I don't have time to monitor this thread in detail, but getting more charities on board with bitcoin is very important.
I just sent in another 90 BTC. (So far 100 BTC contributed)
Please keep up the great work!
Thank you so kindly, Roger, for your generous donation. We're doing our damndest here. If we need your help with anything, or something needs to be brought to your attention, we will surely do such.
I'm sure Rassah will see this and take care of the bookkeeping end as far as this transaction goes.
This is what came out of my photoshopping. Now I'm really going to sleep for about 2 hours (6:23 AM >_<).
Cheers
Here's the photoshop file for anyone who wants to take a stab:
http://ge.tt/9AEPNvCGreat job - much better! Thanks.
Bruno, take the file from the above link and use it in place of the one I gave you.
You guys are great. It only took me 45 minutes to figure out how to get that file unlocked. I normally do jpeg or png, not whatever that was. But I got it. I don't have Photoshop, but my sister does. I've never used it, but wish I had it. Maybe theymos will get me a copy for my birthday.
Thanks to everyone who had a hand in creating this header for the website. Special thanks to CornedBeefHash for jump starting it.
Now we can move on to the official logo. The one with the hands that Matthew was so kind to offer up for inspiration. The following is my latest suggestion. Feel free to add your own creative styles to it.
Let's start working with this image and see how it progresses. Perhaps start with the truism that white, black, red and yellow people populate the globe. Tighten up the Bitcoin logo image in the center, having it pronounced as much as possible. I kind of like the gray outer circles/design, but it doesn't have to be gray. Only stating that I like the concept. It kind of reminds me of TV's early Emergency Broadcast System (EBS) symbol.
