Bitcoin should be famous because of its price fluctuation in few days and months the people who were having lot of excess money and who have cleverly invested in bitcoin and the beneficent now and the people who don't know about bitcoin also have started to look for it as it is giving lot of returns it a playing a active role in the investment market from few days. Bitcoin is the best investment for those who have recently invested in it just hearing about it and believing in it so what ever comes new in market is not fake so people have started believing in this and have started spreading it in the society as much as they can.

I think it is becoming more famous than ever. When I first heard about bitcoin, I really didn't know how really famout it was. Until I found out from lots of friends and relatives that they too are aware and so much interested on it.

Yes it is i think it because of increasing value of bitcoin day by day and its growing community of bitcoin, so it become famous in many country. Even there are a lot of cryptos that came out and become know but still bitcoin is better than them.

And even despite fact that bitcoin popularity is increasing - we can observe some dark side of popularity. One example: Steam removed BTC payments.

Their reasoning is:

So apparently Valve wants to protect customers from high fees by removing Bitcoin payment completely and they might not be last company to remove bitcoin for the same reason.

thats what i believe.bitcoin never failed to amuse me how it kick up after a big dip...
that makes bitcoin unique for me..seeing bitcoin frm hundred to thousands!

Bitcoin, cryptocurrency is still famous, but surveys show that not to much people know about it. Sorry, I can't provide link right now, but I read about USA, where about Bitcoin & ICO knows maybe 20% of people. Sure, news hype will increase this value.
