He'll no, it won't ever fall to such low figures ever, the last time it feel was due to Chinese mess, but it won't happen ever again it shall only keep on rising, like I believe it's resistance level has reached 5800$ and it's finding good support there, I feel 7k suddenly has become a realistic figure now, only a matter of few days before we come to know about it.

in my opinion bitcoin will stay in the top of $4000 not $2000 cause its a hardfall for bitcoin in 2018 . If that time happen it will made panic situation in the market which more buyer and expecting for the large profit in the future i have doubts that there's a possibility but it will not go back to its first value. Or that prediction will not happen. Maybe it will fluctuate in a moment then it will continue to climb as the volatility of bitcoin.

In the world of cryptocurrency and BTC everything is possible,who could predicted at the beginning of this year or just exactly one year ago that today price of one BTC would be over 6000$.Some dreamed about that,but it seemed pretty unrealistic at that time.Even today we see many speculation and prediction for next 6 months or year period,20k by the end of next year-why not?

It can happen, and most of us here are also waiting for a crash to happen so that I'd be able to stash up again for another bullish period. Already have made a decent profit for the past 2 months but I'd still want to get some cheap tickets for my retirement fund. For the last part of the year, there needs to be a serious negative news to cause another uncertainty in the markets, just like China. I doubt major banks' words would matter by then, and it's just up to the big countries to have negative comments toward bitcoin to cause another panic.

Bitcoin price indeed will get decreased but I think it's a small possibility if bitcoin price before the end of the year until will dropping to $2000, that's too low I guess. I think as low as it will not reach that number again, and I'm sure it will be stay away from that number.

What is logical about saying that it can fall to $2000 before the end of 2017? Bitcoin is at an all time high and there are no signs that it will slow down at the moment.

It is therefore more logical to say that it is on its way to $10,000 than to say that it will fall back to $2000. So if you missed the train, sorry.

Bitcoin can fall to 0 before 2018 for all we know. It's just highly unlikely. It's like how Bitcoin rising to 100,000 before 2018 is unlikely as well. Essentially, no one can predict what will happen. Bitcoin has seemingly defied odds that many have put on it. For now, however, we do know that we are in a bubble of sorts. There is a rise in btc price due to the upcoming fork. People will be dumping bitcoin gold very quickly. After that rise, there will be a decent correction period.

This is the correct answer but seeing as we are on a speculation thread I will say Bitcoin will hit a high of 9500 this year but will finish the year at 7500. Thus op gets his 2000 drop.

I really didn't get your logic . In the period of china ICO ban bitcoin dropped but regain its position within two weeks. And many people saying that people will dump bitcoin after they get bitcoin gold. But I think they will dump bitcoin gold and buy bitcoin as there is next fork segwit2x is scheduled.

Yup! it will never gonna be smaller that the $4000 mark value in the end of this year because we already reach a certain All time high amount then we can set a good safe zone for bitcoin to not go under that cap, and yup! more investors right now are waiting to buy bitcoin right now when the price plummets in the impending Hard Fork so nothing to worry about in my part.

I think it's not possible if they throw it away until bitcoin prices drop to $ 2000 because now the average trader already knows it's just an investor game that makes a person panic. If they do the dump it will only make them lose because they will raise the price again, but what if other investors are just waiting to buy and not sell so in my opinion it will not happen until the end of this year.

if we are looking at our current progress i think it is possible to see something like that,
a lot of people hyping it lately due to chain split and another airdrop.
to be honest i never expecting we are hitting this level this fast,
because of a problem that we encountered lately.
we're breaking $6000 level and if it keep moving upward,we should see another pullback soon.

Bitcoin price falling back to 2000$ is just logical like you said OP since price upward movement has been going on for a prolonged period of time and it needs to go back where it once was in order for investors to know it's real value in the current time if hype is gone. Price movements also are unpredictable which made me think that there is a possibility that by the end of this year, it might or might not sit at 2000$ price.

I don't think it will drop even for just $1000.Bitcoin was doing good this days , I actually foresee that it will continue to rise since holiday is coming and many people want to buy bitcoin but well if what you are saying is true then I am gonna use that opportunity to buy more bitcoins !

As in the above statement everything is happening good with bitcoin, in terms of growth as well in terms of people accepting bitcoin for different needs as well the marketplace increases. If the same continues, there won't be any more price drop to such a low value as $2000. Even if that happens, people will invest big, because most has benefited from the same.

Bitcoin price seems on a good rally these days, rise over $6000 before bitcoin gold hard fork.
What will happen before the end of year? Nobody knows for sure, but drop to $2000 before end of the year? Really doubt it.
Bitcoin may get corrected after reach ATH, but it may not fall below $4000 I guess, bitcoin price could be steady at $6000 until the end of the year, or at least over $5000.

We dont know if the price of bitcoin decrease at 2000 dollars but I hope it will not decrease. Because as of now the price of bitcoin is 5900 dollars plus and continue to increase so we can make a lot of profit in the future. More bitcoin that you have more money to come. But if the price of bitcoin decrease Its better to buy mote bitcoin with cheap price and hold it and wait the price to increase to make more profit.

$2000 would be a quite a jump, but yes I was also expecting a drop but not this much. I am expecting the segwit2x frok to cause some waves in the bitcoin market, probably a drop to $4000s is more realistic.
