I agree to others who said if the other countries stop banning on bitcoin, it can have a chance to be a global currency. in fact bitcoin shows a lot of possibility that it can pass through all the crisis they've been facing. I am partly agree on what you have stated and also partly disagree. Agree because it is hard to make bitcoin a global currency because many countries around the world are not favor on bitcoin and other banned bitcoin in their country. So, it will have a hard time to make bitcoin a global currency. On the other hand, bitcoin can be global currency because as we can see of what bitcoin can do, especially to change our lives. The only one currency no, but global yes. Bitcoin is without national borders. Also it is global.
Bitcoin is already a global currency. It can be used by everyone who has access to the internet. One of the drawbacks is that the world is yet not a global village- there are several people in some parts of the world who do not have internet access.
