Making Salah the captain instead of Haaland has caused me to go down to the 5th place. From now on I don't think that I have any chance to become the champion. Developing the right strategy is going to be very important on last 5 game weeks. I think that especially double game weeks and boosts are going to be decisive.
At this point, am just looking at for a best means to let loose Salah although, my hunch tells me he could have something cooking in the few weeks after a terrible return but, perhaps after the DG. Salah has been performing way below average and I had the foresight about this to have released him of my captaincy and picked Cole Palmer. At the moment, he seems to be the magic for the GW haven’t scored a hat trick against Everton within the first half of the game. Am so thrilled with my choices this GW but, not without a couple of bad options in Son, Gabriel and Peps continued selection on resting Foden. It’s a good week nonetheless. 
Palmer is destroying Everton but I don't think that actually helps anyone, except those that gave him the band. All of us have him in the squad but there are few with captain band on him and I am quite sure one of them will be GW winner.

Liverpool's defeat surprised me more. After all, Aston Villa is the 4th team in the Premier League, why don’t they upset the favorites sometimes?

It's a bad week overall. No one saw that Arsenal and Liverpool mess up coming. VVD couldn't keep the cleansheet and had a poor game. Arsenal assets that have given good returns for several gameweeks fell short today. My squad for this GW including a SON captaincy was pretty basic at best. So rather than blame players for the mediocre returns, I will accept it as part of the game.
I have Andersen on the bench for me. Since Foden didn't play, he would get subbed in. To think I preferred VVD to Andersen only for him to get away with a cleansheet while VVD was on the receiving end at anfield.

I finally got a good game from Mitchell - a clean sheet and an assist. Of course I benched him - he was playing against Liverpool.

Gordon had two assist and one goal in the game and played full minutes, Had you not forgotten and then you made Gordon your captain, that would have been good points. Salah blanked today even though he played FT, Nunez blanked, Jota Blanked and Liverpool has lost unexpectedly to Crystal palace at the Anfield. Liverpool obviously did not recover from Atalanta's ass whooping! Good to say Liverpool are out of the race for the EPL title. Now the focus on Manchester City and Arsenal.

It was actually leaked that Foden starts so I brought him in. Took a nice loss on that one. Son case also isn't that clear cut, he has double GW35 and GW37 we will all want him back. I didn't expect you to fall for the Foden leak; I was certain that the Foden news was false, and there was no reason for Pep to risk him when there were capable replacements on the bench. I left him on the bench, but he will be very essential in the future. I'm relieved I finally let go of Maddison; he's not worth it at the moment.

I captained Son, no Haaland, Foden absent again, average for the gw is 26 and I raked in only 15. At this point, I think it's safe to say that I've bottled even the bottlers league.
I had Son and sold him today, even wrote about it a few posts before. It was needed to fund a move of Lascelles to another defender. I took Udogie but placed him on the bench so hopefully no harm was done. The only problem is I took Foden for Son and he did not play in the end. That is what I hate about leaks, they are always correct except when I act on them
My Tottenham assets (Son + Maddison) produced some of the lowest returns I've seen from a duo. Since Maddison got back from injury, he hasn't performed anywhere close to the level he was performing out before his last injury. I said I'd do better this week but tit is what it is.
