This is very good news, although Uber isn't popular in my area (it's been a debate whether Uber is illegal or not in my country) I am happy that such large and popular service as Uber is starting to adopt bitcoin. We are going in the right direction, and I hope more and more big companies like this will adopt bitcoin.
love it ,bitcoin has become more international since 2013.integrating the system would could be considered as a wise step as it would be advantageous for both ways .Really excited to be working with all over the world soon after.
I am also happy that finally bitcoin is making its way into routine payments. It is definitely a mean of ease for all Bitcoin holders. Now, they don't need to count money while paying or wait for the change. I am damn sure, in future more companies and brands will be accepting bitcoins as a payment. One day, it will be a payment tool worldwide. 
Good news, but here in Denmark, the stupid politicians made uber illegal. How stupid is that? Try to think how a politician can be so naive, and think they can control the people by making a law that illegalizes uber.

This is massive clickbait. Uber hasn't officially implemented Bitcoin and doesn't have any plans to. There was a rumor about Litecoin and Uber a while back too, which was also fake news. Not sure what's up with all the crypto and Uber posts.
yes it is very good news for the bitcoin currency. Now umber is very famous every and it is accepting bitcoin payment hoping for it to become a biggest payment service and the uber drives has a lot of advantages so it will be very beneficial for bitcoin it will give affine impact for the bitcoin users but the problem is not all the uber are good at bitcoin it will take some time to make uber accept bitcoin. 
How is it working? Are you having your BTC on you own wallet or you have to fund your account? The 2nd option is centralized but it will help to avoid tranaction fee. No one would like to tip extra $ to miners (in future it could become like a half of the tip amount).

That's good. Bitcoin will be used everywhere in future. Because Bitcoin is now most popular cryptocurrency around the world. It's become popular day by day. Everyone wants to know and use bitcoin. Because It's very secure and easy for the transaction.
It's certainly a welcoming news but it will be better if it becomes one of the main forms of Uber payment. I know there are pawn shops who accept Bitcoin for Uber gift cards but that isn't enough and going forward into the future I hope we'd hear more welcoming news like this from Uber and other potential merchants.

If you avail the card of the exchange here in the philippines you can actually pay bitcoin to your uber. You can use the card to pay uber rides and more. you can check all the available merchants that actually support this card by visiting their website. coins.ph
If this is true then I guess its a good idea since It will be convenient for both parties. However, since not everybody knows anything about bitcoin nor have any bitcoin accounts, i guess that part right there will be one of its downside although we can always educate the rest of the community. This is a good way to introduce bitcoin to the rest of the world and i just hope

Look at the uber, people rely on it so much and almost everyday people tend to use uber. It is purely a good news for everybody outside the Philippines. Because here in my country uber and grab taxis have been banned. So we, people of the Philippines might not enjoy the benefits.
Why did uber and grab banned in your country? I don't think that there is a valid reason for the government in the Philippines to ban uber and grab because in my country, a lot of people are using it as an alternative transportation which is more secure and the most comfortable to ride for a transportation because it is private and easy to manage.It would be great if Uber or Grab would allow payments in bitcoin. And with this, bitcoin will become popular to the masses as we all know that people who avail of Uber and Grab are ordinary people on the street. So it this company suddenly announces that they will accept bitcoin, ordinary riders then will try to search what is bitcoin and probably will buy it to used as mode of payment the next time they used this riding services.
How amazing if this will be followed, bitcoin to be tipped to the driver, but sadly that uber as of now is banned in some country, once I visited my friend I cannot use uber there, I was expecting that I can use bitcoin for them to have bitcoin from me.
