What is the bet size on those big jackpots?
I'm assuming the player used the highest bet size per credit which was 0.01 btc/0.2btc per spin. When hitting 5 wilds multiplies your credit up to 10000 times.
Hi guys,
The player who won this Slots Progressive Jackpot played using the largest credit size - 0.01 BTC.
I just gotta say that this is exactly how you would run a site. Kudos to the BVC owner here. Seems to care about the users. From what I can tell, people do seem to get their BTC. You got a good thing going here, so don't screw this up now.
Notice how you can make a lot of money by keeping this open and honest. No need to say "We got hacked, BTC stolen" and disappear.
Keeping it up like you do now, and this can be very lucrative for you.
Maybe you could increase trust by some proof of how safe the BTC in the casino are?
Thanks so much for the kind words, Chillance! We certainly do care very much about our users and want to ensure a pleasant experience for them when playing at our casino; our players keep the roofs over our heads and food on the table.
I think our status as one of the longest standing Bitcoin casinos on the Internet serves to demonstrate both the high regard in which we hold all of our players, big and small, and also our trustworthiness as visible from the lack of complaints about BVC.
Withdrawals are always instant (once all previous deposits have received 2 confirmations) unless the site hot-wallet needs to be refilled to pay out large wins, and in those cases we manually authorize the withdrawal within a maximum of 8 hours - though usually it's all completed within the hour. We pride ourselves on the ease of use of our casino, as well as our dedication to ensuring high levels of player satisfaction. If there's ever an issue we're always very happy to help, and players can reach us 24/7 either here by PM or preferably via email at
[email protected].
We have absolutely no intention of 'disappearing into the ether' as it were; we hugely enjoy what we do and our reputation is of the utmost importance to us.
Regarding site funds, in order to limit risk we keep our hot-wallet limited to under 40 BTC as much as possible, with all other site funds being held in cold storage. We've been online since late 2012 and in that time have managed to keep our site completely secure, never losing any player funds, so I think we have a pretty good track record. Of course you can never say never when it comes to site security, but our limited hot-wallet automatically reduces the amount of funds that could possibly be stolen should an attacker manage to successfully exploit our casino, and funds have to be manually moved from cold storage to the hot-wallet so there couldn't be a 'run' on the casino bank, so to speak.
We regularly pay out large jackpots of well over 100 BTC too and have never had an issue doing this (we also add 100 BTC to both the Video Poker and Slots Jackpots ourselves once they've been taken down by a lucky player) so we certainly have the reserves to cover any losses that might ever occur due to successful exploitation of our very secure site.
You raise a very interesting point though, and I'll speak to the rest of the team about the possibility of providing a signed message from a cold storage address to show proof of reserves. Thanks so much for your comments, and I hope you enjoy your games at Bitcoin Video Casino!
Cheers!
