We can not completely deny that bitcoins can not be a global currency. For me, this is a global currency, because the currency of one country can not be used in the next country, except for a few currencies like the dollar, euro, etc. With bitcoins it is available in almost every country that already makes it a global currency.
The truth is Bitcoin can never become a global currency because it does not meet the basic requirement of even a suitable currency yet. For it to be a global currency, it first of all has to meet the needs of all individuals in the world. it must also be easily accessible and affordable and tradable for everyday transactions.
Bitcoin global currency has been accepted, except for some countries, bitcoin has become famous all over the world. Bitcoin's fame is now being discussed in every country.
Bitcoin has the potential and the features to claim that spot and be the global currency but the hurdles that it faces are humungous and very difficult to go through

No one can say it with guarantee that bitcoin can not be a global currency and also can be a global currency but all will admit that it has possibility to be that.

If majority of the governments in the world legalized bitcoin as one their legal tender and businesses accepted it then there is a possibility that a virtual currency would become a global currency. But they to deal with the high volatility and rapid fluctuation on bitcoin and economy might hurt if it suffer a crash. Cryptocurrencies exist only in the internet and are useful in cashless transactions so in the future, a cashless society will finally emerge with bitcoin as their main currency.

Well I think the idea of saying that bitcoin could not be a global currency is wrong. I know that you can get your bitcoins anywhere in this world as long as you have the internet connection. Aside from that if you have bitcoin already then you can perform what others currency can do like investing in an ICO project and BTC is used as a medium of exchange. However, we should not mixed up centralized currency and decentralized digital currency which is bitcoin. Bitcoin is global but in decentralized form.
