Hey guys, I just noticed something odd. In the last superblock, my ARM wallet for some reason didn't receive anything. It has been working fine for weeks, then at 45510, the UTXOWeight dropped to 0 in the pool superblock view. It is listed as unbanked, the task weight is 100%, it had 211 staked with 1101 RAC. I checked exec testvote and I see that the wallet is in the next superblock, but just curious if anyone has an idea how to diagnose what happened? Seems like a one-off behaviour. Here's a copy of the report from the pool superblock view. Thanks!

I noticed some funky values for BiblePay on CoinMarketCap:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/biblepay/
It looks like Lich BiblePay Central Explorer might be reindexing?
https://explorer.biblepay-central.org/

Yes, my Explorer is still indexing. Which is weird, as it does this for 3 days now. It is really slow, but the system is idling a lot. It imports around 1 transaction per second, which might take a long time until it is done, but I can't find a problem. Except that it is slow.

Does anybody has an idea?

Info: I just added http://explorebiblepay.com/ to biblepay-central.
BUT: We should really try to make all explorer HTTPS only. It simply looks way better then plain http for a crypto website Smiley

By the way, http://explorer.biblepay.org:3001/ is stuck, too, for some hours.

Hmm - is the machine reasonably busy? Maybe try renice-ing the index job, and ensuring that you aren't doing a lot of swapping out of the mongodb back and forth? What is the system doing when the index job is idling?

As for the HTTPS - you are probably right, I suppose. I'll add that to my todo list.

https://explorebiblepay.com is now utilizing HTTPS. Yay. Smiley

Light, everytime that I add some new miners to PurePool, it seems that my Ratio (%) is increased artificially and I see how the old miners decrease their numbers of Shares. Probably your pool is increasing the difficulty due to the 150% threshold that was artificially increased due to the new miners just added.
1) How can I see my current difficulty assigned to my workers by your pool?
1) How can I see my ratio? I know that you have hidden this because most of the accounts were in the safe zone (but not mine).
2) How long does it take the % to stabilize after adding new miners?

Thanks in advance.

Alright everyone, for our new website I'm looking for a couple of users that would like to write a short testimonial (1 or 2 sentences) about how they experience writing to our Orphans. Much appreciated!
https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/8fqvj1/how_do_you_experience_writing_to_our_orphans/

Also, I have another Sanctuary for sale. If no-one wants this deal, I'll sell it on an exchange. The BTC raised is for the New Exchange Fund. See: http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=97.msg3284#msg3284

The price is 0.00000038/BBP x 1.550.001 = 0,589 BTC

https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/8fisy4/sanctuary_for_sale_for_the_new_exchange_fund/

And congratulations everyone on the new Android wallet! Very, very nice!

Quoting for visibility. Still looking for testimonials, and I still have a Sanctuary for sale. If I can't sell it next week I'm probably going to sell the BBP on c-cex Smiley

Alright everyone! Last chance to buy a Sanctuary at market price! Tomorrow I'll put everything on c-cex and southXchange.

Also: if anyone wants to write a few words for me about how it's like to write orphans (for the coming new website) I'll be very thankful!

Gdax doesn't charge any withdraw fees. Not sure why you need to use coinbase for anything.

I have not find way to transfer fiat directly to gdax. If you know please let me know.

If you live in the USA and want to convert USD to BTC ... Here's a tip from togo & 616westwarmoth about CoinBase.com / GDAX:

Id recommend Coinbase:  https://www.coinbase.com/

or GDAX (same company as Coinbase but less fees):  https://www.gdax.com/

And buy Bitcoin there and then transfer it to C-CEX:  https://c-cex.com/?p=bbp-btc

616westwarmoth:
I've got trading accounts at five or six places.  The cheapest is GDAX.  The trick is do a bank transfer from your US bank to the Coinbase account.  It will take about a week (or did the last time I tried) but zero fees.  The go to GDAX, log in there with your Coinbase credentials, then do a transfer from Coinbase->GDAX.  No fees.  Then place a limit order for BTC, if it fills then no fees.  Then transfer to your C-Cex wallet, and place your buy order for BBP.  It's the cheapest way to do it, but does take some time.

I do the same thing, and it works well. To go a bit faster I sometimes send ltc from my ledger directly to gdax to convert to btc, but if usd is involved, coinbase -> gdax -> usd/btc -> c-cex -> btc/bbp is how I do it.  Convoluted and time consuming, but cheap as you can get.

I definitely don't want to be accused of FUD here, but I want to encourage everyone to consider doing some trading on C-CEX this week.
Since they have the 30-day volume threshold, and we currently have a pretty small base, this is something we need to watch closely. To stay listed, we need to maintain a 30-day average of 0.5 BTC/day.

CURRENTLY, that isn't a problem - but it's not trending in the right direction.

Here are our C-CEX volume averages:

30-day: 0.693027 BTC/day
(Since registration re-open, or a 21-day average): 0.843148 BTC/day

Now both of those are great. We're in good shape there....however, look at the last 7 completed days.

7-day: 0.353671 BTC/day

That's not good at all. We've got to get the volume higher. There's probably enough sell activity right now (my opinion, you can disagree), but we need more buying to stay active. In my mind, we need to think pretty hard about how we encourage outsiders to start buying - this is a potential problem that we only have 3 weeks or so to stay ahead of.

I think Yuri, the c-cex.com exchange owner is a decent guy and he likes that Biblepay is a charity coin and for that reason won't delist us.  But I do think getting volume higher is part of the solution to getting the interest of other exchanges.  Exchanges like volume because that means revenue for them.  The more revenue per the amount of maintenance they have to perform on a coin, the more they make.  More liquidity is good for everybody.

Hey Jaap, what's the current status on the new exchange fund? I'm thinking that once we get another exchange up and running, volume everywhere should increase significantly as people play the arbitrage game. That might be a good answer to things. I know you had a new sanc for sale, but I have no clue right now (and it may be available and I've just lost the thread) how far away we are from being able to turn an exchange on. Is it one sanc? 5? Not sure because we haven't picked an exchange?

Sorry if I'm asking questions we have answers to somewhere...best I could find was this thread:
https://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=97.0

But I couldn't understand from there if things were definitive enough to say "oh yeah, we get this 1.5M BBP and we'll enable exchange 7 days later"

I only started it last month, when I sold 1.5M BBP. I have 1.55M BBP this month, but I haven't sold it yet. You can track the fund here:
https://blockchain.info/address/3AojspQgpSSDdPJJANj4UtSBFUZy8YdduT

So it's only your BTC on there as of yet :p

Hey Jaap
Buying crypto is a real pain for me.
I have to jump through multiple hoops to get the BTC.
Do you have a Paypal address and I'll send $100
Regards
PM

I know that you post here often, and I'm really sorry, but I'm going to decline for now, because I've heard a lot of bad things about Paypal+crypto and chargebacks. I think you can actually pay with Paypal on southXchange, you could look into that perhaps?

I understand what you are saying
FYI: southXchange stopped accepting Paypal - probably for the same reasons

I'll look into transferring some cash (via a banktransfer) to one of my accts - then I'll send on the BTC equivalent.

Have to try and get some movement on BBP - give back a little to try and help it grow.
Growth will only come through numbers and numbers won't just turn up at the gate.......

Well done on your efforts

Unfortunately they removed that functionality, but reportedly they will soon have another easy solution for fiat deposits/withdrawals.

It's true that we're still exploring multiple possibilities. I would personally actually like to get listed on cryptobridge, but they haven't responded yet.

If anyone has any input/connections concerning exchanges, please post here: https://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=97.30

Thanks Jaap. Good to understand where we're at! Hopefully between you, me, and Togo, they respond to SOMEBODY.

Thanks, Jaap - that's what I thought.

To give a little clarity, I don't need another masternode myself (at least, not particularly). But let's say that in the interest of the community, I was willing/ready to complete this transaction as well. At that point, we'd then have about 1 BTC, right?

That's good, but it doesn't sound like we are at a step to say "as soon as we have 1 BTC we'll send it to and they will list." Is it true that we're still exploring which exchange to spend the money on, as well as raising funds?
