All happened in a row.. provably fair? What... lol

Hi tunerheat,

Sorry to see you've had a run of bad luck. However, all games are indeed provably fair and the details of how to verify this can be found below:

Quote
PLAYING VIDEO POKER AT BITCOIN VIDEO CASINO IS PROVABLY FAIR

Play with confidence! We guarantee that every Video Poker game you play at Bitcoin Video Casino is completely fair. You will be dealt a completely random deck of cards every game, and we can provably demonstrate that we have in no way manipulated the shuffle.

Instead of just taking our word for it, we make available all of the information you need to verify that our game is fair.

The reason that we can guarantee this is that your web browser supplies a random number that we must incorporate into the random number generator in a provably consistent way. Our server first shuffles the deck, and your computer then gives us a random number that we must use to repeatedly cut the deck. Since our servers do not know what random number your computer will send, we have no way of knowing how the shuffle will look in the end.

To manually verify a game that has been played, press the green verify button in the MY GAMES table after a game has been played.

THE NITTY GRITTY DETAILS

Before the game has started, a random seed number is first chosen by our server.

We then create an SHA-256 hash of this server seed and send it to your web browser. This hash serves as a sort of encryption of the original seed number chosen by the server. From this hash you can not identify the seed number chosen, but you can later use it to verify that we did not change the seed number afterwards.

These steps take place before any credits have been played by the user.

Your web browser then sends our server a random seed number. Your web browser just selects any random number, although technically there is nothing preventing the client from sending any number it wants. The point is that our server has no way of knowing what this random number will be.

After the server receives this client seed number, it combines the server seed and the client seed into a single final game seed. For example, if the server seed was 7UDVbLn6Ct2a4ZHLHVPGu6MoccaZZ3hbzkwUoLxDSEKU and the client seed was 1293771171, then the final game seed will be 7UDVbLn6Ct2a4ZHLHVPGu6MoccaZZ3hbzkwUoLxDSEKU1293771171. The server is required to use the server seed that it picked earlier, since the client can later use the previously received server hash to verify this. Therefore, the server has no control over what the final game seed will be, and therefore has no way to manipulate the outcome of your game.

Finally, this game seed is used as the input into the Mersenne Twister algorithm, which creates a random number sequence from an initially ordered deck of cards. This deck of cards is then used to play the next game of Video Poker.

Once the game is finished, the server reveals the server seed that it initially chose. The client can then verify that the hash of this server seed does indeed match what the server originally sent before the game started. Your web browser will automatically verify that everything was legitimate. The JavaScript source code that checks this is publicly available at https://bitcoinvideocasino.com/static/.

This is literally the biggest scam casino I've ever played on. It's worse than vegascasino.io

I am absolutely disappointed with these fake vouches from your multi-accounts.

I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS CASINO AT ALL COSTS. ALL THESE VOUCHES ARE FAKE FROM HIS OWN ACCOUNTS MADE UNDER DIFFERENT IP'S

I will not be playing on your casino anymore.

Bitdice is scam scam scammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Did you sell licence and code to Bitcoin.com > https://games.bitcoin.com/ or they just copied your games?
Even sound effects are same along with house edge and games, layout is slightly modified reminds of SatoshiCasino when they were online.

That's correct, 'Bitcoin Games' at https://www.games.bitcoin.com utilises our codebase. Cool

Blackjack can be SO frustrating (lost 18 of 21 hands to end one session)

However, I actually, for the first time in my life, hit 4 blackjacks in a row earlier.  And with a bigger bet than usual.   It's a crazy game, but these guys always pay, always reply to emails, and have helped me every time I've had an issue.

Shady world of online gambling - I have no issue saying I trust these guys.

Thanks for your vote of confidence, jonasBTC! Smiley

Thanks for the reply, it's good to know it is safe to play.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes I did recently start sending coins from one address to another, then immediately to the BVC address because the wallet where I purchase my coins sent me a "you can't send money to gambling addresses per TOS" email, so I have started using an intermediate wallet which does not have a gambling restriction to get around this rule. I'll make some changes to try to avoid the multiple address problem. -Andy

Ah, the issue there is likely because you spent funds from an unconfirmed transaction and our system picked that up as unusual! If you ensure that your BVC deposits come from addresses in which the BTC are fully confirmed prior to sending them to us you shouldn't have many issues, if any. Smiley

Out of interest, what's the wallet where you purchase your BTC? It'd be interesting to know so we can advise our players to use a different service if that one causes issue. Feel free to PM if you don't feel comfortable stating it publicly.

Cheers! Smiley

These days most casinos have moved away from the 0 confirmations to the 1 confirmation policy is because its very easy to do a double spend OR send fund an account with 0 mining fees and get a refund after 2-3 days. So don't be surprised but most casinos these days do this to protect themselves.

I really enjoyed the no wait policy. For some reason when I now make deposits I get this message: We will credit your account after 1 confirmation. What happened to the 0 confirmation wait? Sometimes I have to wait 20-25+ minutes for 1 confirmation if there is a long time before the next block is found. Have sent over 40 BTC over the past several months without any problems... What's up with this? Is this standard now?

Walden

Hi Walden,

Sometimes our system waits for one confirmation for transactions that are marked as high risk for double spends, but most deposits are still credited instantly. The double spend risk is nothing you need to be concerned about yourself, it's just a technical issue with how some Bitcoin transactions are sent. You can normally get around this by ensuring that an appropriate fee is added to the transaction prior to sending, and ensuring that the deposit comes from a single address rather than a number of change addresses.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause!

Tried the site for the first time and I like that you guys have 0 confirmation policy. Also I was lucky to hit a 9 line win with a .05 profit in one spin with a .002 bet on your slots really made my day.  Cheesy Here's my proof for the haters and manage to cash out .078 including my deposit.

Was a good site but lately plagued by latency issues and I've had something like 20 Craps session losses in a row so not sure what's going on with the random seeds - that shouldn't be possible.

I'm going to move on past this one and find another site but good luck out there.
