I offloaded Nkunku last week same as Trofo, put Semenyo in his place, decided I'm going to try and now keep a transfer a week, and 1 to 2 m in the bank. I really wanted Saka but didn't know who to offload without the penalties. Suppose it was all right to wait in the end. Joao Pedro is a revelation, just wish he didn't get the yellow, and pulled off the win, heh heh.

Wood is also really doing well, to me.

Kept Isak for a while though, if I do swap him out it'll be to pack my midfield. Slowly, slowly, getting there.

P.S. Sad that it finally took me caving in to Haaland to stay competitive. FPL is broken Tongue
Wood is doing good for me as well. Too bad I left him on my bench to let ESR and Rogers a bit of playing time. Expensive call. But at least I gave the captain band to Haaland. Got 3 goals, 3 bonus points and he could have had even more. 15M is a lot but Norwegian robot is worth it.

Did you guys see that graphic about players with most hat tricks? He is already way up top and he took like 20% of the games others have to accomplish that.

As I was expecting the Arsenal - Brighton match to end up with many goals, I chose Saka for the captain role in my team this week. However because of the foolish red card Rice got, Arsenal were only able to get a draw with a 1-1 score at their home stadium. When it comes to Haaland, he scored 2 goals against West Ham in the first 30 minutes of the match already. I was really unlucky with my choice as a result.  Sad

freaking Haaland is going to ruin every fun that comes with the FPL

It's not even halftime yet and he has 2 goals to his name, and another extra 3 points that'd likely accompany that, if anyone that failed to use their triple captain chip last week did for this week, they sure would be licking their lips already, fck!!!

Many yellow and even a res card in this first day of this game week.

Maybe Arteta can bring him back like he has done to Havertz, but I still will not bank on that, It is difficult to change a stingy player.
Kai Havertz first season with Chelsea is still better than all version of Arsenal Kai Havertz, I'm curious what you guys think he has improved on since leaving Chelsea...  ( Celebrating against his former clubs ?? Bayer and Chelsea)
I did not take note of him in his first season in Chelsea, but I know that he was shit when Chelsea offloaded him to us, and Arteta turned things around with him. He scored again today.

I offloaded Nkunku last week same as Trofo, put Semenyo in his place,
Semenyo ended up being a good choice, he scored the first goal for Bournemouth that led to their 2-3 comeback win against Everton, who had a two goal advantage. If he had not gotten a yellow card early in the game, he should have had more points.  I brought in Mbeumo for Nkunku, and he scored two goals, but just like Semenyo, he picked up an early yellow card.

Vardy was disappointing again; he could not even get the ball. To make things worse, he picked up a yellow card too.

Flekken was heading to pick up more points than he ended up with, but the late South Hampton goal ruined it all.

I was expecting a goal from Smith Rowe against Ipswich, it didn't happen.

I decide to go with the saying "If it's not broken, do not try to fix it" for this game week, I only shipped Isak out for Nicolas Jackson, a goal from Havertz and assisted by Saka might have just helped start the week of good, hopefully there would be another one come the second 45 minutes of the match.

Frustrated that Watkins didn't drop in price, he was at 95% negative since the beginning of the week. I swapped Isak for him and was expecting to get him for 8.9.

I guess we have the common idea of Isak being due to getting tossed, I didn't expect him to drop in value just yet looking at his fixtures.

If he blanks against Leicester, he'll get the drop and I'll lose an additional 0.1 mil. Still feel he's the better option than Isak for the upcoming games though.

Quansah is a different beast, he maybe never gets that first team spot back if Konate now plays well.

Yeah, agreed, but Konate never plays well Grin

I think Sterling would be a hit for Arsenal, I think £6.9m is still quite to much of a risk too go for him, I would have gone for him if he were to be valued for =< £6m, Eddie Nketiah with Crystal Palace could also be another one to look out for, I just think they're still quite too pricey for now.

Hopefully he hits and got us a decent fee before returning to his default Sterling. Chilwell to Manutd/Arsenal in January.  Grin

It is funny how a few days ago on Reddit people were saying that Arteta is not interested in Sterling at all and then he brings him in on deadline day.

I don't see him breaking into the starting XI at all, and definitely they don't buy him unless he somehow recreates his City form.

I'm going to hit the WC after the international break. Had enough
I am still making up my mind on this.

The transfer window officially closes, and the highlight for me is that Sterling is going to become Arsenal's problem to deal with for a while.

No new Centre Striker for Chelsea, so that means Nicolas Jackson is good have with the current Chelsea's run of fixtures

I'm on the same hill with Liverpool Quansah, don't wanna panic sell, I still believe he would play a crucial part when he returns from injury to retain initial price or even more. I have no doubt that Eze would make a huge attacking returns against us so I'm definitely going to keep. I'm getting frustrated. Lol
Quansah is a different beast, he maybe never gets that first team spot back if Konate now plays well. I am also planing on having 3 Liverpool and Quansah would take that valuable spot for me. Salah, Trent, Jota, Robbo all look super valuable.

If Konate sitting on the bench is the only chance of Quansah playing then i don't think he's ever going to have more playing time, he already fumbled in his first big 45 mins.

We have one new player in our pool, welcome back to renato297, he played with us last season but was late to join this one. Considering he just now decided to do so he is probably doing quite well in first 2 GWs. In order to offset this possibility of advantage for renato and any other possible late joiners, icopress and I decided to give him -20 points penalty for joining after GW2. They will be deducted from his total score at the season end.

This seams like fair rule for the future:
Joining after GW1 - 10 points penalty
Joining after GW2 - 20 points penalty
Joining after GW3 - 30 points penalty
GW4 start - pool is officially closed

By the way I have made a 100 USDT side bet with Trofo as well. It was time for someone to challenge him.
Finally someone with a pair on him. Any other takers while you are above me in the rankings?

icopress, is your offer for a side bet still valid? Tongue I wanted to make you an offer as it looked weird to me that you used up your jokers this early. Tongue
Yes (10 mBTC ), I could accept your bet if you agree that your extra points gained while using the triple captain will not be counted (since you offered the bet after I used my triple kaitan and WC).

I made this offer because of seeing that you used up your boosts early. If we don't count my TC points, my bastardy would be in vain. Besides as I have unfortunately been going through a little problematic financial process this year, I can offer a 3 mbtc side bet the most. Tongue If you would also like, we can leave the side bet to next year. The prize for the 1st place in the pool is already quite appealing. Tongue
Okay. I'll take that. I was just thinking that if you subtract points from my TC, you'd be ranked higher than me.  Smiley

I think that you used your TC in the right time. It was unlucky that Haaland scored only 3 goals after starting the match great. However still it is a successful use of TC. I used my TC on Solanke last season and he missed a penalty. Cheesy Thank you for accepting the side bet. By the way I have made a 100 USDT side bet with Trofo as well. I'm currently so looking at TAA for Robertson, I'd save £1m that way, that sure would go along way for me, I'm just still pretty torn in between valuing the free transfer more and going for a more needed change, while I'm looking to avoid players that might be very heavy on international duties as that is another neck breaker on the horizon, I'm sure some wildcard changes will be invalidated once the FPL resume from the international.

------------------------

I had my heart setout on on 2 specific transfers for this week, I made them already I just didn't save them to avoid the usual injury new towards the beginning of the game week, now I can only remember one and I can't seem to find the other one at all  Angry

I actually have Nkunku + Palmer, but only because I didn't have enough FT to ship out Nkunku and I didn't want to be priced out of Palmer. He still hasn't went up, though? Thought he would after that 17-pointer. Well I definitely think he will after getting a brace against Crystal Palace.

Come on Solanke... Again out, but i cant trade him because he is gonna be ready after the international break, is a not so much sense to make a trade to re buy one week after.

Im playing with very low key forwards.

I hope to have a very good week again to clib some position in the leaderboard.

Price faller for Eze fuck..... I'm done
Don't worry he will go back up after he scores 20 points against Chelsea and Madueke gets one pointer. Then everyone will reverse that transfers just to catch another 2 points from Eze and wonder why they don't have some other mid that did well previus week.

Eze was one of the best mids so far, it isn't his fault ref disallowed his regular goal or that his striker ruined the assist by being 2 cm offside. Madueke on the other hand scored 3 goals from almost non existent xg. That RNG usually reverts to mean sooner or later and those chasing past points end up falling behind more and more.
