I don't know but i think bitcoin is too volatile right now and analyses on its market tend to have a lower impact on predicting its price since huge news greatly affects its market and that can't be analyze or predict.
on the other hand i choose other alts because some of alts are resistant to bitcoin's price movement and trend which is a lot more profitable these days.

How can you say that ripple is safer? Did you consider it for being centralize and whose investors or the big holders are banks. What do you think will happen in cryptocurrency if the banks will rule again digital currency is all about anonymously and privacy. Bitcoin is safer and more profitable. Many people trust bitcoin because it is the first and it is established. You can trust bitcoin in terms of making huge profit because its value can't be lower than two thousand US dollars. It cant go down because it has many investors and one of its investors are Islams. In the recent news they already allowed arab countries to invest bitcoins. There are altcoins that are profitable example is ethereum. Ethereum has also a big value than other altcoins and it is really profitable.
Actually it is more profitable to use bitcoin and I think this bitcoin is more safer than other altcoins since bitcoin can be rely for the future since this crypto currency has been operating for many years. And that is enough for us to invest it.
Personally, I would suggest 50% Btc and all rest growing altcoins.

i chose bitcoin. Bitcoin is easily your safest bet for a long term investment but altcoins can of course return higher profits if you choose carefully. But we are still in April, meaning it is too early to say which coin is better than the other because we still have a long way to go in this year 2018. good luck with your investment
