Rashford in form of his life but Foden is the most complete player if only he could have a safe position like others. He is playing now just because Mahrez is getting rested for the Champions League.

Man I am so out of the pulse line I didn't even know the crap surrounding Toney is heating up... Anyway...

I'm taking a huge risk on these bums.

My position gives me the freedom of risk. I can only go up, can't imagine how I'd play if I were actually in a prize spot...

I'm definitely keeping Salah for the time being, there is no one, I would rather waste 4 points to get in for him, Bruno Fernandes is having a though fixture, for all we know De Bruyne might undergo another Guardiola experiment, so who else Son ? he's being nothing what his name suggest this season a "bouncing baby boy", and I'm not so positive on Phil Foden or Mahrez either so, it might take a while before I trust someone else from City except Ederson and Haaland, unless Man City gets eliminated in all competition, then a huge maybe.
