I think that it is still worth choosing bitcoin, if you choose among the available options. At the very least, the price of altcoin is too dependent on bitcoin, in my opinion.
Although not all but almost most of the bitcoin price will follow the trend that occurs in bitcoin, maybe this is based on bitcoin which is the largest cryptocurrency in existence and also as the crypto that was created for the first time, but not infrequently the altcoin price will fight the bitcoin price during the altcoin season occurs caused by the demand for altcoins which is greater than the interest in buying bitcoins, in my opinion altcoins and bitcoins are mutually binding, but sometimes the two cryptos seem to take their own ways depending on existing market conditions so it is not uncommon for us to see when the price of bitcoin rises instead altcoin also goes up, bitcoin goes down instead altcoin prices have increased and vice versa.

The goal is consistent investment over a long period of time because small Satoshi on has accumulated now will in the future turn many into millionaires.

The only problem is that a million nowadays is not the same as a million 1950.

Leaving sentiments asides, will you advise someone to still buy some Bitcoins (Not up to the value of 1)  if they have an amount of money that will be okay to purchase the equivalent of 1 of a good altcoin with a strong community? Is having some bitcoins (in decimals) more valuable still than having the value of one good altcoin?
I liked altcoins when I first got into crypto, but I learned a terrible lesson.
If you have to buy that new hyped hot coin that will change the future, do a little water testing on the side and put a tiny piece of your portfolio in it but don’t sell bitcoin. Above all bitcoin remains the king.
The goal isn't 1 BTC. The goal is consistent investment over a long period of time because small Satoshi on has accumulated now will in the future turn many into millionaires.

I will advice you to invest in Bitcoin in this season, because it will really help you to feel the good side of Bitcoin when the price hit higher in the market. Don't forget that, whenever Bitcoin price is rising,  altcoins price will be rising too which is the advantage that made many people to prefer Bitcoin than Altcoin. Very easy for you to earn well from your trading, if only you can make Bitcoin your choice like the way other potential traders made it their choice in this season.

The choice is quite simple, namely choosing to buy 1 altcoin that has a strong community or choose to buy bitcoin with the same amount of money but the amount of bitcoin is not the same (decimal).
After I thought about choosing to buy bitcoin even though in a decimal amount is much more profitable if the investment applied is long-term. This is inseparable from every time the movement of market price increases that always follow Bitcoin.
But for both bitcoin anchors are much more recommended, as they have the power to maintain value in the short term as well as the long term.
It's clear that Bitcoin is the best among other cryptos. But when the capital to buy Bitcoin can only be in decimal amounts, then therein lies the choice. Whether Bitcoin in decimal amounts or Altcoin in amounts of 1.
In this case, the best scenario suggestion in my opinion is almost the same as Pandu Geddon's view. Just collect the amount of Bitcoin little by little with the foundation of its value because any amount of Bitcoin will not change its value in the future.

pool more Bitcoins for the long term. and manage altcoin assets for the short term. I usually manage like that. some say certain altcoins work for the long haul. but I just believe Bitcoin will be more suitable long term.
just collect more, no matter the quantity we hold, because of value. Bitcoin has better.

I will prefer Bitcoin over Altcoins even Ethereum and also Binance coin. These Altcoins are centralized and there Hugh chances of scam with users and a lot of people have been scammed either too. So recently FTX collapse is on your sight. So for a long term I will prefer Bitcoin cause it is only future and it can also make my future too.
Bitcoin also offers security and also it's decentralized and is holded by millions of users.

if you believe that the said altcoin is worth comparing to Bitcoin then why not? but do you really believe that there are altcoins that worth more than bitcoin in terms of security and usage ?
because if not then better to focus in Bitcoin than altcoin, that will save you mate from losing maybe not now but in the future.

Talking about choices, it may be very clear that many people will choose bitcoin, because the journey to bitcoin has shown the maturity level of investment. Under certain conditions there is nothing wrong with choosing a potential altcoin, but the most important thing is that it has fundamental value and does not make a long-term investment scheme, meaning that we are only involved in the short term to invest in potential altcoins

But for both bitcoin anchors are much more recommended, as they have the power to maintain value in the short term as well as the long term.

For this one I totally agree with your view, I mean that almost no expert can provide accurate predictions about Crypto's journey, they are only able to make analytical studies based on situations, previous periods and theoretical approaches based on feedback from previous circumstances, but for the level of accuracy can sometimes change or approach the prediction results.

In terms of investment, I think both can also be profitable. This means we can also invest in good altcoins, like Ethereum and BNB, or others. However, Bitcoin can initiate all altcoin movements. If signs of an increase in the crypto market price begin to appear, then Bitcoin will make a price change first, so holding Bitcoin will be more profitable than altcoins. Apart from that, the Bitcoin price increase is generally 10x the base price in each bullrun. In every prediction from crypto experts, they always predict the price of Bitcoin, while Altcoins only follow the flow of Bitcoin.

All real currencies as well as Bitcoin and Altcoins will be at risk, for their holders if they are wrong in using it, sometimes buying the wrong altcoins is buying Bitcoin when the price is still high, and in a bear market situation they throw it away at the lowest price, so all the profits and losses are in  the hands of its users, but if they lose bitcoins or altcoins then it is their negligence in securing their funds in wallets or exchanges, so anything related to economic or financial issues there will be gains and losses, so how do we react to it..

Bitcoin all the way. It is the one coin that I believe will survive no matter what. Not everyone thinks like that, many people believe that there would be a flip and they are going to end up seeing bitcoin not do that great and its going to be other coins that go above it.

However, I believe that we haven't seen anything that would go up. Like I said before, it has to be something other than crypto, it has to be a better thing, some altcoin will not pass bitcoin if you ask me, but if you find something that is bigger and better, it could end up going above bitcoin. I do not know what it is, but it has to be something much easier and better to use as well.
Since Bitcoin is the foundation of the crypto market and is the first cryptocurrency then we don't need to joke with it because it determine how other cryptocurrencies will move. The price might looks somehow deep now but if we can be patient and keep holding what we have then we will finally make big profits from the market.

We can also get some altcoins that looks good for investment after we have done enough research about them so that we won't fall victim like Luna and other similar crypto projects that had fallen without the tendency of reaching the highest height again.

I would suggest buying bitcoin even though you have to buy it in small quantities rather than buying Altcoin units because with bitcoin it is very possible to get maximum profits when the bitcoin price touches ATH again, especially so far bitcoin has been able to survive in any conditions unlike Altcoins which sometimes lose their value , if you want to invest in the long term then investing with bitcoin is highly recommended.

I think I would just open the topic and let them choose between Bitcoin or Alt-coin.
But I also must state the stake or pros and cons for both of it.
If you would open up investment to anyone you should guide them properly and tell them the pros and cons of those investment.
There are some people who would invite others to investment and only talk about the possitive things so others aren't aware of the risk of investment.

In the long run, bitcoin is the best investment, but that doesn't mean altcoins are useless or not profitable for us. However, choosing altcoins is extremely difficult so most people will select Bitcoin for safety.
I agree with BlackRexuz in saying that choosing ETH and BNB will be 2 altcoins that also give you good returns and less risk than the rest. We are here for profit, so don't miss any chance if we get a chance, but be more careful with altcoins.

In any case, the altcoins is a big risk, even if you are talking about the BNB, then there is a risk of a significant correction, firstly, because its price is still high compared to the correction of the entire market, and secondly, the binance is not having the best of times and we cannot rule out that these problems will result in a significant price reduction. In case that happens, then it will be possible to buy some BNB, but doing it now is a bit dangerous.

If you asked me about security and a bright future, I would choose Bitcoin as the winner of that. But if you ask me about investment, I would choose altcoin, but such must be carefully selected and planned.

In the near or far future, I believe that Bitcoin will stay and withstand the test of time because it is one of the few cryptos that could be called truly decentralized. But for investments, it could only earn more in futures trading, while in holding, altcoins would earn multiples for the holders when Bitcoin is still earning little.

Investing in crypto is always risky. I think bitcoin is always a better investment than altcoin because bitcoin will pump one day for sure. So Bitcoin is always a good coin for long term investment. On the other hand in altcoins there is no guarantee that the altcoins you purchase will definitely pump.

It depends, if someone buys altcoins like ETH, BNB, chances are that it will be profitable, it's different when talking about random altcoins that don't have a sale value in all markets, then you have to immediately switch to altcoins that have selling points or well-known altcoins, if you have capital  large then it is recommended to buy Bitcoin, because this is talking about your money to buy bitcoin, enough or not, if not then there is another option, which is to buy ETH, BNB, which have a wide network because they are the highest ranking altcoins, so this is not a matter of pumping  price but has a wide network and the community and investors in it are stronger..
