only mentally ill people want chaos, everyone wants to live peacefully and without tension. binance is very generous in making donations with that much money, hopefully, it will be useful for war victims. Donation fundraising or allocation is not too hard. Binance can use their budget for donation and it will be done quickly. Donation fundraising can hit target quickly too. Unfortunately, with the escalating war, lots of damages on infrastructures for transportations, etc. in Ukraine and also risk of mistakenly damages by the war from both sides, donation distributions by any mean would be difficult and can not be done too soon.

Binance and some big exchanges are doing good things to help Ukrainians as well as to wisely advertise their exchanges to people over the world.

Well, Im excited with the movement of Binance and their supporting fund for Ukraine. We all know this is about the humanitarian, but the real question is. Why all people didn't care when Palestine is bombed by Israel. They killed many people out there, from old to baby. They destroy many mosques and houses even the hospital. Why nobody cares about it? PPB make an urgent meeting to find solution for Russia and Ukraine, but They dont care with Palestine and others Islamic countries.

Let us not compare our corrupt government to theirs because the gap is too far away. Next time if you know that your local officials are corrupt, you should have handed the money directly on the people that need it.

I am happy that the exchange Binance and Vitalik is giving humanitarian attention and donations in solidarity with Ukraine, also I am concerned about the tensions of the Russia-Ukraine war because many people in Ukraine have to take shelter in subway stations all day out of fear and they hardly ever see the sun.

But we also see the bloodshed that took place in Palestine in the eternal war without end, Do they also deserve donations and attention from important people of the crypto community, regardless of differences in religion, ethnicity, and nationality.

Crypto definitely has it's place in wartime as it bypasses traditional banking systems and currencies, however, when there aren't many options to turn that crypto into real-life things (food, etc..) then it, unfortunately, falls short. This is not the case here, Binance is donating in dollars and that will go a long way, but it does urge everyone to push for more crypto acceptance and options in peacetime because those options will have to function in the event of war. Anyway, a great initiative from the Binance leadership.

It's interesting to see that a business led by a Chinese man extended their support to Ukraine! The matter of fact is, China is just as same as Russia. People from Taiwan and Hong Kong knows that as they are being ruled by Chinese government for the benefit of the mainland China. I wonder if CZ will come out and offer a similar type of donation in future if China engages into a full-scale war with Taiwan. Also it's important to note that China is one of the closest allies of Russia. So CZ must have given enough thought before announcing this donation because it will not make China very happy and CZ may never be able to enter China if Chinese government takes this donation seriously.

No one wants war! But I am happy to see finally EU has decided to throw Russia out of the Swift network and also putting a ban on Russian Oligarchs who supplies money to Putin.

At this time it's not important that crypto will gain good promotion with these helping and Binance would be more popular in the market as it is already but the fact that providing financial support to Ukrainian government for defence and fulfilling basic amenities of the people residing there as it's really tough time for them.It is good to see people, governments,crypto donations are coming in their support and they need it at this time.So nice gesture by CZ by giving out even it benefits him later on.

It's a good example but again the fund is central and people can't check how the donation money is used, I was expecting a multi-signature address but what is done is the database management by binance.charity/

Cryptocurrencies have many uses, and it is good that helping people is one of them. times is changing.

this will be the concern here because even that this is a support to the Ukrainian government yet this must be publicized and should be in knowledge of every people in Ukraine because in the end of war the funds must be spent wisely and not to he on Hold of some people in Upper position .

I've watched an interview on Buterin days ago and there was a passing question regarding Russia's incursion of Ukraine. I cannot remember Vitalik's exact words but in general he wasn't in favor of it.

It feels great that Bitcoin has now taken a different image this time. For sure the public's perception of Bitcoin will now be gradually changed with it being more and more used in times of crisis, with the huge Bitcoin donation to the Canadian truckers to the Ukrainian fight for freedom and its humanitarian struggles.
