In this moment where ethereum blockchain is in trouble, it is right to choose bitcoin over altcoins. The price of btc now is coming very near to $20,000. In my opinion, before the year ends, this would be above $20,000.
I don't know what is the best and where should i invest. I will always believe in bitcoin but btc right now is very expensive although i am sure that i can get a profit when i invest with btc but i am now thinking of investing with alts since btc is too expensive.
It is a bubble waiting to burst When The Wall street invest. I trust in Bitcoin and Altcoin. But I am afraid.Lol
If you had asked me two moths ago, I would have answered bitcoin, but nowadays alts are breaking down and only btc goes up, so it's bitcoin! (Now every alt is affected, but most of them)

Obviously if you wanted to at least got a strong coins in your stash. Bitcoin being the most popular and the most supported cryptocurrency is the better choice. But if you wanted to risk your investment in a more ROI, I think altcoin is the way to go since I have seen altcoin that increase more than 50x in just a short period of time. It is more profitable if we timed it right but the risk is so much greater that the possibility of losing our investment is bigger.

I think it is more then just a Bitcoin, other alt-coins proven to be
very potential for short and long term investments. I think that both
Bitcoin and alt-coins have a future, and now it is the perfect time to
get into the crypto-currencies when prices are low.
Bitcoin is more safe investment, and maybe will give faster profit,
but I do not doubt in alt-coins, some of them have potential to be
really big.

Let's get something straight; today there are 1333 altcoins listed in coinmarketcap.com. 80~90% of those are pure trash!
That's the point, isn't it? Not all altcoins are born equal. Some have real projects, serious plans, long term goals and commited devs.

I am sure everyone is aware about the rise of altcoins like ETH and Litecoin so I just want to know expert's opinion whether to invest in bitcoin or altcoins as the price of bitcoin is too high now for an individual to invest into it ? Do you think these altcoins will survive and pump just like bitcoin or its better to stick to bitcoin ?
Nothing too worry about ETH or LTC, those second coins will survive and always follow bitcoin as mother of coins. Most people will say bitcoin is the best for invest/ trade even the price too high. But as trader/ investor we need to analyze which the right moment to take action ( buy/ sell/ hold ) and that's not easy. For me, wait and see to buy bitcoin and try again until next year. Altcoin is also good for invest/ trade but news/ price move from btc can give negative impact, that's why stop loss needed. Be careful with your investment and good luck to you.
If you want to invest then Bitcoin is the best choice. Indeed altcoin has increased but altcoin has a very high risk in investing.
Everyone is trusting bitcoin because bitcoin has given a lot to the people and all this is just because of bitcoin blessings and people are now true fan f bitcoin they will never see toward any other coin and alts are bleeding right now because bitcoin has diverted the attention of all investor toward itself and this thing is very beneficial for the bitcoin to be declared as the global currency and just imagine how profitable it will be.
it will be wise to choose invest in altcoins now, bitcoin is rising too fast and becoming a big bubble, the day it blows will not very far from now, instead altcoins price is very cheap, a good time to buy altcoins now.
In my opinion, it's better to sit in bitcoin, and go to the altcoyins for a short time in order to increase the number of bitcoins. Bitcoin, even if it goes to correction, then it is restored very quickly, and the altcoyins are much more slowly restored and, in addition, not all.
Bitcoin is the best among those competetor coins or laternative coins even though btc pump too high it can never stop reach its highest point ..its better to inves to btc rather than in any other crypto currency there are a high possibility to loss your money in altcoins because there are many reported scam icos and altcoins . Its not late to invest in btc just put half of your money in btc so that in the future you will not regret.

Don't put all your eggs in the same basket. BTC might be a safe bet, who knows? But altcoins, specially the ones using the PoS mechanism, have a shinning future ahead.
Therefore, one should diversify investments. BTC might keep this rising trajectory but might also collapse at any instant. In fact, this is true for every cryptocurrency and that is an added reason to keep a keen eye on other alternatives, and not only on BTC.

For sure bitcoin is more good than altcoin, because bitcoin is the best among the rest and as of now the price of bitcoin is $14283 and that was the best price of bitcoin and by choosing bitcoin over than altcoins is we will have a chance to make more many money and to be rich maybe 1year or 2 years from now. 
Now a days every person knows much about bitcoin because they are know n to this in colleges and universities even they are discussing this currency for this reason bitcoin and altcoin both are good to start with it. i like to buy some of altcoin now because the price rise i want to buy altcoins which are easy and convenient for me to make some investment with this.
Altcoin is the good option to earn good profit no doubt but if you want to be a good trader then work with according to good understanding of the market condition so the best option for this time is to invest bitcoin because bitcoin hardfork makes you able to get extra profit in term of new altcoin mean bitcoin silver.
