By virtue alone of the dramatic price increase then I can say yes, it's one of the, if not the best investment around. Still, it's too early and many things can still happen that might affect the value this year.

If you want to invest in bitcoin though, you might have to wait for the next train. The price is at an all-time so it's not the best time to buy into it. Maybe you can start saving up on fiat that you would use to buy bitcoins should the price drop. How you would do this would depend on the exchange you are using.

yes indeed bitcoin still good investment in 2017 but i'm slightly regret because not buying and hold bitcoin when it was reach $800 or below because i was thought bitcoin will not reach $1000 above in this year even i'm not really expect the price could surpassing gold several month ago but i think isn't too late to buy with the current price and hold at least for next 2 or 3 months

That's the deal for all investments, even if you know all things that happened related to it for its past years, in the end you can't conlude anything accurately . In situation like this . The question is, Is it worth giving a shot? By using its past happenings and predicting what will happen next you can answer this . For now bitcoin is still a good investment for me .

It is for sure the best investment, it's​ better than any stock and even surpass gold, the price rising is faster than any commodities and the best part is the usage is keep on spreading which will cause the price will go up and this is the first time I saw investment that can double up in only a year

Yes bitcoin is the best investment for this year of 2017 because the price is keep growing and it is a good sign that if you invest now and throughout the year you can still earn money because of the increasing growth to the price, but for me, it is safe to diverse our money into different kind of investment and not only in bitcoin so if ever that we lose some money in bitcoin, we can still get it back.

Without any doubt we can say bitcoin to be the best investment of 2017, because users who​ have invested in the starting of the  year has already earned their respective profits. So further more profiting too has got increased chance because of the ongoing price increase.

Casino bank roll is not good in my mid, Just with a little amount and we can't get a decent profit from there. I think vslice has offered best dividends for the investors rather than casino bank roll.
Bitcoin alredy being best investment for us, just hold them and try to wait until the price goes higher than before. With lower risk and it's really good investment in my mind.

Best investment is to buy Bitcoin and hold it or use the bought Bitcoins to invest in a casino bankroll. For me this is the best investment, but maybe there is an ocult investment only few people know and are earning a lot of money from it and won't tell others about the method. There is always something like this happening, if many people know about the method, the method becomes worthless for all.

We're only 4 months into 2017. 

We won't know what the best investments were until december 31st 2017.

Bitcoin did extremely well in 2016. If we're lucky that success will carry over to this year.

Trump winning the election could bode well for coal and hydrocarbon energy industries.

With the stock market at all time highs, Trump being in office could make a lot of things the best investment of 2017.

If this were made in the begining of the year after the dump yes i would invest, at the moment the price is too high and i believe it wont hold for a long time this value. Altcoins has becamed a lot atractive this year more then usually and a lot of new coins getting more attention as well investment, soo i would invest into altcoins at this stage.

I don't have a lot of bitcoins but my salary is always going into bitcoin and litecoin. I just treat them like gold and silver. I'm comfortable with litecoin because i think it is good for long term and the price will go just like ethereum if the segwit process will be done and the market of altcoins will surely be on the hot spot and that is how i will make profits.

Actually ETH has 15-45 seconds for transaction confirmation and that's too fast comparing with bitcoin but ETH is too much loose as the forks were *cumming one after another while bitcoin doesn't *cum at all or with a long delay lol which both aren't good.
Yet bitcoin shows better resistance against any changes in it's code which is a very promising factor for long-term holders/investors.
Overall yes bitcoin is the best option in crypto then between LTC and ETH you could roll a dice to choose one.
And not just for 2017 but rather for the next 25 years and if you don't believe me then I might be dead 25 years from now but you will be alive and you could judge my prediction then.

Investors don't look if the price is high or not. They look at it in long term. If they believed that bitcoin price will truly go to the moon in the next couple of years then why not? Its still worth to invest right now and make profit if the price soon become x5 of your initial investment. So for you bitcoin is still a safe haven for investor to put cash in the bitcoin ecosystem.

Because bitcoin has a lot of the potential to growth more in the future. I have bought a lot of bitcoin at $1100 and i hold them all till this time. The adoption of crypto is growing anytime, that's a reason for me to hold my bitcoin for long-term period. I think this can be a good opportunity for us to get more benefits by bitcoin in the future. $2000 is reasonable rate in my mind.

I'm not sure that investors will be too active to join bitcoin. Now the price of one coin is too high and not everyone can afford to buy it.

2020 seems too early for your speculation, I agree with all your speculation except the timeframe. The gradual increase in bitcoin demand makes bitcoin prices keep on increasing every day. Hence it might need another five years at least to have some significant price levels like in millions.

Back to the topic, the best investment in 2017 must be bitcoins and I am very much sure in coming years too bitcoin will be achieving this. Because new investors will keep on increasing when seeing higher prices for bitcoin so this performance will continue.

Maybe I do not agree with what you say, friend. I am also investing in ethereum and it is true ethereum is developing very well and profitable if used for trading and investment, but in my opinion it is not exactly the best investment. For crypto, bitcoin is the best investment right now. Fluctuations that are always positive will be very profitable if used for investment, so in crypto, bitcoin is the best investment not ethereum. But indeed both are feasible if used for investment.

I already invested in bitcoin when it as was just around $1,200 even though it is not a full decision for an investment i still take the risk and buy some bitcoins and continue to hold it until now, i just saw the new ATH price of bitcoin and just surpassed the past ATH and it is a good sign for me and i'm planning to hold until $2,000.

I bet one reason behind this recent rise could be the banks blocking exchanges accounts and their clients but regardless the bitcoin price meant to rise and it will rise even higher and that's what I've been talking about the past year all along.
You guys could just sit back and just watch as the people with some balls taking the risk and well they're the ones who will benefit greatly in the future.
