It's an all out for me right now, it's a go hard or go home for in the next three game weeks, it's just rather too bad for me knowing I don't own any chip that I could count on, the Free Hit or wildcard would have really helped in this situation.

I'll probably go with the overhaul for the game week 36 or 37. However, I hope it won't be too little too late, already I'm currently stuck on 6th position for a long while and @igebotz is the 5th placed user... and as the healthy competition we usually have, I just cant wait to oust him from that position, although that only prove he's a proud Chelsea fan  Cool  Cool

Good way to minimize that situation is to builf squad with just one proper sub and 3 bench warmers. You save the money for first 11 and avoid points on the bench. Only problem is those pesky weeks when some last minute injuries or unexpected rotations happen.

there is an issue with squad value as well, since bench warmers will have their price decline with time
I had that situation this year, started all in 11 players, and all those bench warmers slid to 3,9 or 3,8 million (which is not much in decline, but with players that actually play, you would get some value, some it is doubled failure in the end)

all in all, I would not recommend this route, it is better to have big points on bench from time to time
That is because you choose wrong bench warmers. Trick is to pick those with lowest ownership, they will not play anyway. Price is adjusted when lot of managers buy or sell certain player, if nobody has your player, price can only rise  Wink

Also squad value is important in first half of the season, now not so much. Now it is all about finishing strong and rising a couple of more places in ranking. Difference between 3rd playing striker like Watkins or Isak and Greenwood gets you an option to go for Salah instaed of Gakpo, at least for me. Well worth it in my book since I don't have bench boost anymore.

Talking about bad decisions, I left Mings on the bench for the first time since I got him and this happened, keeping my fingers crossed but it would be disastrous if Brighton conceded tomorrow, picking Estupinan ahead of Mings was not a very good decision from me, I really don't know what went through my head. Angry

There was a situation for me also that the players who I put in the subs collected so many points a few times. This is really a very annoying situation.
We all have that problem, this week I opted for Kepa and left Steele on the bench. I did not expect either to keep clean sheet but who would have guessed Steele would save a penalty.

I started to practice about building a squad. I'm playing fifa ultimate team and I will be the biggest favourite of the pool if names like Kenny Dalglish, Dennis Bergkamp, Maldini return to football next season. Cheesy

It was one nap to long on the other end for me, I already made my transfer earlier as the previous game week transfer deadline passed and made a couple of substitutions to the starting line up and was going to make further changes before the just passed deadline, I think I sure would have had Grealish in for Eze.

I think I can live with that mistake, but that's if Jack Grealish doesn't get a haul against Arsenal.

Grealish is quite in-form on the recent weeks. I want to transfer him for my team if I can set it for next week.

My bad advice: If you're ahead, keep Haaland, lose Jesus. Arsenal might win this, but they are probably going to allow goals, and doubt seeing Jesus converting.

My worse advice: If you're chasing, then you need to gamble. Arsenal want this win, and Pep might take his experimentation a bit too far. Out all City, max out Arsenal for a whooping.

When I read this advice the moment that I was indecisive between Haaland and Kane came to my mind. Even though I made the right choice by picking Haaland I was very bad about my other choices. Sad

I don't even update the squad very often because of throwing in the towel a little early this year. I hope that everyone in the pool continues to play next year. Because I have a revenge to take.👿

My concern now is that Jesus might lose his spot on the team, and Halaand is someone you don't want out of your team.

Advice please

Thanks mate, but I went with both at the end, letting go of Ode and Kane and bringing in Halaand and Rashford because I can't afford to not have both at this time. Taking Kane out was a bad idea, but I had no choice after my error last GW, and with the news swirling about Totteham right now, I don't trust them against United.

Mings score!!!!!, however I unfortunately left him on the bench hahahah poor me.

Schar 🤝 Kane = 14pts  these two lowkey saved my rank! It would have been nice if Solanke had contributed something too. I heard he had a chance or two vs. West Ham, hitting the post in the second half....but hey, can't really complain! I lost 15 to 20 points to those who played their FH this week, but i gained 10-12 pts on them in 25 when i played mine. The only difference is that back then people wanted to get rid of their Liverpool players, and now i'm sure they'll want to bring them in.

6 more gameweeks to go, some juicy doubles as well...

However,I observed you repeatedly returning to Darwin, even when he was nasty and painful to watch.

That's actually not true for me (I say this I realise with complete bias). I loved watching him play, the chaos he caused, the runs he makes, I honestly think he's just been unlucky. Since he got injured and doesn't make full appearances, his quality does seem to have dropped a level though.

Moved him out for Jota, Salah back in. Seems to have worked, probably going to keep them in now for the remainder of the season and just restrategise next one.

Oh, I see. I had the option of bringing in Jota/Jesus for Halaand and chose the latter, brought in Trent for Bueno who has lost his spot on the wolves team, now I'm screwed and stuck with Jesus because I no longer have the resources to bring back Halaand, either I get rid of Kane, which is the last thing on my mind right now. Just when I thought I was on track to finish strong, this happens.

FPL is about choosing players you believe in and enjoy watching.

Didn't work out for me early season, but that worked for me many many years ago playing the BBC one. Or maybe my teammates (office colleagues back then) were just making me look good. And this was when Liverpool weren't great haha.

Robbo's the only guy in my team I enjoy watching and in my FPL. Salah's producing still just no longer at the same thrill rate I am used to.

Choosing the players you believe in is not the same as being a fanatic (I'm not sure if that word is appropriate, but you invented it here), and let me tell you where you went wrong: I enjoy James more than any other player in the league, but he was only a part of my team during the early part of the season before his injury. If I were being a fanatic, I would have chosen him again, but that wasn't the case. However,I observed you repeatedly returning to Darwin, even when he was nasty and painful to watch.

Ramsey from Aston Villa is another player I'm keeping an eye on; he's a big differential with good attacking returns with only 1.4% ownership.

survived my blank weeks without a single chip- luckyme Grin

I started the week great and then was very unlucky yesterday, getting just three points from Saka and Fernandez was really unexpected. Saka with missed penalty and Fernadez with couple of great shots but no returns.

GW 32 is a free hit for me so I already know I will take Saka, Martineli, Jesus, Salah, Trent + 1 more Liverpool and then I have no idea. Probably some Newcastle, CP and West Ham.

Some consolation came in the form of Salah (unfortunately only vice as the captaincy was all Saka heh) and Jota, whom I'm gambling on leaving on, now that Diaz is actually back in play, I might switch him in once his match fitness returns.

Watkins the one I feel a bit cheated, been banking on him outside of FPL, and then he brings in the goods lately.

Your speculations for the GW seems to have turned out almost perfectly. Even Gakpo who isn't good at scoring managed to net a go from a controversial build up as, the ball came off the arm of Alexander, although his arm was right by his side.
It was just me playing mind games and planning ahead of the blank GW for my Brighton, Manchester United, and Manchester City assets. I knew following the Rashford news that most managers would be buying in Grealish, so I went the opposite way to keep my GW32 from being a disaster. The race for the top five is intense right now; one wrong mistake and you're out.

Did it with Watkins and the outcome has been great thus far.

Any tips for rhe next GW, hope your voodoo gives you some near accurate speculations on what could play out for next GW too, lol... Kidding!
There's nothing to see here; just grab Liverpool assets if you don't already have one, but avoid Darwin. BTW, getting Trent with my free transfer.

As far as I'm concerned, if you don't score, it's a blank week as long as you are an attacking winger or a striker. It could have been a bad week for me if Grealish had scored, but every Manager has their own imagination and definition of both terms, and as for Saka, I don't have words for him just yet. Cool
That's some definition of a blank bro but, that's to you and it okay at that point. Maybe its a standard thing for you and thats some quota out there and i can't say I would go with that at any point. Perhaps whn goalkeeper's don't get to make penalty saves or keep clean sheet could be said to have blanked too, lol.

Couldn't care less if my attacker scored on not, I just care about the points, I will take one assist and 3 bonus points every day over 1 goal without bonus Smiley

Pulled the chip now, I can play until the deadline. Free hit is definitely the most fun chip to use, don't need to care at all about future, just picking a squad for one GW.

It's true, this is the perfect time for a free hit, but I don't have it. However, we can work on losing some points and taking advantage of this round, taking into consideration WG34 as it has a double game, so it would be great to focus on the key players, especially those from Manchester United and Liverpool.

Salah managed to score in today's match against Leeds.Maybe I'll get rid of Harry and add Salah to my lineup!!

The Manchester city game went as i predicted, Grealish blank, Halaand haul.
Where do you get your info? Or what is your definition of blank and haul?
Haaland had 12 points and Grealish had 7 points. Yes Haaland got more but nowhere near enough to use those descriptions you provided.
