Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending
I was waiting until my newest site was closer to being finished but now that we've finally broken through this barrier, I figured now is a good time to donate another BTC on behalf of Searching For Satoshi.

Rassah, I've sent one bitcoin for this particular charity and am ready to send more when the wallet is ready for the next.

Bruno, please add Searching For Satoshi to my list of for-profit endeavors willing to donate at least one BTC per charity.

I've added you to the both list, edd. Please let me know which account I should credited that 1 BTC to. Thanks, bud.

~Bruno~

I'm not sure what your request means, Bruno. I believe I've previously sent one BTC for each of my sites to the original wallet (1BTC1oo1J3MEt5SFj74ZBcF2Mk97Aah4ac) and just sent one to represent SearchingForSatoshi.com. Once we're ready to begin collecting for the next charity, I'll be happy to send another BTC for each of my pledged sites.

Got it! Will update the list, again. Thanks, edd, for the clarification.

Bruno, did you give 100 BTC to Group B Strep International?

No, we're still fighting about it  Grin

What's the fight? That's a damn good cause. Rassah, please PM me when you send the coin so I can send my donation for the next charity. Thx

Thank you kindly, phelix for honoring your pledge. I guess it's safe to assume it passed your vicissitude litmus test.  Wink

Great news!  Let's get them the 100 BTC + Huh BTC from busting heads to them as soon as we can.  Once this first one is sent I will send my next donation into the pool for the next charity!  Great work!

We can all thank joshbb for this, and to think it all started with this post of his: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.789288

Thank you, Rassah. I'm taxing my memory if you've mentioned that before. I'm doing a little house cleaning now, hence the find.

Somebody donated 184.1995 BTC yesterday  Shocked
I would assume that that's not supposed to all go to one charity. Bruno? Any PMs about this?

They are not. I was contacted by the person donating them, and he wished to remain anonymous.

Though I'm NOT going to do this Mathew-style, dragging it out for two month before finally getting it sent out  Grin

No prob, though you stole my thunder with that clarification line at the end of your post. That's where I was going next. Thanks, Rassah.

Believe it or not, I can build this, though this one is not one of my creations. I already have the wolf.

You are 100% correct, Rassah. Had my head up my ass for a sec. Comcast was up, down, up, etc., when I tried to get on top of this issue when it first came to light. That said, 101.854 BTC in the first pool is close enough, therefore give that total amount. After that's done, we'll work on getting the second pool funded to 100 BTC.

~Bruno~

Sure you don't want me to bust some heads tomorrow? (it's late so I need to get to bed). I'll send out some direct messages, and maybe it'll go up a bit. I know some of the people on the list will definitely be up for sparing 1BTC as promised.

Figure of speech! Only hashing out a couple minor details before we send the first issue to the printer.  Grin

Although I would love to see a button on their donation page, but that's not a deal breaker. I suggest the same size as their PayPal one, and pay close attention to their color scheme on their website. Orange may that be a good choice in this case. They can implement it after they receive their first lump sum.

As it stands right now, and I'll already mentioned, Bitcoin 100 is in position to honor 4-5 non-profit organizations at 100 BTC each.

~Bruno~

That's not entirely true, sinc eht reason the wallet is so big is largely due to come people pledging and donating a lot at the same time, but only wising a part of their pledge to go per charity. For example, Zhoutong has sent 100BTC, CryptoXChange sent 50, and an anonymour donor has sent 184BTC, but each only wished to pledge 10, 1, and 10 BTC per charity respectively. (I didn't move their donations to separate addresses because they didn't request it, and it's easier for me to track them all together) I don't think tose people want to fund entire 100BTC charity pledges singlehandedly. Without the people I mentioned who have yet to honor their pledges, we actually have 101.854 BTC ready to donate right now. After that, the next round will probably be around 40BTC, unless we get people honoring again right away.
