BITCOIN vs ETH ? your thoughts ?
I think they will both be successful but with much different use cases. Bitcoin will be a store of value like digital gold and Ethereum with be the platform in which other cryptocurrency companies are built. It will also be one of a few transaction currencies.

BTC VS ETH. I would like to know if such a contest is a price comparison or a technical comparison or a comparison of application prospects. In fact, both are good coins. They have their own fields and are very successful in their own fields. So if you want to invest in one of them, then my advice is to diversify your investment.
I do not like to put money on one component, bitcoin and ETH are two very promising investments so I will share my money, and for now I will share a larger portion for ETH.
Both are the most valuable investment presently though, but Bitcoin still remains the most standard decentralized digital currency, can't determine what the future will be, but now BITCOIN is still the best.
Bitcoin and ETH are two strong coin and have a lot of potential. No matter how the market fluctuates, the two coin prices are still the highest in the cryptocurrency market. I think their future will be higher and higher.
I choose Ethereum as I think it could be one of the best cryptocurrency to invest 2018. Julian Hosp, a blockchain expert, said that the market cap of Ethereum could rise to $200 billion by the end of 2018. Furthermore, Ethereum also plans to improve their technology a lot this year, with new protocols almost ready to go.

Of course they are both a great investment indeed but the bitcoins have been here for a longer time than ethereum so they are much better but if younare talking about alternative then ethereum it the one for it because they are the most successful altcoins that are existing so I am investing on them both and I do not need to choose because I can do it both but if ever that they have the same age maybe the ethereum is very competitive and hard to beat
Ethereum is a good platform for other projects, due to this it holds a leading position. Bitcoin is the most perfect coin on the market, it is not worth comparing them
Bitcoin is the first choice, and it will keep growing. ETH faces some challenges. Many altcoin try to go beyond.
I think in the future, ETH will gradually outstrip bitcoin. Smart contracts are very much in demand now, and in the future this demand will be dominant.
I choose Bitcoin because it is the leader of cryptocurrency market. And in my opinion, it is always the best coin to invest in long-term. A study predicts that the Bitcoin price can go up from 9267.000 USD to 18943.30 USD in one year, equal to a long-term earning potential of +104.42%.
Bitcoin is now dominant in the world of cryptocurency, because it is expensive and many are interested.
I prefer Ethereum, because unlike Bitcoin, Ethereum is not just a digital currency. It is a more advanced blockchain project. This is because Ethereum offers something special — by using Ethereum’s platform, developers can build their own cryptocurrencies. So, in my view, Ethereum is more potential than Bitcoin in this year.
I think for now still BTC which remains the best. because I believe BTC is more profitable than ETH.
Both bitcoin and EThereum are good investment options. I think the Ethereum is technically more advanced than bitcoin. But because bitcoin was the first. Ethereum can't go beyond bitcoin.

Both are perfect ones and the future of the coins will be dependent of these two coins hopefully. Ethereum will shape the technology of the future, bitcoin will shape the payment methods of the future, from my perspective.
Never consider them as enemies, they're are supporting each other eventually, even the communities differ.
Because now bitcoin is not eligible for payment method i think. Its only good for future investment so i hope the developer can develop more so it will be low fee and the transaction is fast.
Both of them are a good, very valuable and good investment. But if can choose one, i choose bitcoin over eth because bitcoin is a legal currency in some countries so you can use it multiple ways, but the problem is, not everyone can reach bitcoin's price.
Bitcoin and Ethereum are both the best discoveries of this century to me, and I hear Bitcoin is the "father of cryptocurrency" while Ethereum is the "father of the smart contract", though I do not understand them.
Father here is because the BTC was born first in the market. BTC prices are always leading in the market, they are the highest on the market today and all the coins are fluctuating according to the price of BTC. 
Bitcoin is obviously the bigger and better project between the two. Bitcoin was the very first cryptocurrency and it is the reason that we have a market to trade and invest in. Although ethereum is a great project and will continue to grow just like bitcoin, I think bitcoin will always surpass it in terms of market prices and market value and there is no way to change that.
I am sure that both of these coins will only increase in price in 2018. in my opinion, bitcoin looks more promising and more stable from the cryptocurrency market. so I didn't invest my money then I would invest in bitcoin.
