Bitcoin should survive alone, bitcoin have more potential, recognition, acceptance and much awareness than other cryptocurrency, hands holding bitcoins are top notch people and world wide it is being speak about so with or without market I guess bitcoin would be able to stand firm and survive without any attachment of whatever. And also with time more people will buy bitcoin as some government like China are speaking good about bitcoin.
But indirectly bitcoin is also influenced by altcoin which innovates in product development so that people get to know and more easily adopt cryptocurrency in life. That means more investors will come and be interested in joining. This becomes a kind of symbiotic mutualism, both of which influence each other on the positive side.

Yes because Bitcoin is made only as a means of payment, and there is no other development, while the Altcoin has a wide range of innovations, so it will continue to evolve, no matter as high as BTC price increase will surely no alt that follows.

But I see that all crypto coins will be a means of payment or exchange for an item with a type of virtual coin and that is not much different from Bitcoin. I think it's just the same and depends on how people interpret it.
altcoin seems to be a payment tool for their own specifications, while bitcoin is a global payment tool, which is familiar in the crypto world. so I think the two can support each other with their respective duties. here that establishes the belief in the product

Over 850 millions of people use alipay as means of payment mostly in china and i heard lots about wepay as well, i come to think of it that what if bitcoin was been used in their places instead? if alipay and wepay can get to where they are today then altcoins have all the chances of survival as well. Wepay and Alipay are just online payment solution, crypto can do better.

Real use cases plus real life working products, let these two be your main focus when picking altcoins to invest your money on, do not listen to those saying 'dump altcoins for bitcoin' when you are holding solid altcoins
I think bitcoin could survive on its own even if no other tokens are in the market bitcoin is still what it is today,
All of the altcoins in the market are just a copy of bitcoin and they wanted to replicate the success of bitcoin since in the past years it has a successful technology.
But still it is a unique algorithm and even if they create a token like bitcoin, bitcoin was still the first in this kind of digital currency and already established its market price.

If bitcoin is an island, island without a human is very lonely. It will survive but lonely. Same with bitcoin it will surely survive without anyone backing it, the proof is there, It still exists until now and no altcoin can beat its marketcap. But altcoin provides use cases specific to their uses and gives the blockchain world more interesting and colorful with bitcoin as inspiration.

There are wallets that will allow us to send BTC by just scanning QRcode, that should be enough to use BTC to pay, adoption however has to have many users over the world. China has many users that even beggars are asking money thru Wechat on the streets in China. We don't do that since not even half of the of 850M users in China are BTc users. Chinese also are one which they have channels of their own while the people outside are very much divided.

Telegram (TON) must have been a good for all.

I think in order to use in payment, BTC is not a reasonable option. Currently BTC transaction fee, processing time and its volatility is very high, which mean we need another altcoin for this purpose. BTC is an option for asset storage.
to use bitcoin as a transaction may not be suitable at this time, because the process is quite long and the fee is quite large. it's good if you make transactions using stable coins and also look for coins that have a good speed to make transactions
have you tried to use segwit? if you have not yet tried and i suggest you to try that asap. Stable coin is not so scalable as you said and doge is much better than it. But again, you should try to search the fact before you wanna try to say anything that you don't know about.

I think it's normal if most people suggest to sell altcoin and replace it with bitcoin. because bitcoin is the main currency in cryptocurrency. and bitcoin is also always a reference for altcoin. when bitcoin falls, some altcoin bears will also experience a decrease. if we have limited capital then I also recommend investing in bitcoin only. but if we have a lot of capital I think it's okay to try to invest in altcoin. and suggest investing in the top 10 altcoins of CMC. the existence of altcoin makes the crypto market bigger and crowded.
I think the opposite is true. if a person does not have a lot of money, then it is best for him to invest in altcoins rather than bitcoin. if you have 2 thousand dollars, then investing in good altcoins you can earn much more than investing in bitcoins. Bitcoin is good for saving huge capital

Really, so why is BTC the only coin that is doing well? Everything is dropping hard and BTC is going to stay the most popular, the most expensive and the best crypto on the market for decades and further from now on.

not only btc but there are other few alts that also work good too  .

btc is good but btc still miss something that people find on these altcoins  but btc is the most popular and most expensive coin till this date but i dont know if that will remain in the future or from forever  . one thing for sure is that bitcoin cant survive alone  . that is why alts are been created along with those erc20 tokens  to provide a support to btc so that btc can live  .

Cryptocurrency may grow to the extent of being used by millions of people as a means of payment but its important to consider the fact that cryptocurrency has lost her reputation as a great medium for payment and would need the support of a vast amount of people to regain her place.

Alipay and wechatpay are mostly only used in China while Bitcoin is used by the whole world. Alipay and wechatpay are still controlled by the central bank because they are actually digital fiat money while Bitcoin is decentralized coins. For now, Bitcoin cannot be used in China due to a ban from the Chinese Government and hopefully in the next few years China is regulating it

Bitcoin is the crypto king, nothing is going to change that for a while or maybe even forever but altcoins have did alot in crypto history right from the start of ICO projects that drove many new investors into crypto and this makes new money enter crypto as well, its really a big point that bitcoin can't do it alone, many altcoins will still be standing strong at last
The existence of altcoin enlivens cryptocurrency and makes many choices for investors to invest into coins that they think have the potential. For me personally bitcoin will still exist if there is no altcoin, but what will happen is the cryptocurrency market will be very quiet because we know bitcoin is limited and if there is no altcoin the market will be quiet and no one will put their money into cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin can survive alone because it has done this before when it was first created without any other cryptocurrency in existence. Altcoins will rather struggle if Bitcoin dies because Bitcoin is what the world looks up to in other to make general comments on the entire crypto space.
It can be argued that bitcoin will never die as there will always be some enthusiasts using it in the future even if its price crashed, however if bitcoin really died then altcoins will not struggle they will disappear, many altcoins despite their claims are for the most part copies of bitcoin with just a few changes so if the technology of bitcoin had some weakness then all coins will be susceptible to the same kind of attack that killed bitcoin and even the few that were not will die because they will lose all credibility.
There are many altcoins that keep coming and bringing new ideas, to make it easier for everyone to make transactions around the world, I am impressed with the Bitcoin whitepaper and the idea continues to be developed by many people, so we can see Ethereum and many other altcoins that keep cryptocurrency alive to date.

in my opinion bitcoin can live alone, precisely altcoin which cannot live alone, because in most cases it's almost the same that when the price of btc goes up, altcoin also goes up. so I don't think that bitcoin cannot live without altcoin.
far this altcoin is still dependent on bitcoin in my opinion. because if you look at price movements, when the bitcoin pump altcoin starts the pump too. but if in the perspective of the market, altcoin it becomes one of the choices for traders. with many altcoins that can make trading more attractive to the public
This is the biggest truth of crypto coins’ world that all the altcoins highly depend on bitcoin for their performance and progress. If bitcoin is not going bullish, it is impossible for even the king of altcoins to prosper. People who understand this much are not losing faith in altcoins. The investors of crypto currencies must keep themselves prepare for all sort of situations and make bitcoin their priority.
Bitcoin does not need the help of altcoins because the coin is always very valuable in this market and any investor will have to buy Bitcoin when participating. I think Bitcoin's dominance will continue for several more years and altcoins will not have a chance to compete with Bitcoin during this time. In my opinion, appropriate capital allocation for investment and BTC should always be the most holding coin in this market.

yes you are right, bitcoin dominance will continue and altcoin will never be able to replace or compete with bitcoin dominance in the cryptoqurrency market. but the fact is bitcoin can live alone, it's just that the presence of altcoin can offset the price of bitcoin and nothing more than that.
Hold the topic of survival. Each coin will not be able to survive alone. Because with the other coins there will be comparators who are able to spur a competition that leads to progress in every circumstance. This will increase the value of them. As well as Bitcoin would be great if he were along with other coins. This introduces Bitcoin as a good coin compared to any other so much interest in Bitcoin for the future.
