Kepa, damn, yeah, couldn't have seen that coming, honestly. I probably have him unfairly dismissed mentally since 2 seasons ago, though he isn't the only one.

I did avoid a Casemiro mistake (Club talk chat made me consider it for a while) but there's very little joy for me here because of results elsewhere. And yeah, jumping on the triple Rashford bandwagon is the only good decision I've made this entire week.

@casperCGD if Nketiah had just put that one goal away in the first half, things coulda been different.

We're off to a decent start, Rashford triple captainers! Things could've been even better if not for Casemiro's red. Rashford was central after Weghorst substitution, felt like more returns were coming his way. But hey, 36 points with the Leeds game coming up, we can't really complain. I'm surprised that only three of us have used the chip on him. now to Everton, predicted goalless draw in Superbru, but have to change it now, two goalless draws are statistically not EPL thing

edit: expected good defense and thought to change Nketiah to Tarkowski, but left him on the bench, maybe it is for the better, if I did that, we would lost 0:3 probably

I'm not in the bandwagon of triple captaining Rashford, and I don't have Bruno Fernandes either, I settled for Wout Weghorst as my main man, and that'd do for me, I just hope Rashford doesn't cause a rout in as much as I have him on my team too, I just don't want him having great DGW tbh and the same goes for Bruno Fernandes too

Not getting Kepa with -4 is the worst advice I've received on this thread. I was absolutely certain we'd keep a clean sheet against Fulham. We may be toothless up front, but our defense is quite solid with Silva and Badiashile. I'm stuck with Ward 2-3 pointer for the rest of my life.

Trusting the process is when you see some positive changes around the club and how the team plays. To be honest, Potter hasn't shown anything special, and the fact that he continues to play Kai, Mount, and Gala when there are better options on the bench is quite concerning. What am I to trust now?

Todd Boehly needs to get us Messi and Ronaldo next summer, until then I won't take him serious. 

You can't know that before game week actually starts, now that it started I can see that 3 of us used triple captain chip, and we all used it on Rashford. There is some people that don't have Rashford and couple of Haaland captainers so I am guessing effective ownership is somewhere around 150%. Not gonna check everybody and do the math

Kepa with another 10 points, my best decision post world cup so far. Brought me so many points, definitely much more than I expected.

I can only imagine who the two Chelsea players are; as a supporter, the only player currently worth having is Kepa, and if I had to choose one defender, Silva would be it since I don't trust anyone else and he is the only one whose spot is guaranteed at the back. James, Cucurella, and Koulibaly were the last Chelsea players I had before they turned into shells of their former selves.

BTW, our new attack and midfield appear promising; I'll give them a few weeks to develop before I decide. My target now is Kepa, however I'm currently on a tight budget..

Regarding substitutions, you always have first person on the bench entering providing that person entrance does not trigger a formation that does not exist. For instance you must have at least 3 defenders in the field at all times. So if you start with 3 defenders and one of them doesn't play and your first sub is striker he will not get in, your first defender sub will get in. If you play with 5 midfielders you are ok for sure and you first sub will enter, no matter if it is striker or defender.

I am thinking Rashford gets over 200% effective ownership this week, meaning if you don't triple captain him, you are hoping he blanks.

I am not on that train so far, maybe will join, but still thinking it through, but captain Rashford should not be questioned

back to 3-4-3 from 3-5-2 that I played since restart, and proved to be good, at the moment, I simply do not have 5 midfielders worth including in the squad
what happens if some attackers is not playing, and you do not have replacement on the bench? is it first replacement entering, or no one, or there is some other rule?

So I did the easiest thing in the world: copy Trofo and probably half of FPL by using triple captain on Rashford.

I was going to stick with Salah but then I needed some money for transfer and so I reluctantly transferred him out. Also took a -4 penalty but will probably have this for the next couple of weeks too to clear out my Newcastle squad.

I don't think Chelsea players are such terrible invest especially Kepa and a couple of guys from their defense line, cheap and their run of fixtures looks pretty good, but it's something I'd lose any transfer right now, but If I had one Chelsea defender and/or Kepa right now, I definitely wouldn't be transfering them out except they are not getting playing time, especially Kepa, he would fit in just perfectly as the Pope alternative for me while not breaking the bank, and I'll easily be able to choose between either of them depending on their fixture for the particular gameweek, and Chelsea doesn't have a blank fixture ahead yet, so they are good options to own right now., although I'll avoid their midfielders and forwards like a plague for the time being.

I'm not so confident with my team, honestly I could still use a couple of changes more, but I'm not looking forward to provoke lady luck and just stick with the cheapest way out, so it's going to a potential minus -4 points for the next couple gameweek for me, but that'd be solely depending how I perform in the previous week, If I'm able to cover the deficit of the points hit with my new selection over what the players I transfered then, I'll take the hit going into the other week until I get to reach my dream too.

Generally it is always better to wait when unsure in this game. Nothing worse then jumping on player just to remove him a week or two later. Better wait and miss one haul then risk it and miss. Problem is out of 10 new players one will hit the ground flying while more than half will not even play and remainder will give you 2 pointers maximum.

That being said I went a bit crazy and decided to go -8 this week to get my dream team

it is 5m, several new players joined FPL, and most are below or at 5m (Enzo Fernandez as well)
still thinking it through should I chase new-joiners for first round, or wait to see will they get a chance from the start (Joao Felix, looking at you)

in the end, all my stories about Everton signings come to end, and we are only club from lower half that didn't sign anyone during transfer window, relegation at 68%, highest from all clubs

That's another player with a guaranteed playing time at Man United, I'd probably expect him to kickoff at that 5.5m threshold or at most not more than 6m. but for 6m, I don't think I'll be able to afford bringing in another Man United player especially at midfield position, reason being they don't score well enough amount of goals for me to want to risk having two outfield players from Man United at the cost of my team fluidity, if not I might have to revert back to the having just 1 premium, a mid priced and a 4-4.5m range forward players in my team, with the latter being my bench player.

I have worked hard to remove emotions from betting so now it is second nature. Only way I can be in the green sometimes.

Anyway, United made a great move in last moments of transfer window, they loaned Sabitzer until season end. He will come real handy now when Eriksen got injured for long term and Van Der Beek is also out until next season. This double GW maybe comes to soon but I am thinking Sabitzer could easy find spot in my team if he gets nice price.

with DCL and some other players, IMO, there were in, what I would call, not a good relationship with Lampard

and regarding betting and FPL, you are taking betting more serious, I am usually betting for fun, on beer money (and never on teams that support)
FPL is also an entertainment, although I am trying to improve in second half of the season, and playing more serious, but then again, if I miss Everton players (have one on a bench), that I support, what is a pleasure there, almost a job

J5 will perform well in a possessive team like Arsenal, I'm sure we didn't see his best at Chelsea, he didn't play half of what he did at Napoli under Sarri. I'm looking forward to the transfer, but if we don't get Enzo, we're in big trouble.

Personally, I would not assign Saka to PK if J5 was on the pitch; however, this is just my opinion.

Why would Spurs let Richarlison go? He was quite important for them and had good World Cup.

It is nice to support clubs like Everton but I will never let that influence my betting decisions or FPL squad. Everton is a place to be avoided this season in FPL, nothing more to add

What happened with DCL? He was very promising and then this season nothing. I know he has some injuries but even when he played he looked very poor.

have to think a bit what to do, one free transfer is not enough to change attackers, and I want to include third MU player in my team, will have to think it through (chasing DGW brings you to eventually using -4 or -8 points transfers at some point)
