I'm still holding and believing in BitBay, but the ICO price was 300, who is selling at 100 and why?
Either people lost trust and rather sell at loss then maybe even more loss.

Or Big whale suppressing the market.

Anyway I have bought @ ICO but I am not selling.

I do my research and I use common sense so I hodling and ill be damned to seel at an loss lol.

I agree and I don't want to sell too below ICO price.

Hi Everyone

Just a quick thanks for everyone keeping a civil tone and helping out.You may have noticed the fud volume is down: this is due to a change in our routines for modding the thread. We will continue to run a tight ship on this. People who wish to fud bay have a good selection of arenas for that: this thread will not be one of them.

In other news, David is finishing up a new build of the wallet that addresses some of the hitches in the sending of contracts, this should be posted in the next 24 hours. Thanks to Unusualfacts and the other community members who have been part of the bug hunting and dialogue with David.

NOT FUD! FACTS!
BitBay Team, you should do something about the OP

The OP should be rewritten in a more cleaner manner.

- Important information should be posted at the top of the OP, like the new website for example: http://thebitbay.net which looks awesome btw. It is hard to find the new website info this thread.
- A smaller logo
- useless print screens, for example the block explorer print screen https://chainz.cryptoid.info, is taking lots of space and it's really useless
- download should be moved at the top, under more important information like coin specs (supply, tech, etc)

Always write the things by their importance:

1. Information (Website, facebook, twitter)
2. Coin tech specs
3. Download links
4. About
5. FAQ
6. Explained tech (decentralized exchange, smart contracts, etc)
7. ICO
8. Media coverage

How would you have run things better?  I mean, this is a genuine question. ICOs are relatively new so where would you work out the kinks. Or is it that you have a fundamental problem with ICO's in general. And if that's the case then what would be better alternatives?

I'm out of Bay and I won't rebuy. This downrend is effect of expensive ico and lack of pr.

That's the advantage of an IPO (if you're on the issuing side).

You are insulated from the effects of 'dumping'. The risk is transferred to the investors.

Good if you can get it  Wink

Please do not make this my problem. - No-one in this discussion has yet to successfully produce a bayhalo contract, its not just me.

and no. it doesnt fill a bitmessage automatically under the receive tab. "YOUR BITMESSAGE ADDRESS:=BLANK" is this something that you guys are seeing from a old bit/black halo install the rest of us haven't done?

Ive never tried sending to a bitmessage address as I never found out the address of either/other client.

When I just tried sending to a bitmessage address i got a "Your return address is not loaded" pop up and it doesnt go thru. Not that I know the bimessage of the other client, Im just pulling one from the bitmessage client.

Since I had no bitmessage addresses, I setup 2 different gmail accounts. Both clients passed the email test - you say run it encrypted which is how i have it set.

It just hangs there pending and never shows up in the other client when trying to send between 2 email setups.

Screenshots will be posted. - I hope this info will be helpful in trying to figure out why some of us are having problems.

Ahhh OK you have an issue i have seen on some computers. BitMHalo is not working on your computer. It runs bitmessage and Halo.

Can you do a teamview with me some time so I can see why that subprocess doesnt work for you? PM me please.

I was having that issue too and I already posted what worked for me.

Close all Bitbay process & wallet
Go to C>Program Files>BitBay
Copy libeay32.dll
Go to C>Bitbay
Paste

Open new Bitbay Client and wait for 5-10 minutes.
Go to Receive tabs and there you'll have your bitmessage address
No more error regarding BitHalo not responding.

What is strange is that i already have Libeay32 in the installer. Im not sure why my version doesnt work for them.

Hi Everyone

There was a post with some .dll links that was moderated. Generally it is a very bad idea to post / download any wallet related links. Too much chance for security related problems.

All approved Bay downloads will be either in the OP or on www.thebitbay.net

Click on anything else at your own risk.

Thanks

The BitBay Team

Yes you should always Post this warning when posting new download links etc since I saw a couple of different download links already.

And offcourse delete those.

If this is self moderated, I would advise the moderator to delete all the childish argumentative posts

If some of you really think a pump or a price increase can happen over night lol... Good investors are able to hold even if they go red.

Everybody's writing 'I bought 2 mil', 'Just did another 3 BTC', 'I bought 5.5 mil'; but price is still going down... Why don't write when you sell guys?  Roll Eyes

I guess these are early sellers who collected from 80-85 sat and sold at 120-125 sat. 0,4 BTC profit if they've bought 1 million, well done! OK now just think about selling at 300 sat in a month, you can make more than 2 BTC profit! Wink

So KEEP your BAY, TODAY! We'll see the highest highs!

it didn't sell 1 bitbay at all!
i only accumulate and my bays are off the exchanges staking nicely
whoever is selling it aint me all i know is i have shitloads of bays and who knows maybe i will sell in 2015 (at the right price off course)
for now i am awaiting for Marketplace i like trading but i don't like eBay (i don't need to write down why do i?) so Go Bitbay

I don't think the Mac wallet is updated.

It doesn't have a contracts tab.

It's still the same version, waiting impatiently too  Roll Eyes
