Theoretically it is true, there is anhuge possibilty that bitcoin will become world currency and fiat will die, however that still needs to be studied, considering the fact that bitcoin is volatile and is becoming to be more of an asset than a currency as of now. I think bitcoin will become the standard of currency in the coming years and probably by the next generation fiat will be obsolete and digital currency will be the norm.
Bitcoin will soon become the most popular online currency if it has not already happened. But to be dependent in economy of the whole world for this it is necessary to introduce person identification with passport confirmation and only after that bitcoin can be recognized as legal throughout the world and then bitcoin company will be able to create its banks and build their way for conquering world.
There will need to be some sort of regulation at some point because this madness with ICCO scmas simply cannot continue if we expect crypcurrencies to grow and become the way the world spends money. I mean if you think about it maybe 10% of all crypto money currently is scams. That is way too much for my liking and it needs to stop at some point.

No, it isn't. Media also give us the opposite news. Federal bank prepare a coin to compete btc, many countries banned bitcoin, it's an obstacle for bitcoin also for us as bitcoiners. There a lot more powerful stuff to control world economy foods,goods,money. Bitcoin have to beat them to become the one who control world economy but becareful they are protected by the government and also many governments against bitcoin. CMIIW 
I dont think bitcoin can affect the world economy more likely it will only coexist with and governments may try to get rid of it by banning ICO's just like china, Argentina and russia did. Because it is completely decentralized and no one owns it and no one will ever will. And it is also a threat to their own local fiat currencies so they will surely try to stop it.
Yes, I have the same thought on the matter. Bitcoin is quite powerful, aside from its popularity, it cannot be manipulated and valuable too. It can easily control the economy.
The answer to your question is NO, will bitcoin control country in which it was illegal or not recognized, the word WORLD is not just a piece of cake that we can easily make do with. In the nearest future I don't see it happening

If you would let money run over your entire life and let it decide for you then you're worst. That's true to some extent. Bitcoin is dependent on a macroscale exobomy tonexist for it to have any use cases. It's an alternative and even better to use in certain use cases. However, not the best to use as primary currency in many use cases. It's success has very much been based on it's dollar price. full member

Most importantly dollar price has been doing great development for so many long years its price being stable. So as bitcoin pricr now dominates the entire digital currency system, I don't think it will have to control the world's economy but it has an independence bodies that really are controlling it's own economy. It has a separation between fiat and digital currency, and its proven through digital and fiat exchanges or trading sites.
