Bitcoin movement is often followed by some altcoins, but it also depends on the enthusiasts altcoin it. Bitcoin is a benchmark in crypto so that the value of altcoins is synchronized with bitcoin. This is already a patent in the crypto.

All alts are paired to the price of bitcoin. Which is why when bitcoin goes down in price, alts go down with it; vice-versa. Now there is a time last year when bitcoin is tanking while alts are mooning. This might be an isolated case but generally, the previous statement holds true most of the time.

There is a general sense of commitment. But not in the opposite direction. Because bitcoin makes hard movements in both directions, altcoins are affected too much. Make sure Bitcoin now doubles itself and there is no such thing as altcoin.

Is there any relationship between the two?
Whh must the fall of bitcoin after other altcoins?
When you look at the price of an altcoin in USD, you are actually looking at the altcoin’s price in relation to Bitcoin’s exchange rate with USD. Every altcoin value must first be converted to Bitcoin equivalent value before it is converted to USD.

When the Bitcoin price falls or rises against the USD, all the altcoins will usually follow. This is because all altcoin prices are based on their Bitcoin exchange rate, not their USD exchange rate.

Altcoin and bitcoin exist in the same market and both are crypto currencies. there will always be a link between the two. But this has not been proven by an actual research. Yet by seeing the pattern of the market for the past years this can be said that when the price of bitcoin changes the price of ALT coins changes too.

This is one of the strangest thing that most of us the noobs still don't get but from my little research i have come to find out that bitcoin which is the king of all cryptocurrencies dominates all the altcoins and therefore the supremacy of bitcoin moves them also. This simply means that when bitcoin goes green they also do same and otherwise.

I believe that all altcoins depend on the price of bitcoin and so now all prices are falling.

Bitcoin is generally a dominant crypto currency and its impacts on the price of altcoins and results to similar price fluctuation. There's no specific reason behind this. It is just the nature of bitcoin.

It has been noted from the past that the price of altcoins follows the price of the bitcoin that means when the price of bitcoin is high then the price of altcoins rise high. Actually this relationship is not proved by any research but it is built on the basis of the previous experience.
