Saka. Sadness. Grief. Regret. I'm ok he missed a pen. Not okay he looked lost at sea. But it's Brighton, so it's ok, right? (Would never have imagined myself saying this). I'm also thinking to reintroduce Trent. I already have Robertson and he's pretty damned solid in play, just we've been conceding from centre and he's not getting the xG or xA he should be getting... so I don't know if switching for Trent is making it worse.

Anyway, I made 10 points for neglecting my team (shock) and I've just cleared out some bois for 12 penalty points, so I actually end the week worse than last. Why do I put myself through this?
I started the week great and then was very unlucky yesterday, getting just three points from Saka and Fernandez was really unexpected. Saka with missed penalty and Fernadez with couple of great shots but no returns.

GW 32 is a free hit for me so I already know I will take Saka, Martineli, Jesus, Salah, Trent + 1 more Liverpool and then I have no idea. Probably some Newcastle, CP and West Ham.

I won't be going out the way for my team tis game week I'll be having only 10 players with a fixture, and I'm okay with it even though most of the players would have been my first choice if I had a free hit or wc still to use.

I believe my team would be a very strange one for the remainder of the season after this blank week, all through the rest of league, it Is finally time to go all out and aggressive for me.

The Manchester city game went as i predicted, Grealish blank, Halaand haul.
Where do you get your info? Or what is your definition of blank and haul?
Haaland had 12 points and Grealish had 7 points. Yes Haaland got more but nowhere near enough to use those descriptions you provided.

For instance Saka got a blank today, 0 points with missed penalty. Ok that is literal blank and I am also using blank for players that don't get any returns but you can't call blanking anybody that gets 4 points or more in my book. Also 12 points for Haaland is almost a slow day in office by his extremely high standards.
I agree wth this definition. The average score for a player haven't been clean all through the game including his bonus is around 4-6 and with Grealish having at least 7 points from 45 minutes of game play, he did good. Same goes to E  Haaland too. They didn't have  enough playing time and that's the managers strategy and so, the points wasn't mounting.
It wasn't a very great week I must say, with me playing catch up and with about 8-9 games remaining, the competition is almost ripe for the Top 5. You guys are doing great must say.

@Icopress, you seem to have got it wrong with your team in this round, lot of your guys did zero out!

I can see it happening, they already killed off the game in the first half, therefore it's time to substitute Haland and Grealish so they can rest up for the next match. I'm having a nice week so far, and I just want Grealish and Martinelli to blank and then Gakpo and Saka haul
You was apparently right as Pep had  E. Haaland removed as a halftime substitute for J. Alvarez, another good striker that has been able to fit in E. Haaland's shoes at least slightly for his team in his absence but, not so much a desired first 11 for a FPL team.

You want Grealish to blank, really... you better not be serious about that as I'm hoping he could produce one of his moments from recent runs in the Manchester City games. He's been coming up with the assists and goals. Has created a penalty offence and that's good for this game but, a goals anticipated.

Just how did Gakpo ended up on your team i wonder. He's good but, don't seem to have been the kind of player that hauls points.

Yeah, I sold Rashford and got a Liverpool midfield asset to allow me to field 10 players in GW 32 blank week. I wanted Salah, but he was way too expensive for my budget, so I had to settle for someone who is likely to provide big attacking returns. I still need two Liverpool assets for the DGW 35.

Is it reasonable to say that Una Emery, who is a Europa league marchant, has a decent chance of winning it for Aston Villa if they qualify for it?
It would be great to see Aston Villa competing for the UEFA Europa League title next season, but the manager Unai Emery needs to unify his team and move forward to earn more points to secure their qualification. I will also keep Watkins for the rest of the season as he can still score more goals in the remaining matches of the season.
He's probably going to qualify; that's the major goal right now, and don't forget about Watkins; they have some nice fixtures.

I never liked Kane enough and had Mitoma on the bench, but Isak and Toney were major let down, I still don't understand why I'm sleeping on Ollie watkins and he'd be the major reason my week could end up not so good because most of my other opponents have him in their squads.
Kae has been quite productive, at least if he wasn't at the end of some creation or having some sole time, he's often bound to end up at the end of a set piece which he often scores. Today was obviously not his day and Son rocked all the way. Sadly enough for them, they were met with a Bournemouth that was determined to come from behind and win this round.

And Guardiola wouldn't let me enojy the joy of having Haaland as captain, man could have gone ahead to score 5 goals today, but Guardiola being himself removed him from the game after he's sure that the result is secure as of halftime.
This is one gamble that is common with Pep and I don't blame him, his got confidence in not just his first team players but his bench as well. Just that, he made the rest of us lose points that is very much needed but, I can imagine it spanning through  list of users and so, iwouldnt think about it very much.

Fair enough, I was unaware of Foden's injury. Grealish should be safe for the time being, but I'm still picturing Pep pulling off one major surprise. Depending on the outcome of the first half, he might substitute both Jack and Halaand early.

Of course that would depend on the outcome of the game from first half but, I don't see them having that result thy could necessitate an early substitution. Manchester City is still very much in the EPL race for the trophy and with just 3 points difference at the moment,  they've still got to give them games there all.

Kane and Mitoma disappointed me, but I won't hold that against Mitoma because I watched him play and can only say that he was a little unlucky today. He gave everything and was one of the best players on the field. Sadly, I was expecting Brighton keeping a clean sheet.

Some of my bad decision this week is definitely not letting off either Kane or Toney. I really should have leave Walkins be.

Man city is still 6 points behind Arsenal but I think man city will win today's match and if man city get 3 points today they will be only 3 points behind then Arsenal. today's match is very easy for Man City. and hope they don't miss this opportunity. And if Man City does well in the next matches, they can overtake Arsenal and go to the number one position.  And they will have a high chance of winning the Premier League. although Man City have high possibility to win, they are being offered only 1.13 odds while Leicester City are being offered 18 odds.

The Goat Watkins scored twice! You won't ever leave my squad, I promise. I've always loved Unai Emery, and his transformation of Aston Villa from a team fighting for survival to one contending for the Top 4 deserves special recognition.
I'm still hoping I haven't made a bad decision with O. Walkins, taking him off my team to create space for E. Haaland. What better choice would one have made than leaving O. Walkins on your team to have them points from a brace, match bonus and the team securing a clean sheet. I had other options with Tooney but, hope he scores a brace too, lol... E. Haaland too just have to come through with something superb against Leicester City.

Jack Grealish with 12.9% ownership.  Yeah, I'm looking forward to Pep showing up to the party with Foden and leaving Jack on the bench for the game against Bayern next week. This will be quite handy for me.
It will not be Foden, he had a surgery and I am quite sure he will not play this week. Sort of thinking Grealish should be safe for the time being since PL games are arguably more important now. They already have a nice lead on Bayern while every point in PL counts. That being said it is Pep and he always finds a way to screw with our plans.

Have a feeling Alvarez could get a chance today, he deserves one for sure.

Depending on the outcome of the first half, he might substitute both Jack and Halaand early. The champions league is the priority for Man City and Pep this year, so a 3-0 lead is not yet a safe haven. I'm not saying I expected Bayern to make a comeback, but this is the champions league, so anything is possible. At this point, Pep would prefer saving his best players for champions league games than chasing Arsenal to the final lap. We've witnessed comebacks with larger margins of victory frequently when nobody anticipated them.

I just discovered the extent of Rashford's injury and he won't be back until the final day of their double game week, so I have no reason to hold on to him anymore, I'd agree that there is not safe defender to have so it's rather easier for to go for cheaper Brighton, Brentford and Newcastle ones who can still keep a clean sheet when playing an equal opponent than Recce James and Trent Alexander-Arnold esque with zero clean sheet or a City defender that I'm not even sure would make the line up. If going to double triple up on City with back line I'll rather just go with Ederson.

Good decision, i warned ya.

I'm thinking about bringing Trent in for the Liverpool double game week. I'm not expecting a double cleansheet, but they might as well get one vs Fulham, and Trent is the only one who can offer some attacking return, a goal/assist with one cleansheet? That's fine with me.

I did my free transfer early this week, took Rashford out. Without a FH chip, i'd rather have someone who plays this week and next, if he's fit for DGW34 i will get him back.

My only dilemma is deciding who to field as my third defender, currently on Estupinan. From Lampard's presser we are to expect rotation in the Chelsea squad, and with Brighton creating so many chances every game, Estu could easily get on the end of one. Schar is my least favorite option, Newcastle could have conceded 3-4 goals in the first half against Brentford, and i don't think they can keep a clean sheet, especially given Watkins' scoring spree. And then there's Rico Henry, who hasn't kept a single clean sheet* (lol one vs. sou) since i wildcarded him in my team. I mean he was really close to scoring/assisting but didn't...the first week i benched him, he won a penalty for them. Lol  I have this sneaky suspicion he's gonna return again, maybe even with a clean sheet. Wolves not creating much, not scoring, have low xG, etc. Hmm...
Problem is there isn't a single defender at this moment I really want to have in my team except for Trippier. Still I don't trust Newcastle defense enough for double up. City is rotating too much and their defenders don't get attacking returns. United is plagued with injuries, Chelsea is all over the place. Spurs and Brighton are never teams to keep a clean sheet. Liverpool is one of the worst defenses this season, and so on.

My advice to Rashford holder- Sell Sell Sell
My advice is always to not make rash decisions. For instance I am planing on free hitting GW32 so I don't have a problem in that GW. Not counting GW31, it means united will play 5 games until I need him again, plenty of time to get better. Twice against Sevilla and domestic cup. One week on the bench for me and hopefully he is 100% ready in GW34 when United has 2 fixtures and I want Rashford in first 11.

Rashford being on my bench would not gave any significant impact because, I got him in for around 6.6-6.8m I can't remember exact figure, but the only reason that'd make me get rid of him would be if I need to have 3 Man Utd, but I don't for now, so I would instead have him on the bench.

Too bad I was already thinking of adding Martial to the list and I know Martial - Rashford  partnership would always yield significant result but I can for who exactly, I'll just wait before jumping on Martial or Gabriel Jesus bandwagon.

If you have FH, keeping him is a good gamble, but if you don't have FH, keeping a player who will be out for a long time is not good coach management in my opinion. For me to fill in 10 players in 32, I need to get rid of Rashford and get a Liverpool midfield asset not only for GW32 but also for DGW 34. I couldn't afford Salah, so I had to settle for Gakpo.

Shaw will return in GW32 for their cup match.
