This is something that will be possible someday, in fact there are already some countries that are very advanced in the adoption of Bitcoin, but most of the places that I know with this level of progress are European cities, such as a city of the Netherlands, called Arnhem.
I agree with you because the only problem the we have right for this thing to happen is the Government, not all the countries supports bitcoin because others banned it for some reasons, other says because people are using it in illegal stuffs like buying drugs, guns and so on, so their Government prohibited using it.
And others didn't ban it, but the situation is, they don't accept bitcoin yet to be the money that we can use in our everyday lives, and I think it will really take some time for this thing to happen because bitcoin is a poison to them, since they can't control it.
