I think there is no match between bitcoin and ripple. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency and ripple is nowhere near of it. It is true that ripple has pumped hard over the past few months but that doesn't mean that it can catch bitcoin.

It is not about whether XRP will catch bitcoin or not, it is more about which one is worth to trade.
In my opinion, XRP is good for short term profit especially for those who have low capital to trade. The pump and dump of XRP is good for day trading while in other hand bitcoin is good for long term profit. So which one is worth to trade? It depends on our goal, but it would be better if we can hold both of them.

Investing in bitcoin is best but why you will sell over all to ripple. Why not invest in these two, bitcoin and ripple could give you more profit. Don't focus in one investment Im not saying bitcoin is not good but investing in other coins would definitely a profitable in your portfolio.
you are right, that you can make several investments, and not focus on just one coin. Even if someone very strongly believes in Bitcoin, the investment in Bitcoin in the future is a very big profit, unlike any altcoin or tokens.

If for long-term investment, of course, bitcoin is more interesting, however, if for short-term or coin throwing at each other then the ripple is much more advisable, but ripple when for the long term is also more interesting.

Hello,

Would it be smart to transfer all the Bitcoin you own to Ripple.
Ripple is rising smoothly and seems very stable and it's not done yet.

What do you think?

Thanks! Smiley
don't take all your btc to exchanged for ripple
it is a bad decision for a portfolio
the risks you will face the greater
I recommend 70% enough for btc and the rest you can use for ripple or other altcoin

Bitcoin over Ripple is the easy choice. It is good to have some Ripple too.
Having some ripple in the portfolio will add value to the holdings as well let the user gain good profit. Anytime bitcoin won't go low to ripple which is an manipulated asset. For trading purpose ripple will be good, because anyone can afford it compared to our bitcoin which leads the entire cryptocurrency.

If the terms of its opportunity to rise to a higher price then I prefer ripple because the price is still small so still has great potential to rise and be a great coin.

Always good to have both of these coins because we can expect higher returns with these coin because the more coins we have. We can make more because both of these coins have huge potential in the market.

I think is not smart to focus only in Ripple especially withdrawing all your BTC account in favor of XRP. Centrality issues hurdle the growth of Ripple. If this issue will be address then most probably XRP would be the best crypto on town. But as of the moment people perceive that XRP is not a cryptocurrency thats make this not a favorable coins out of the market.

It would not be a good decision to do that, I mean you don't have to choose one between this two so why not divide your chose like 50%-50%?
Its good to have more that one coin for keeping and holding.

How sure are you that Ripple's rising trend is not done yet? Ripple has already risen in value very high. I think I would choose Bitcoin for now. Bitcoin is already down there and so the potential profit is coming there. We all know that the easy money in crypto is coming from the dips. Bitcoin is already down to around 50% from its previous all time high. The resistance in $9,000 is a bit hard to break though. But I am more than sure we will get across that within February.

Hello and welcome!

No, that would not be a good idea. Neither of them has guaranteed success, so it would be unwise to put all eggs in one basket by only being invested in one coin. Try to assess their respective success potential, and diversify your investment accordingly.

If you have to choose one, what will you choose? Thought.
I will choose bitcoin for sure. I know the price is high now and possiblity to win is not so big chance but i yet love bitcoin rather than ripple which is centralized.

Ripple because the value is smaller, it is precisely this kind of small value can still be to develop or grow into a coin that cost higher. Therefore the opportunities to large still ripple.

If we talking about profit I suggest to buy more ripple and for sure you will make mote prodit because the price is around $1 only and it easy to increase the price in the future like 10 times more.  Yes you can make profit  from bitcoin but it's only some profit because it's hard to increase more the price because the price is very high and it takes longtime to increase the price. But it's better if you have bitcoin and ripple so you can make more profit.

I choose xrp, because the price is still cheap and will continue to rise so we will get a profit while bitcoin is expensive and the risk of loss is very high.

Why would you buy Ripple? Can't banks already transfer money practically for free? It's not like banks need Ripple to avoid fees. The banks are the ones charging the fees. I just don't understand Ripple...

You know what is faster and can process more transaction than XRP? Centralised database Tongue
The only time xrp goes up significantly is the time when yet another institution starts testing it. Note the "testing" not "adopting" verb Smiley
