Bill gates says a lot of things. At one time he did not believe that with the help of online stores you can earn and get rich. You know the richest man on earth? - no? - Google it and it'll be clear. Gates isn't always right.
I heard about this news a few month ago, and i also heard in youtube that published a few years ago which in that youtube video Bill gates said crypto is futures of money . And some people said this is only price manipulation, when people like Bill gates said anything about crypto bad or good will be make impact with the price. But in my opinion many country already regulated crypto so they will have solution how to anticipate money laundry in crypto market.
everyone has their respective thoughts, it is the thought of bill gates will certainly be different thoughts with me or with you. we must accept the opinions of others, there is no harm in opinion. People already know what's right and wrong, so it's up to them to stay in the crypto or not.
If someone people think that crypto has bad future or can increase the money laundring activities, it depend how they look from their perspective. But for me, i think cryptocurrency will be bring us to the bright and better future. It depend how we can handle it. I never think use crypto currency for money laundring, earn money for terrorist or something that can harmfull people. Because of that i think crypto is usefull, that we can earn many advantages from that, like easy and simple transaction, the value is higher rather than our nation's currency and of course cashless.

He meant it in the sense of cryptocoins that 90% of the icos out there is bad with no substantial reasons for the coins to exists , the technology of distributed ledgers and blockchains definitely isn't bad
maybe the reason behind that opinion of him is that being decentralized on this blockchain technology politician and those people who have the illegal financial transaction can used this kind of technology but once the government can control the identity of people who using this then what gates said will become void he's just giving his insight because of what is happening.

This person deserves to be respected but it is a man of another era, perhaps he is to some extent right but globally he is mistaken.
It doesn't matter what bill gates thinks about cryptocurrencies. The main thing is that the funds and investors from wall street respond well to the cryptocurrency.
