He isn't wrong in his sense, if the cryptocurrency is to have a future, they should be able to create an environment of trust between themselves and the authorities.

I understand where he is coming from and what he is trying to say but let's not forget that there are so many good things that can be done with cryptos. Saying cryptos are used by criminals takes away from it how much of a revolutionary invention it really is. Any kind of currency can be used for criminal activities, cash is used by all of the criminals anyway.
I can neither confirm nor deny that what he says was true. Anyone has the right to comment on things and most of the time, people of influence like Bill Gates provide a comment that was based on research. I was thinking that his comment will be on how he view crypto. He was a rich guy and doesn't need to take risk on crypto. With all the money that he has, we can't force him to like crypto so as everyone else.

Seems like Bill Gates is to some degree removed from the use example of most coins and tokens. So, think less about who is behind this, invest in yourself and your development and while there is an opportunity - earn.

Crptocurrency is terrible to those people who know nothing about this because of the risk. Bill Gates may right anyway we have our own assumption and if you think you are adequately certain with this by then let everything out after each one of those immense people will use bitcoin soon and propel their own specific coins.
No, in my opinion cryptocurrency is good, anonymous payments, you can pay anything even a coconut tree in Africa or where it is there , no taxes and VAT , all for a person ! And it's safe !

Most of these investors oversees huge charity contributions etc.
For the sake of humanity, KYC and other minor regulatory hurdles should be well embraced.
When such gets achieved, the outside world will take us more seriously and invest strongly in the system.
At that point; proceeds of fund already invested in the system will also start paying off.

If that's what Bill G said well that's is own take on it, one thing I know about this rich men is that they always want you to be successful but not in a easy and simple way, cause if you look at things in cryptocurrency people get rich suddenly and some goes broke at the same time. Maybe Bill G has once try crypto and it might be a turn down for him, which means only who benefits from cryptocurrency call it good way to make it in life while those who fails on the long run never call it good.

I think bill gates is right, but for now I think Cryptocurrency is still good for investment because the profit gained from investing in Cryptocurrency is still big.
He didnt care about peoples who want use great means of payment
not only is bill gates, but many who do not support the existence of crypto. If I were to be stoic course with such a response. Because all things there must be a supportive and there will always be haters.
