Do you know, that despite a donation, Binance is launching crypto card for Ukrainian refugees ? I cant tell what will be differences between process of obtaining current card and refugee card, but I hope it wont be complicated or will have limitations, compared to a regular card. I suppose, KYC procedure might be simpler. I am sure refugees not going to be released from KYC, because some will use it for cheating or in cashing out schemes.

I'm wondering where exactly all those donations are going? Companies are donating millions and who exactly receive all those millions? I don't think that all donations are reaching those who needs them.

Where do you think these donation funds are going? For sure they are going to the Ukraine governments. The destruction in the UKraine is massive as most of the money is spent on the people and health. There is no development / repair of the buildings etc has started yet.
You can keep track of the Binance charity fund here.

I really appreciate the Binance CEO's decision on humanitarian aid to help the crisis the Ukrainian people are currently experiencing, it is a hopeful aid for any country going through a financial crisis especially regarding humanity, but of course it is possible that some observers think that this could affect competition between the CEO of Binance and CEO of Ethereum.

I don't expect this donation to be considered war aid by the Ukrainian government, it's humanitarian aid so Russia won't think Binance is funding the war. After all, crypto has become something meaningful here and we should be proud of function.
Some do even make out some criticism that this move was just a marketing or some boost up for the companies exposure or popularity which is totally bullshit but somewhat there are some points
with those presumptions but if we do look up on the history about charitable acts made by Binance then we could really say that this is something not in related with those kind of behind the curtain
intents which some people do really mind off. These kind of humanitarian kind of steps are really appreciable and commendable considering on the amount that they've been giving out
which is on that generous side.

Binance have done good to both the countries. To Ukraine it have donated good amount for the immediate needs of the people. When it comes to Russia, a small group of people support war whereas the majority are against war. Considering this Binance haven't stopped the services from Russia.

Today one of the crypto trading platform Currency.com have stopped its services for Russia following the invasion of Ukraine causing violence and disorder. Russian residents won't be able to have access to the services.

It's not that difficult to do this, some exchanges with minorities or even the elite class to accompany what Binance is doing, humanitarian actions in the name of caring.
It is not the difficulty but the gesture of giving for a cause and that too $10 million is a huge number by any means. Personally i am not a huge fan of Changpeng Zhao but i liked what he did with the support to Ukraine.

I saw several media broadcasts of dry food and some other needs. Moreover What is going on that we only understand on the basis of togetherness that must be helped.between russia and ukraine i am sure the future will be united
No idea, what you are talking about here. How do you think Russia and Ukraine be united when they are firing at each other, a magical peace talk will arise and all the people that lost their loved ones will be waking up all of a sudden  Roll Eyes.

~
We won't seek revenge and won't invade Russia to inflict similar pain upon them. Because we aim to remain humans, not to lose our own humanity over all this. But we won't be friends and won't be united in anything with Russia, certainly not for decades to come.
Hope you are doing well and i totally understand and respect this.

I am not sure if this is a good thing or just a PR. They literally had a funding round for 150 million dollars to recover the funds lost for Axie, imagine a place that could raise that much money. Even if they do like 5% of all their trading fee income going to Ukraine, they would have raised more than 10 million dollars for sure.

I am not saying that they donated a little, of course they donated a good amount and kudos to them, however we all know they would have donated a lot more if given the chance. If it was pure love for Ukraine and sympathy for what they are going through then 10 million dollars is as good as it gets, even 100 bucks is a lot, it means they want to share their pain, but if it was for marketing then it was a shady move.

At time like this i am not so much thinking profits either. Sure, i could have made a ton by shorting but making money out of a war just seemed too dirty for my taste.

This sounds very funny. You are a trader and you see an opportunity to trade into profit and you are not taking it because you believe we are in a war? Am laughing at that. Your sympathy is out of its place but it is you opinion anyway. But do you realize that anytime you make profit from trading that you are making someone else sorrowful because they have to lose for you to profit, whether in a war or not? It will be best to trade, make profit and then donate the profit to help support those in war torn Ukraine.
He less empathy about war just caring with profitable only because war invasion made oil price pump drastically and several commodity have increase to higher level value. I think this war have give bad impact for both citizen actually Ukraine, they most shock what happen right now and have away from their land for getting save from Russian soldier. I think should stop this war and better with Ukraine president stop joining on NATO will make war can't stopping, I see on television news Russia president just ask to Ukraine president stop communicating with NATO.

I'm sorry, but are you saying you're sure that the future of Russia and Ukraine will be united? As a Ukrainian (and actually one of the more calm and forgiving ones), I can assure you that the future will not be united. If it were just a war that Russia led roughly in accordance with the rules of war (targeting military targets, ensuring people on temporarily occupied territories receive food, medicine and are safe, etc.), it would be one thing. We'd still fight and still aim to win the war, but some sympathy toward Russian citizens was potentially out there. But after the Bucha massacre, after several big and many small seriously destroyed cities, after lots of cases of rape and torture, and after Mariupol, it is not possible to be united, even if the government in Russia changes radically. It is a genocide of our nation, and genocide is not something after which you easily become friends with those who committed it and those who didn't stop it from happening.
We won't seek revenge and won't invade Russia to inflict similar pain upon them. Because we aim to remain humans, not to lose our own humanity over all this. But we won't be friends and won't be united in anything with Russia, certainly not for decades to come.
I realize, and am sorry for what you are feeling right now, about the cruelty, injustice, and what happened in the past, supply needs and what must be addressed. I just hope that nothing inhumane happens again. The exchange that helped really made us all feel, from a morality point of view. You definitely want to live comfortably in your country and I always pray, for some distribution of aid maybe after this action there will be more who donate the day after tomorrow and in the future. And that's the thing which is positive for me.

Definitely great move of binance cz, as they are always trustworthy & now showing humanities by helping ukranians and this helps to make bitcoin & whole crypto market get promoted before whole world along with his organisation.
I saw Buterin tweets, he is Against this war and sharing tweets and ask for help for ukranians. Currently i notice, 245.03 btc fund raised by binance which is around worth $10M, for their another charity project for " Humanity First - Ukraine Emergency". Hope all those fund will use perfectly as expected
Sure, it will definitely share perfectly to the citizens of Ukraine, since binance team are the one  that donated the $10m to help Ukraine government for the hardship they are going through in the country. I believe their president will make sure the money affect everyone in the country, so that it will make some youths to have more interest on bitcoin and binance in the country. With this help Ukraine government has gotten from decentralized team, it will make them to believe decentralized currency is real and it's good for every country to make it legalized so that they will feel more impact about cryptocurrency in their land.

At this point from someone living close to all this, i don't like to think this as PR move for greasing any politicians positive views on crypto. But act of kindness and something that's right thing to do. At time like this i am not so much thinking profits either. I have the same perspective, mate. I believe all of these are just act of kindness and generosity for those people who are affected by the war between Russia and Ukraine. This is a good initiative done by Binance because that's a hefty amount and can really help buy the things needed for those people residing in the war zone or anywhere near it.

In addition, this will be of great benefit to rebuilt the houses and the city itself once all of these conflicts are over. It can be used to rebuilt the damaged and broken shelters and can power the evacuation sites while the war is still happening. Hopefully, this will soon be over and peace will prevail in the end.

The Binance Charity Foundation is an organization that donated $10 million to support humanitarian efforts to improve the situation of Ukrainians in the midst of the conflict.
In addition, to coordinate the assistance of third parties who also wish to donate, Binance launched a crowdfunding initiative program called the “Humanity First Ukraine Emergency Relief Fund”.
Under this program, anyone can put a portion of their crypto funds into this initiative.

Obviously this is one of the aids that is managed well and is appropriate and on target, because every aid has a very good purpose, but sometimes it is misused and does not reach its intended target. Hopefully this will encourage other regulations to be able to participate because this conflict is clearly detrimental to civilians who cannot avoid the target of war.

I think Binance will participant on many donation kinds at the future and will be most active exchange market help around the world. I think have to get impact with donation from Binance how some country available for using Binance on their country and give legal assets as Binance for exchange platform.

Binance is setting an example for other major exchanges and crypto projects, they have been doing this corporate social responsibility (CSR) from long time and this is what makes them standout amongst other competitors. Not only Binance is helping the right moment but also setting example that crypto can be handy and best medium to help during crisis and this bring entire crypto domain to mainstream, even those who were against crypto and trying to ban it got a lesson that there are positive side of crypto as well which will only make this world a better place. Entire crypto ecosystem should learn from Binance on this.

Binance is the number no 1 exchange in the world and they can afford this much amount of donation as they are earning a lot of money.. Other exchanges may not donate the same amount of money but yes, this action of binance will set the trend and i hope the other crypto currencies exchanges will follow the same direction in their own capacity.

They are on neutral phase which they had made out some $10 Million donation to UK but also they hadnt imposed any blocking on Russian users either into their platform which
means that they are really looking on each other sides without stepping neither both countries which is something that wise.

They wouldnt be facing some sort of problems because of bad decisions.
