I think there are no references and choices when talking about bitcoin and altcoins, of course bitcoin is far above everything.
As of right now, Bitcoin is the most well-known cryptocurrency. If you're going to invest in Bitcoins or altcoins, Bitcoin is clearly the best choice. Nevertheless, a variety of factors should also be considered carefully. The value of your investment, whether in bitcoin or altcoins, will fluctuate, and a loss is always possible.
bitcoin is a crypto pioneer, obviously it will be the best choice to date and no one will be able to argue with this.
all investments are guaranteed to always be at risk, including of course crypto, it's just a matter of how to get around it so it doesn't hurt and everything can be learned.
Likewise with crypto, but if you want to invest in bitcoin it will be different from altcoins, because there are quite a lot of altcoins and if you choose the wrong one you can lose money later.
but for bitcoin and ethereum, you only lose in time and you have to be patient waiting for it when the market starts to improve and then sell it.

I agree with what you said, most of the people who invest in altcoins are people with small capital and they want to rely on altcoins to grow their capital as quickly as possible, and that is also the fatal weakness that scammers have captured and exploited.
There's nothing wrong with investing in altcoins, but the mistake people make is being too greedy, they don't take profits when they are profitable but want more and as a result they lose and from there, people start aversion to altcoins. Bitcoin or altcoins are both profitable investments, choose the investment method that suits you best.
I know one great asset from which the profits can be reinvested again and do not worry that you will have an aversion to it, this is bitcoin. I understand what you are saying, if you have a small capital, you want to increase it as quickly as possible, and when it turns out to earn something on altcoins, people do not withdraw profits, but buy altcoins again with these funds in order to make a profit again.

But this is a losing strategy, to some extent it is like an all-in, sooner or later luck will turn away from you and the game will end there. Maybe you are right and altcoins are not that bad for making a profit, but this requires the right strategy.

this is just obvious. why would anyone choose something that could fall apart any time after they buy it? or knowing very well that it is controlled by someone and he has noting he could do about it.
Bitcoin proves again and again to be the mother of all crypto and yet we are here talking about buying alts. I don't know about you and your vision but for me it will always be Bitcoin.
For investment goals that achieve large and quick returns, people prefer alternative currencies over Bitcoin. Even most of those who prefer Bitcoin are long-term investors and very few use it for daily transactions.
Personally, I always prefer the less risky options since I am not an investor. The same reason prompts me to use usdt to freeze my balance while bitcoin price drops. Of course, the usdt currency is also considered an alternative currency, but it is less dangerous in times of falling bitcoin prices and the rest of the major currencies.
In my own opinion I will say that why people prefer investing in altcoin than bitcoin it is because altcoin will be buy or purchase in low price why bitcoin will be purchasing higher price but during a bullish market when altcoin rise you will have a more dollar and altcoin investment if the altcoins can survive a bearish market.

The difference between bitcoin and altcoin is that in most cases the more altcoins there are the more scams there are. But not all altcoins are scams, some coins are much better. But Bitcoin is the best coin in the virtual world. Investors tend to invest more in Bitcoins than Altcoins as they never face losses by investing in Bitcoins.
Bitcoin is in the Main position in Cryptocurrency, All Altcoins start from Bitcoin, This Altcoin is very dependent on Bitcoin. the name of fraud in Altcoin is already familiar to hear, and yes the more Altcoins are added the more this fraud will be born. We all need to study it well, the name of investment is of course there will be risks, both in Bitcoin and Altcoins.

Wise investors will still make Bitcoin the main investment and holding the most important asset, not only that investing in Bitcoin is relatively safe, with a much different level of risk compared to Altcoins. The risk is relatively lower than investing in Altcoins.
Bitcoin leads all Cryptocurrency movements, especially Altcoins.

Bitcoin stands at the top of all currencies it is a very common thing that markets always bounce back after major crashes. Besides investing in good bitcoins is less risky bitcoin price is based on investor demand bitcoin is at an all time high even though demand for investments in other currencies is low. Long term investment will give good returns.

It seems to me a much more logical choice than altcoins. Investing in altcoins is much more risky, of course, you can earn very high profits. But I think bitcoin makes much more sense in the long run.
A very high profit if indeed you are lucky to get 1 good project amidst the thousands of existing scam projects, it's too tiring lol
The risk is too great that many are leaving altcoins and switching to bitcoin. Even though in this case Crypto does have risks but clearly Bitcoin is safer when compared to Altcoins and of course being in bitcoin will be much better than some projects in altcoins which are not very clear.

Of course you are right to some extent, but there are many worthy projects. It's just that the cryptocurrency industry itself is very diverse to itself. But I believe that altcoins are of great importance for the field of cryptocurrencies, since any field of activity can be transferred to the blockchain, and it can be done on the Ethereum platform, since this is the preferred platform.

Yes, we should invest mainly in bitcoin for our safety, but also the importance of altcoins cannot be denied. Altcoins bring diversity to the market and the growth of the crypto industry depends on a lot of altcoins. If talking about alts, in my opinion, ETH is also worth investing in and holding, it is also one of the monuments that have stood next to bitcoin for many years. Bitcoin was the birth of the market, but it was ETH that helped the market grow and diversify as it is today.

Maybe for some other investor which also have huge capital to spend maybe investing only on bitcoin maybe best for them since they can generally play with their money and get profits on every movements, also they can chase its volatility depends on what they prefer compare to those small investors which only have enough balance where they cannot afford to buy expensive btc and earn a little dime on daily volatility that's why other choose alts because this tokens somehow gives huge profit if these investors know how they can play with fire with this.

I agree with what you said, most of the people who invest in altcoins are people with small capital and they want to rely on altcoins to grow their capital as quickly as possible, and that is also the fatal weakness that scammers have captured and exploited.

Actually it all depends on the use and purpose.
If a true investor has money, he prefers to invest in bitcoin with the aim of long-term investment and it is impossible to take advantage of every move, because as far as I know investment does not recognize rising or falling prices, if it has not reached a predetermined target it will never sell this asset unless you're in a pinch and really need the money.
Very different from traders who prefer altcoins because they have very fast movements and can be relied upon to take profits gradually and consistently.
Altcoins also have prices which of course tend to be cheap.
That way traders can still trade crypto using only limited capital.

Making the entry at the right time lets the user make the best out of the investment at the shortest. Whether to go with bitcoin or with altcoins is upto the user's personal  experience. Both bitcoin and altcoin have good track record and it is one's own choice. Even in the investment it is kind of gambling, because based on the market will be profitability out of the Bitcoin/altcoin investment.

Certainly the best option is to just buy both. Altcoins offer immense profitability due to their cheap prices and easier accessibility. Bitcoins on the other hand is already tried and tested and is sure to give anyone who buys it profit in good timing. So personally instead of choosing between the two, it's much better to actually buy bitcoin with a percentage of your investment money and stock up on some good altcoins as well. Basically putting the saying "don't put all your eggs in one basket" to practice

I agree, both cryptocurrencies have their own advantage and offer opportunities.  We will miss out if we ignore one of them.  Bitcoin is safer but altcoin offers bigger profit.  We just need to dig more and research more when dealing with altcoins because of the incident that hacking and rug pulling is an almost ordinary things in this area.

I think there are no references and choices when talking about bitcoin and altcoins, of course bitcoin is far above everything.

Nevertheless, a variety of factors should also be considered carefully. The value of your investment, whether in bitcoin or altcoins, will fluctuate, and a loss is always possible.

Bitcoin is indeed the better choice if you wanted security and liquidity.  But if you wanted profit in a short span of time, altcoin often offers this opportunity.  Investing in both doesn't hurt, besides most financial gurus advice to diversify.

Whe it comes to investments such as these, that comes without any forward of securities, your always advised to invest with only spare cash or that which you can afford to lose. That's more like, preparing yourself for what ever outcome your choice of investment might bring. Either one that might result in a lose or profit, you become okay with either one.
If your able to follow up with such principle and would be good with whatever becomes of your investment, then perhaps you've just got to DYOR on avaliable projects and pick your investment.

Although, I know if I were to choose between them both exclusively, I'll be the more safe with bitcoin. Other than that, I might have to split my investment capital to pick both. With the bulk money going for bitcoin  investments.

Nevertheless, a variety of factors should also be considered carefully. The value of your investment, whether in bitcoin or altcoins, will fluctuate, and a loss is always possible.
Losses are possible only if you sell at a loss, but this factor will only depend on you, so it can be excluded if you have discipline in investments. Consider an example if you bought bitcoin at a price of 20k, and at the moment your investments are at a loss, you can now sell at a price of 17k and this will be a loss -making investment.

But you can just wait, it doesn’t matter how much, how many are required, one or two years, when the price will be 40k, or 80k and your investment will be profitable. You can also use this time when the price has become lower to buy more bitcoin and thus make the purchase price even lower. If you understand what you are doing, then your investments will be profitable if negative news can affect you in such a way that you can sell at a loss, then it is better not to invest in bitcoin, because the situation when the price is going down, can be repeated many times.

cannot avoid all forms of fraud that occur when it comes to dealing with altcoins, the more new altcoins grow, the more likely it is.
but I agree, that there are quite a few that can provide very good returns for those who invest in them. therefore there is nothing wrong with continuing to analyze before you really want to place your funds.
Investing in bitcoin is relatively safer, but it requires sufficient funds to invest in bitcoin, which is different from altcoins because there are many choices that can be made with the funds we do have.

and the profit we will get will be greater when compared to bitcoin which we can only buy less than 1 bitcoin,
For the benefits of both are equally profitable in Altcoins provided you choose the right Altcoin and Bitcoin already guarantees a profit, as I said, if you want to maximize profits in Bitcoin then one way is to invest in the long term.
It's true that it's equally profitable when it's the right time to invest, even if it's a well-known Altcoin, when the time isn't right then losses will haunt you later, indeed the difference between the two is very drastic, both have their own values that make that a difference,  Bitcoin will always be profitable for the owner, but unlike Altcoins, it will actually make us lose money or vice versa.

If our capital is limited then to invest in altcoins is the best way because currently there are very many potential altcoins that we can rely on,
That is one very reliable way, investing in this Altcoin is not too bad, it's just that you have to be careful in choosing which Altcoin you want to invest in, there are some good Altcoins and some are not good, Altcoins that are considered good can be look at the top 10 in the cryptocurrency market, but the Altcoins that are highly recommended are Bnb and Ethereum, these two Altcoins are highly trusted by all Cryptocurrency investors, it is very appropriate to choose Bnb or Ethereum if someone wants to start investing in Altcoins.

But the most appropriate advice for investing in Cyrpto is towards Bitcoin, this bearish market situation is highly recommended for investing your assets in Bitcoin, and it's even better if you invest in the long term.

and the profit we will get will be greater when compared to bitcoin which we can only buy less than 1 bitcoin,
