Many investors like you did not expect this great dump in price of btc. But the best you do now is to hold and wait for pump which will come soon
I guess, the author of this thread has already read most of the comments, and they helped him a lot. Unfortunately, most of us lost a lot this year. My choice now is to stay in crypto and wait for the bulls.
The best forecast that exist for the bitcoin pricce tells that the price will start to increase in 2020. If everything is good, the price will go up to 400 000-600 000 USD/Bitcoin (this is my opinion) in 2022-2024.

Just hold and be patient. As long it is alive it will do its best to increase its price. Don't listen to others, if you want profit then you wait for it, if not then do panic sell that would really destory you at all. Keep calm and hold bitcoin. Next time once you get profit, try to find a lesson to it and apply it to your next investment.
Bitcoin gonna destroy you when you do panic selling then leave the market. You can leave the market when you cannot bear to see that it falls down and come back later. Do your other job and do not depend on bitcoin, it will come back but it needs long time for that. You also buy again from this dip it make it profitable in every increase of price.
I think your title is wrong. I only give advice, cryotocurrency is an unpredictable asset that has a very fluktuatif price, if you are not sure of your choice, why do you choose this path, I think you are a BTC haters when prices go down and do not meet your expectations. and what happens is you lose a lot of money

what you are experiencing right now is indeed very heavy. for the next 2 years if you can hold the bitcoin in your hands I am sure you will get a big profit. according to many bitcoin experts, the price of bitcoin is a 4-year cycle. so stay on your bitcoin.
Few months back i purchased arround 15 to 16 btc when bitcoin price was 10000$ to 11000$ each btc but now arround 4000$ each btc .Just waiting for 11000$ for each btc than i should leave btc and i can see bitcoin have no future in this time.
It wasnt bitcoin who destroys you,instead its your greediness that made you stupid.when you buy bitcoin its already dropping from the hype of $20,000 but yet because of your stupidity and being greed ,you purchase at $10,000 thinking it will hit $20,000 again and you nay double your money but what happened is opposite thats why you are crying for death by now.stop blaming bitcoin instead blame your attitude lol 
Chill out. The first thing you have to do is think positive and wait for the price to soar high again. Don’t check the prices every day. Forget and assume the money you invested has lost. 5-10 years later you will smile seeing the price of bitcoin is 5 even 10 times higher the current price. Cryptocurrencies are proceeding towards the mainstream. The key is to be patient.

it seems you invested in bitcoin just for the profit you thought of getting and not because of the whole bitcoin ideology. There is more to bitcoin than just profit and loss. Hold your bitcoin and believe in the ideology for which it was created

You buy 15 bitcoins at a price of 10k, why don't you consider the risk of bitcoin because the price is unstable. Before making a decision, always consider profit or loss, because if you are too greedy, it will make you poor.

Investment in any financial market is good but it should be given some time to grow, also only the amount should be invested which one can afford to lose, I hope you have not invested all your savings. Bitcoin will be back to your buying price of may be more but it should take some time, just wait patiently, your investment will grow by time, give it some time like 2-3 years.

You need to be patient if you want to recover your losses if you sold it for today's price you are losing huge amount of your investment I also bought Bitcoin when it was at 8k$ and until now I'm holding it and if it bottom further I'm planning to buy more to lower my buying average.I am in the same situation as you. Bought at 7,5K. I am trying to trade on the fall, I sold after breaking the 4K border and bought again at 3,3K eur. This way I am trying to decrease my buying average. Now I sold some BTC when crossing 3000 eur. This is really tough to predict what will happen. But I can not just hold and pray for turn.

Shit happens and so it happened again and again in the case of BTC, but BTC survived every time it saw a sharp fall in its value. So, if you think you'll never see your purchase price once again, think at least twice. This bloodbath is a complete mix of utter nonsensical statements, incredible manipulation and non-stop panic and we'll definitely out of it once the shakeout of people's hearts go stable once again and manipulators stop creating FUD. You need to hold, I know you're left with nothing but BTC and when you have such an amount of BTC with you, that's when you could actually feel the pain and stress when shit occurs, but don't worry it will settle down once a few countries come up with some good regulations for crypto.

Dont just give up and let your self distroyed you, just keep calm and let weak hands do what ever they want to do in the markets, as we can see, dips/bleeds stays the whole year, and some of the investors trying to survive the bloody year of crypto, so not even you are facing the same problem as you have, just hold and wait for the next pump.
