I choose Bitcoin. Well, not without reason it is the most expensive cryptocurrency in the world?
Bitcoin has already got its value to the peak but Ethereum has remained to be gain more in the next two years. The price of Ethereum must go $5000 till 2019.
Ethereum is an advancement based on the principle of blockchain that supports bitcoin but with a purpose that does not compete with Bitcoin. However, the popularity and rising market capitalization of Ether brings it in competition with all cryptocurrencies, especially from the trading perspective. Currently, the market cap of Ether (ETH) is more than Ripple and Litecoin, although it’s far behind Bitcoin (BTC). On the whole, Bitcoin and Ethereum are different versions using the blockchain technology, and are set to establish themselves, driven by different intentions.
Bitcoin and Eth have differences like they said Bitcoin is the mother of coins but Eth have more ICO but for me I go with Eth even Btc and Eth are good investors but still i feel ETH can surpass Btc in future 
Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are good in different aspects because Ethereum is best known for short term investment and Bitcoin is good for long term investment. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are good in different aspects. Bitcoin can be seen as a currency whereas ETH is a platform for running decentralized apps. I will go with ETH since it is pretty popular with new digital currencies and new ICOs that promote new cryptos. In terms of saving or holding, I will go with BTC since bitcoin is really making a good price pump these days.
In my own opinion, bitcoin is the best since they are the one who provides more income than eth. Bitcoin is the king of crypto so can assure you that they can provide a better life that you wanted.

Although we always earn income from eterium-based altcoins but in the end we have to convert back to BItcoin to find out the selling price of the coin, although it can use eterium but more often we use is Bitcoin, so I think if you have to choose which one is best, both coins it has each function and I will choose both coins.

Bitcoin and ethereum has both earning power if invested in it , but both too has more fees to pay before your transactions can goes through. Bitcoins is a leader in ICo and ethereum is best for smart contract.

Bitcoin stay the main coin on market but his dominance will be 7-15%. The are a lot of intresting and promissing coins and tokens on market. You can get more profit with altcoins in 2018 than is you stay in Bitcoin. Ethereum i think is better for investments than BTC in this year and with ETH you will get more profit, i predict Ethereum price 7000$ in December 2018.

Invest 50% in both, they are both good coins and you will see profit in both for sure.
