Lol. Everyone says that betting that City will take the title is too long and odds of 1.73 are not worth it, but at the same time, I see that everyone is happy to make different parlays

Chelsea's lineup is such a disaster, to the point where everyone is arguing where Ben Chilwell is starting. Not a good sign.
A bit gutted that all those attackers are starting except for Nunez though, but it's almost inconceivable that he's not subbed in for action.
For forwards it's not really the 60 mins that matters but the goal and assist contributions.

My first FPL GW isn't a total disaster despite dropping further down the league. I don't know how I managed to go below 10th place after starting strong at 7th place. Could have been higher if Arsenal had kept their cool till match ended and KDB didn't get off, injured. Plenty of work to do in the coming weeks and a couple of lessons learnt.
Wait for the EPL week to end buddy **which is probably Monday when most users here have their players get to play for Manchester United** otherwise too early to claim your position especially that I have noticed some FPL members here have scored ~70 points with everyone played and I see close to a ~100 points for our pool as 1st weeks results come in once United get a positive result, goodluck.Tottenham have impressed me how they have held up against a lethal Brentford side despite losing Kane to Bayern, thought they would be licking their wounds by now..

On that, how about a $100 bet on any team of your choice, going H2H against Man City for this season, I'd have Man City then pick a team of choice, it's not who finishes above this time around, as I understand the odds around that, but instead it's just the 2 games affair of home and away, and the better side wins the bet, and in a case of each team winning one game apiece, then the goal difference would be the deciding over both games would be the deciding factor, meanwhile the usual away goal rule will not be in play incase of a draw and that would mean parity. You in ? Just a quote would do here.

I won't say you're terrible at this, but I think it's more of you actually having a handful of more important stuff to do and you'd on a scale of 9/10 stop making team changes or even at that forget that you have a football team to manage
with the right dedication of time, so due to the types of bet and calls you make shows that it's not rocket science to figure out you'd likely be a pro at this, if only you have enough time at hand to spare towards it.

It is really awkward for James to play three Liverpool attacks against Chelsea. No way am I believing R. James owns this squad. There is no way James would pick 11 players without adding any of his teammates. Nice try, Icopress, but I'm not convinced.
It's actually not awkward from my own point of view because we can all agree that he'll not be as heavily invested as we would be week in, week out, so let's just say just like Hhampuz he's picked like his team for the entire season and would likely not be making changes every other week like we all likely would, so if that's the case then his squad as actually a very decent one to be be completely honest, and speaking of his team mates, he knows none of them have their place in the new squad guaranteed just yet come rain, come shine.

I think Reece James has the biggest potential to collect points among the defensive players. I can add him into my squad 2 weeks later.

I scanned the rules, vice captain don't get any bonus except the actual captain for that Gw was unavailable, that's when they'll step in as the captain and earn the captain bonus for that week.
Does Vice Captain make any difference to points? I had mine on the goalkeeper as well, didn't think it mattered lol.

This bet is super on your side lol, looking at Gvardiol starting ratio all through out last season they were high for both club and country, although stones impressed me last season In the back and on the attack, and Pep can be unpredictable in his selection which makes your bet interesting. I don't think Manchester city went through all that troubles not to play Gvardiol at the center of their defense as much as they can.Last season, Gvardiol battled injuries and missed the majority of the season. He is also in a more intense league and a fresh environment, so there is a 50% possibility that he will struggle to adapt, and a 50% chance that he will do well in his first season and cement his place in the starting IX. Both players are injury prone and that makes the bet more interesting.
