Actually bitcoin is not useless as you think. bitcoin has been used as a popular payment currency in the dark world since the early year of btc.

for the problem solution about network fee is so high, now Bitcoin Blockchain implemented Lighting Network in Blockchain, this software can make transaction faster than before and fee low, but not 100% working on Blockchain Network for now
The fact that the transaction is slow it does not mean that it will always be ! Bitcoin developers take care of this problem at the expense of the soft fork !

The network fee only goes up when the volume of transactions go up and that is norma with anything. With more demand comes scarcity which means that there is going to be harder time with using the coins. I don't invest on bitcoin. I agree bitcoin is useless, their only can be used for payment. But many people familiarize on bitcoin, they have more trusted investment on bitcoin.If you want a crypto usefull for this world, you have to look on ICO, ICO has many usefull for this world for example Bobs Repair, etc
