Hey guys, things are happening. It would be unwise to make any transfers now because players' futures are not guaranteed until after today's deadline. With the way the market is moving, I wouldn't be surprised if I woke up in the morning and saw Halaand in Real Madrid jersey

Jorginho and Tottenham Doehty have moved on to a new club. Jorginho, who has 5 months left on his contract, is a good profit for us because the team was not going to extend his contract and he was going to leave as a free agent at the end of the season. I like Jorginho, but he's not the perfect DM, and I hope Arteta plans to use him in other areas of the game. What would happen to Saka now that they have a true PK taker on the team?

Cancelo move to Bayern Munich is 100% official+ €70m buy clause at the end of the season..... Nah no one saw it coming. I'm sure Pep and Cancelo relationship got broken.
Wow! What's he still doing on my team... I was looking forward to getting him out for Trippier perhaps but, without any free transfer at the moment, would FPL give this a free move? Can't be loosing any valuable points at the time.
I've asked such question in the past i guess i didn't get an answer.

Unfortunately you don't get any free transfer in cases of moves like that of Cancelo or even any kind of move from one club to another, it happens every year in the FPL. They don't even remove the player from the game until the end of the season.

I'm glad I no longer have him from a couple of weeks back having discovered he's too value to be sitting on my bench, it would have been a big blow for me, having already taken 8 points hit to then discover a few days to the game week that I'd be taking another mandatory point hit because of such transfer  Roll Eyes

This guy used to be my favorite asset in the game last year, not sure what happened between him and Pep...
It was really strange thing to happen and I am thinking maybe Cancelo said after the World Cup that he wants to leave. That in turn caused Pep to do what he did and now Cancelo is going away. Problem is not matter what Pep says, he doesn't have a better full back at the club.
Pep only likes you when you are doing well, and if you want to survive under Pep, you must be extremely patient. Stone and Aker were backups to Diaz and Laporte, but now they are the first choice. When you are on Pep's team, your position is not guaranteed even if you are at the top of your game; he is ruthless because he has the resources to replace anyone. B.Silva and Foden are up next.

Martinelli to ODe/Saka is a no-brainer, I must need three Arsenal players for DGW23, so I'll probably do Almiron to Saka or Mitovic to Nketieh. What are your thoughts, man?
For short term I rate Arsenal assets as follows: Nketiah, Odegaard, Saka, Gabriel, Martinelli, Gabriel, Saliba, White. But any three of those is good enough and I wouldn't spend transfer on removing Martinelli.
i already have Saliba and Martenelli. Saliba is untouchable .

With Haaland and Kane proving to be FPL goldmines, owning both could be the key to success in the second half of the season. However, given their high prices, managers will need to find some cost-effective alternatives to make room for them. Nketiah, Weghorst, and Ferguson are all excellent options, with double gameweeks and strong recent form that make them valuable additions to any roster. Furthermore, Ferguson's low cost allows managers to switch to a 3-5-2 formation, which could give them an advantage over competitors.
Weghorst, for real? I get it his a good player but, his not kicking in the EPL just yet. His only goal for Manchester United so far has been in the FA Cup and I hope this opens him to much scoring but, his hardly a good investment at this point.
Nketiah has been finding his feet and he seems to have got a hang on it, missing several chances before he eventually nets one or two and perhaps gets an assist all thanks to his positioning when Arsenal is attacking within the box. I can't can't much for Ferguson, haven't gotten enough of him just yet.

If you still own Cancelo, you should think about transferring him out. Your squad value will take a hit as his price will drop today, tomorrow, and the next day, his ownership is nearly 40% atm.

I literally knew there was trouble in paradise, and I was expecting a number of moves away from the club, including Cancelo quite frankly, I was still having a conversation last week with a friend about Cancelo era at the club coming to an end, but what I didn't see coming is anyone leaving this early. If Guardiola stays on at the end of this season, you could expect a couple of more people heading out come the end of the season, Foden is my pick of the next player on the list of imminent departure.

Maddisson still too risky? He's been in training already. Sure, not sharp, but all we need from him is a couple freekick goals.
Not just in training. He played last game and immediately Leicester looked much more dangerous going forward. He is a class player but I simply don't see a way you can fit him in the squad when one space is reserved for Rashford, and then you have all those cheap Arsenal and Brighton midfielders plus one from City. Simply no space in the midfield for differentials.

Ah damn, should have read older posts, so it's double game week confirmed, no wonder the Rashford love. Still plenty of time to switch around, and I'm happy to take a few points off to bring in another midfielder. Or Nunez back (haha).

My FPL is currently the definition of fantasy (players I believe will turn a corner in a big way).

big news for Sorare platform, they integrated EPL into their game
what this brings is that it is now possible to play for free EPL fantasy  (SO5 and new games will be introduced) on their platform

as I already foreseen when they introduced free fantasy for top4 leagues, except for EPL, now they added EPL to the show, and this could influence FPL next season as well

but on a serious note, what would you do with someone from the Championship who has yet to kick a ball in a struggling Everton? Let's see how your scouting venture goes.
~snip

Gyokeres is actually playing almost as good as Mitrovic in Championship, and Mitrovic proved that scoring goals in Championship could be almost replicated in EPL
but, so far, nothing from his transfer, Dyche confirmed as new Everton coach, but have 36 hours to sign someone (2 players have approved, if agreed with other clubs)

I've been fantasizing about KDB to Bruno and Martinelli to Ode/Saka, and this could be the week.
KDB to Bruno seems great since KDB dropped a lot in form and Bruno has a double GW.

Martinelli to Ode/Saka I understand but it still feels like sideways move, especially if you have a lot of money tied in him. He could easily start to get some minutes on Nketiah expanse when Trossard takes his minutes. That would make him even better fantasy option. We are just not 100% sure how it will look. I agree Ode/Saka are better options but not sure that change is worth a transfer.

KBD to Bruno is a done deal  + adds on  Grin now then take hit Vise versa in DGW23 for Manchester city.

I would also not take a hit to change GK, but I have Kepa, and probably want Pope, but both seem good at the moment
Gyokeres is coming to Everton, and I think that I will have to include him into my team, not sure that he is going to help much, but not having at least one Evertonian seems wrong

Rashford captaincy could be good call for this game week
GK transfers very rarely pay out. They have just clean sheets to give them points and that is quite hard to predict.

Who the hell is Gyokeres? And why would you want him in your team Smiley Some of your young talents from Sorare?
BGD, like Buwaytress, makes underdog decisions. You can never predict these guys and sometimes their decisions always turn out well, but on a serious note, what would you do with someone from the Championship who has yet to kick a ball in a struggling Everton? Let's see how your scouting venture goes.

Rashford captaincy should be a great call but still waiting for last game in cup before doing any decisions. If United rested him in that game and they have 3:0 from first so they should I am giving him triple captain.
You're still holding on to your triple captaincy chip, man? This might be the perfect time for you, Rashford against Crystal Palace and Leeds United both smell like two goals and one assist. I've been fantasizing about KDB to Bruno and Martinelli to Ode/Saka, and this could be the week.

it is a striker from Coventry city, and plays good season

not sure how he will perform in Everton, but he is first call from new manager, so will probably play, and Everton is currently struggling with goalscorers

combine that I would like us to survive in EPL, and he is the one who should score goals, so I would like him in the team

I really don't fancy owning Kane to be honest and wouldn't opted for him if not for the game week, I felt his value would be better spent to upgrade my midfielders a bit while also getting similar points as Kane often provide from cheaper forwards like Mitrovic and Toney, while also making your team more flexible when needing to transfer in two or more players e.g one midfielder and a forward, or defender.
What are your thoughts on this? Because I already have Mitovic, I'm considering Kane to Nketieh until at least Jesus recovers from his injury. Nketieh will always be in command of that position. Tottenham are struggling at the moment. For the DGW , Almiron to Bruno looks perfect.

-4 to bring in Kepa

Looks good to me, although I have both Kane and Almiron, and I might be doing something else with both or either of them, however, -4 just to bring Kepa right now feels like wrong reason, I'm sure either of your keepers should a better fixture, I don't think I'll take a point hit just to bring in GK unless who I'm bringing in has a DGW.

Don't make your transfers yet, unless you will get priced out by waiting. There is still a lot of time before next deadline and there could be more injuries or surprises. For instance it isn't 100% certain that United has double game week. If they play draw today, there isn't double GW. Probably will not happen but you never know. Leeds did their part of the job earlier today.
Double game weekly for both Manchester united and Leeds United confirmed. No injuries.

That could change soon, just remember first half of the season when Leicester was the worst defense of the league and then they kept, 6 clean sheets in 7 games or something like that. They were awful I agree but now Maddison is back and he will do wonders for their attack so maybe their defense gets better as well.

Not gonna lie, I have Ward/Kepa in my team and Ward is perma bench for now but I am never doing GK transfers for minus points. I wouldn't want him as my first keeper as well but I think double/blank game weeks are a priority.
I'm likely to keep Ward, but I believe -4 for Kepa will come in handy after three clean sheets in the last three games. We face a struggling Fulham next. Who knows, maybe we'll see another Kepa 10-pointer. Every time I think too much, I have a bad week. Lol

Rashford (C) for the DGW! Hope Halaand doesn't get a hattrick, because the last time I took my band off him, he got a hattrick..

I can't afford it unless I get rid of Kane and Almiron, and I'm keeping an eye on Mertinell because this could be his last GW as my player. Ward is my goalkeeper, and he's not playing well right now. For the last five games, Liecester has failed to keep a clean sheet.

You are correct.

Almiron to Bruno is good transfer if you can pay for it. I would rather get rid of Mitrović then Kane for Nketiah but I guess you don't have money for that. Don't bring Kepa for -4 unless you have really bad first keeper.
