[...] Poi vedremo, se il prossimo anno vincerà un quadro, e non una pizza, magari gli organizzatori scenderanno ai ripari.
OK, what do you suggest? I don’t think there is a better way to combine such a number of applications (about 110), the aesthetics of the competition and objectivity.
I also think that my pizza is a masterpiece, but it didn’t seem to get enough votes just because the photo angle was not suitable. Imagine if I posted 2 photos of each pizza... how much space would that take up?
There is, of course, a way out for next year... 5-6 people (including those who will win this year) by a joint decision determine the 20 best pizzas and people are already voting, choosing the winners from those selected.
As already said in the previous post, my idea is pretty much the same as icopress': the competition is becoming bigger and bigger, thus more complicate to manage, and since it's a bitcoin-inspired event for me it would make more sense having a pizza that somehow represents bitcoin rather than having a perfect Margherita pizza Neapolitan style because for sure it'll be delicious but what's the connection with bitcoin?
@icopress
I think you're really overcomplicating this and your ideas would make the competition too subjective and open to personal interpretation. What does it even mean "pizza with the most refined ingredients"? Are you talking about San Marzano tomatoes and mozzarella di bufala? Or lobster, truffles, saffron, pata negra, etc? And tradition for who? Depending on who you ask they'll give you different answers.
