Where did you get the boxes?  They are really nice.
I have a couple coins I would love to put in nice boxes that do not cost an arm and a leg.
They were 3.49 Canadian Dollar, so around 3.21 American Dollar. It comes with an airtight case and those styrofoam white rings so you can fit any coin in them. They have two different version, No.3 and No.5. The difference between two types are the styrofoam white rings. The No.3 case can adjust be adjusted to a diameter of 18/23/28/33/38 mm and the mat of No.5 case can adjust their diameter to 20/25/30/35/40 mm.

They can be found here: Single Coin Display Case Blue Gift Box.

Wow, great picture, and you managed to score some of the more rare of the collectibles.  Well done my friend.

Some of our Certificates of Authenticity are made to accompany the special award pieces.
There are a lot of folks that put work into this project.  Almost all are doing it because they believe in it and want it to succeed rather than for compensation, so many of the certificates have personal notes on them, thanking them for the specific things for which they are awarded.

Preev.com for example, was very helpful in advising on some of the methods used for the coldhardca.sh site, some of the design elements were supplied by community members, and some of those they didn't even realize when they inspired something.

Others provided some financial support with pre-ordering (which tends to accelerate things because I really don't like owing things to people).
Ah, I see. Well that is quite noble thing to do. If you ever need someone to change the coldhardca.sh site a bit, just tell me and I will gladly do it for you. Wink

There are some upcoming changes.  (Such as adding in the gold pricing and bi-directional quoting)
If you want to contribute to this, we can discuss it more...

Please accept my apologies for not being more clear, English is my native tongue but certainly it is not so for everyone so the responsibility is mine for being less than specific.

Specials (such as the pizza day hand stamped commemorative) are priced at 2x the normal price, (though I have seen them at up to 20x in secondary markets such as eBay).

The first screen is what pricing would look like for 1 PIZZA DAY special.  Please notice that the quantity is set to 2.  You could get two normal Bitcoin Specie for this price, or you can get 1 PIZZA DAY special, with airtite, and shipping.

The second would be for 5 PIZZA DAY specials, you can see that the premium (which is the blue number) goes down at this quantity.  It will go down again at 20ozt (or 10 specials).
The third screen would be for 15 specials, or 30 normal bitcoin specie.

Please let me know if you have more questions on this.

Here is a shot of one without the case.

Its out of focus, but the stamp is two pizzas with 10K BTC below.

They can be ordered direct or currently from HardBTC.org, though I don't think they have them on their site yet.

Pricing is at http://coldhardca.sh
Each of these counts as 2x and includes basic shipping and an airtite.

If you send payment to the address in my profile

Copy the Txid and the quantity ordered into a PM and let me know your shipping address, I will get them out to you swiftly.
Are you saying 0.05 is for 2 coins, an airtite and shipping?

I can do anticounterfeitable CoA, and have relationships with folk that print that paper fiat money stuff who do a pretty good job at making paper documents that are difficult to forge.
The collectibles are really VERY low volume pieces.  So to do CoA for all of them, raises the price for everyone.

When we do Gold items, or display type items, or hard to discern items (First Strikes, proof pieces, etc) we do use CoA for those as well as a variety of nice display options.
Hmmm, that sounds logical and reasonable. I would love to have a CoA though, haha. Just because it's awesome to have. How much would it cost me to one or a few? Smiley

Is there any plans to include assay cards or at least CoAs with these coins?

I'd rather not have to destroy every coin with an acid test when/if I ever go to sell them
That is a great question. I have been wondering if I could get one of those as well. I have two Cold Hard Cash coins and having something that can proof their authenticity would be amazing!

Some of the special editions have had CoA.

CoA are easier to forge than the silver is though.
Future CoA may come with additional anti-counterfeit measures.

The only known counterfeit coins of these are pretty poor imitations and easily distinguished.

Fundamentally, these are not made to be collectibles that sit in a drawer.  They are meant to be used in the same way that the silver dollars were back when they were silver.
Well, we both know how great those counterfeit coins look. Lips sealed And yes, I know that your coins aren't meant to be kept as a collectible, but special occasion coins (like the Pizza one) will be most likely used as one, just because of the fact that it celebrates a special event. Having a CoA for them might be something that (some) people want.
