Binance has been doing helping people so many times, their charity is growing uphill and gaining more support. And the way Binance took this is likely giving them a positive view on how they care not only for their reputation and profits but also they care the lives of their clients/users. What they do is a big help for the Ukrainians and I hope the others can do the same. But yes, we do hope the war will stop and to add no more on the casualties and injuries, plus the trauma.

I saw him (CZ) being interviewed on television and the news anchors were giving him a hard time about not cutting off support for Russian users. CZ was clear that no companies are cutting off services to Russian citizens (Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) so why would he? I actually like that he was considering the situation that many Russian citizens find themselves in and was making it clear that he views Russian citizens and Russian politicians separately. He also made it clear that nobody is anonymously trading on his platform (debatable) and that KYC is implemented for all users. I don't think he intends to help Russia evade sanctions with his platform, but he does want to help citizens safeguard their wealth, which I think is admirable.

I'm not very focused right now, but I think I didn't find a topic about this. Forgive me if it was already posted. Binance announced on Twitter that they're donating $10 million to express their support with Ukraine. They are now gathering donations for the Ukraine Emergency Relief Fund here. The usage of cryptocurrencies and crypto businesses are starting to become relevant in the ongoing Russian invasion. Fewer and fewer areas are holding their apolitical stance, even if they used to be apolitical before. I wonder who will be next. It's interesting how Buterin will react, given that he's originally from Russia.
It shows how generous Binance is from the very beginning. They’re the biggest and most popular cryptocurrency exchange in the world. Despite the setbacks that Binance weathered last year on regulatory concerns from UK, Singapore, etc., they still manage to find ways. Now that he found a new home in Dubai where it is one of the most crypto friendliest countries,he finally have lesser headaches than he was last year.

A good humanitarian initiative from Binance, it is good to see that cryptocurrencies have a big role in this conflict between Russia and Ukraine, it is good to know that these donations made by Binance are spent to help the injured and needy to help in this ugly war, unfortunately the poor people are often They are the victims of these wars that politicians are fighting to achieve some of the interests they seek to achieve. It can't be simply denied, the reason for this war is clear, namely the military threat between the former main actors of the second world war, namely Russia X NATO, where the condition of Ukraine is only a place for power struggles of the two camps. However, Ukraine's political conditions are not mutually beneficial, both of them are at risk of either choosing to approach Russia or to NATO. However, the damage would be less if Ukraine took a neutral stance. Why should you wake up a sleeping lion and its impact? Russia does not hesitate to activate its nuclear arsenal to end the existing war.

Binance always keeps in bringing good deeds here in crypto world, I cannot remember all the deeds they do from the past.
What i Only remember is the donation they gave when there is a Wild Fire in US, and also when there is a really Bad typhoon here in my country .
They keep proving how great they are in helping people .

In a time like this, you can use cryptocurrencies more swiftly than any other payment method. True, now there are even a lot of people claiming humanitarian aid to Ukraine but on the other hand there is no comprehensive explanation of how the donations will be used.
I actually really support this action but it would be very bad if there are some parties who do this for their personal interests. because it is certain that someone will use this for personal purposes which will tarnish the donation

It's a good example but again the fund is central and people can't check how the donation money is used, I was expecting a multi-signature address but what is done is the database management by binance.charity/

What a nice gesture by Binance.
My concern is how central the fund is, if a government can give an order to freeze an individual's account and it will be done, how sure are we that such order cannot be made towards the central charity fund.
Meanwhile, a time like this is when to prove the government wrong of their allegations against cryptocurrency. This is a tme the whole world will wish they have a single currency.
The value of Russia fiat is depreciating daily, favoured are those who are into crypto in the country.
I was very excited to see a member of this forum change his chip mixer campaign address to support Ukraine @Dave.

This is so heart warming. Binance is really a great help for all Ukranian people. It can be said that there is no greater pleasure in life than to find the capacity and willingness to help others. It will not only gives you a great satisfaction and fullfillment, but you will also find that when you are in situation( like what Ukranian have experienced). It says that whenever you may need a helping hand, others will be there for you.

Russian people do not want war.
Ukranian people do not want war.
People from Belarus do not want war.
Therefore at the end of the day we have to understand that it's the sick political situation that makes everything worse for people that they end up in a horrible situation. I had to run from Ukraine 3 days back from Ivano frankivsk and stand on the border for hours before they let me in with my 2 cats. What Russia is doing is horrible. All my savings, my house that I rent everything is now gone. I do hope people continue to make sure gracious donations because Ukraine does need it. NATO is not going to help and WW3 can be there any moment, I literally do not know what's going to happen now.

:)Wow such a horrible experience, there is never gain in war and as I have always said it is better to negotiate war is not a good experience and the world is not ready for WW3 at the moment I know this Ukraine and Russia battle is all political and have to do with the alliance, NATO should sign Ukraine to become a member so as to enjoy the 100% support needed to push the fight through because this is an invasion and Russia may not back down. I don't think it is a question of who donated first but about the overall generosity of the action by Binance and every other institution or individuals that are donating to help the country and by the way, 1000 token of what? 1000 BTC or ETH or what? you never specify. It's really sad to see the condition of Ukraine, because after all the war will have a bad impact on the people, many losses from various fields. lucky people like binance and ftx have a sense of humanity so they can ease the burden on the affected population. I hope other exchanges or projects in cryptocurrency can follow the same thing, because we are in the crypto world

I hope other exchanges will soon join hands with Binance to donate to charity to help Ukraine get through this terrible time. What a Good deed from Binance team donating this Amount as the Ukraine government needed this help these days.
But is it safe to send to that address? would that be collective and will really help the people in effect and not only the government people?

The goal on the site is $20,018,837.15 looks like Binance will donate 10 million but to deliver the money they are looking to get another $10M as donations. They already get $5M but they haven't delivered anything. If they really want to help they should donate the $10M and stop asking for donations. This is a tricky move while they use the war for marketing.
Well, Im excited with the movement of Binance and their supporting fund for Ukraine. We all know this is about the humanitarian, but the real question is. Why all people didn't care when Palestine is bombed by Israel. They killed many people out there, from old to baby. They destroy many mosques and houses even the hospital. Why nobody cares about it? PPB make an urgent meeting to find solution for Russia and Ukraine, but They dont care with Palestine and others Islamic countries.
and now this recent war where everyone do really knows.We know that Binance is really having that behavior not only on these times but also in other past situations as well.
