This is good news but since uber is suspended here in my country we can't at least try to book and try to use it by using our bitcoins since the good news here is we can use promo codes if we use our virtual credit card using bitcoins if we do that. I am excited to use my bitcoin for the first time to ride an uber.

I hope, the suspension has nothing to do with the acceptance of bitcoins by Uber. In my country, Uber is available and we can enjoy the new facility that Uber has introduced in its services. It is a very important step in the survival of bitcoins and it has also made bitcoins more famous.But, I don't seriously like the idea that Uber accepts Bitcoins, What if we only travel a few kilometers and the fare was only 5$ and we will pay 1$ fee for the transaction as the price of Bitcoins is really high?
Or maybe they implement something like that can store Money in there Uber accounts through Bitcoins so the users can use that money whenever they want.

How amazing if this will be followed, bitcoin to be tipped to the driver, but sadly that uber as of now is banned in some country, once I visited my friend I cannot use uber there, I was expecting that I can use bitcoin for them to have bitcoin from me.
But honestly, some did not know what bitcoin is, becaus I asked some.drivers. Then I just use their fiat money for my fare which is fair enough for our both ends.
Uber is suffering the same problems as bitcoin, uber is revolutionary and now some countries put some barriers and made uber illegal, I think the same is going to happen to bitcoin but there are many countries that have realized the great opportunity both of these technologies bring and are going to adopt them very fast. Not only Uber, there are many companies that now accept Bitcoins as a payment. No doubt, it is a great help for BTC holders. Steam, Tesla, Subway, Stripe, WebJet, Whole Foods, Zappos, Zynga, Microsoft, Amazon, Wikipedia, Overstock, Paypal/Ebay and many others. This also means Bitcoins is the currency of future. 
That's a good news since Uber in the Philippines is very popular. Actually it is more popular than the traditional taxi. If they are going to accept bitcoin, much better. But the transaction fee plus the rate of meter, isn't that a bit expensive? Anyway, this is a good help for bitcoin because this will promote bitcoin more. And hopefully bitcoin will be a part of people for their everyday lives. Good job Uber.
It is true that the system of Uber on a specific country is a good thing to start on accepting bitcoin as a form of payment in transaction because it is much easier to deal with tracked when it come to technology base application. So if you are prefer to travel on other countries Bitcoin can serve as a universal currency which is a form of crypto-currency that can be used in traveling specifically on Uber vehicles. I don’t know why some people will choose to waste their time on coming up with pointless ideas that makes me think they’re going nuts. Do you work in Uber? Then why are you suggesting such, why you can’t make it happen. Even if Uber does start to accept Bitcoin tomorrow, you guys will be the one to complain the fees is high, Bitcoin is not getting confirmed quickly, and the rest of trash and blame it on Uber while the fault is not from them.

This is good news to spread awareness on bitcoin. Some people who doesn't know bitcoin would be curious about it and then maybe research more and can be a potential additional demand to the coin. Being in a public transportation can reach more people to have an awareness of it.

That's good. Bitcoin will be used everywhere in future. Because Bitcoin is now most popular cryptocurrency around the world. It's become popular day by day. Everyone wants to know and use bitcoin. Because It's very secure and easy for the transaction.
It's certainly a welcoming news but it will be better if it becomes one of the main forms of Uber payment. I know there are pawn shops who accept Bitcoin for Uber gift cards but that isn't enough and going forward into the future I hope we'd hear more welcoming news like this from Uber and other potential merchants.

About time, all these guys that are not accepting bitcoins now will soon realize that they have made serious mistake for failing to implement bitcoin in their payment method. Bitcoin is going mainstream after all, and those that failed to get involve with bitcoin now they will regret it for the rest of their lives. 
This is very good news, although Uber isn't popular in my area (it's been a debate whether Uber is illegal or not in my country) I am happy that such large and popular service as Uber is starting to adopt bitcoin. We are going in the right direction, and I hope more and more big companies like this will adopt bitcoin.
Here the same. Some cities of my country made Uber forbidden to please the cabby class, but where I live there isn't a service like this. It's indeed a good news, but I don't think it will happen so fast for all the places. Also, even Uber drivers don't give importance to this new payment method because they don't know what Bitcoin is, many of them were ordinary unemployed withtout knowledge about technology news.
