I am sorry that I did not get back to you sooner. At this time, we are going to continue collecting donations as we always have. We appreciate the offer and information and if we need your services in the future, I will be sure to contact you. Thank you.

Nicole

Guess not much more I can do with that one (replied with a, "Sorry to hear that. Thank you for letting us know.")

So sorry to hear that, Rassah. And to think those are your friends. No worry! We at BitcoinTalk will remain loyal to you through thick and thin. Perhaps some day we'll get a free ride on your train.  Wink

I noticed in blockexpolorer that some folks have donated to the pool as of late. I've no idea who. Kluge PM'd me with another pledge (less than 1 BITC), but going to PM Ben back to make sure it wasn't one of those deposits.

Hard times. We just need to keep trying, eventually we'll run out of bad luck. I'm launching a major Finnish Bitcoin portal (the first of its kind) in April, it will have a wide variety of services not only for Bitcoin users but also merchants and charities. We need to explore possibilities of a partnership between Bitcoin 100 and my site. My site will offer payment system services so that could work.

Please keep us abreast, Technomage, letting us know when you're finished with that Finnish project.

have registered bitcoin100.bit and pointed it to the ip of bitcoin100.org

to make it work you would have to add it as an external ip with your web hoster.

i will send the domain to any namecoin address phin tells me.

I'm going to need input from the community on this issue. It's slightly over my head, but I don't want us to miss out on an opportunity.

We could all send emails saying, "I wish to give to your worthy cause and I don't wish for any of my donation to go to a third party like PayPal, but I couldn't find your bitcoin address anywhere."

Good idea. Rassah, what's the address?

Not my idea. That was Edd. Not sure if doing that right now would be a good idea, since it'll look like spamming.

This is probably a good habit for all of us to get into whenever coming across a worthwhile charity.

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.
I say we don't pester them it only makes us look bad.  There are plenty of more fish in the sea.  I am working a couple of smaller charities - will let you know.

I'm perplexed, phelix. Give me some more info so that I can properly act on this. Feel free to PM me, also. Thanks, bud.

Seriously, there is 266 BTC in the first wallet. I can't believe we still don't have a single customer. Do they not care about money? Smiley

I'll start pestering that charity I contacted on Monday.
Also added neuronics to the spreadsheet.

Please add me to the list, 2 BTC per organization, up to 20 for the moment.

Will do, neuronics, and thank you so kindly. I replied to your PM to me, and look forward to you presenting your request on this thread.

I've also put you on the list located here: http://bitcoin100.org/about/partisans/

Emailed you those image Bruno, not sure if you check the email listed for your forum acct though.  Sized them 150px height, will that be a problem?

Looks great, amencon. I opt for the one without the orange background since with the larger height, the image melds with the menu bar. True, I could of change the page padding in the CSS to accommodate most any height, but chose to not do that unless it deem necessary. As it looks now, it rests well on the dark blue menu bar and the extreme lower part bleeds nicely into that solid blue adding just that little bit, now making it part of the design element. http://bitcoin100.org/

~Bruno~

Edit: I increased the padding my 1px. That tiny bit made a big difference.

NO!!! It was perfect til the last word--Bitcoin 100. Only kidding. Well done, Rassah!

I kept asking myself why there was an asterisks after the word free (free*), but I figured it out without even having to Google it. It's because if you didn't, and this being an email, it more than liking would hit their spam-in-box if the asterisks was not in place. Am I correct?

~Bruno~

No, it's because after moving things around, I forgot to put the second asterisk in font of the parenthesis at the end of that paragraph.

AH! I get it! Like a furry footnote.  Grin

That's what I had! BadBear must have added that extra word.
