This is the War of all coin to take heart of many people and make price up. When the coin can't take the heart of people  enought to survive, they will be down and dead. But, for coin has always give inovations will be fight for long periods.

not forever bitcoin continues to grow, and certainly very unlikely when bitcoin to destroy altcoin because the longer altcoin also experienced an increase in price and others.

The Crypto world is decentralized rather than centralized. The death of a coin depends on the user. if the demand for the coin increases then the price will rise as well, vice versa. What resulted in the dead coin was the absence of the user using the coin.
So it could be the bitcoin that died because of the request or the user moved to another coin eg ethereum or altcoin the other. Likewise otherwise altcoin will die if the request or users move to bitcoin. Yeah we will se that in the future.

Bitcoin is now tamed and a lot of altcoins are recovering or rising. I also did not expect altcoins that was supposed to be dead that are coming back to life like Siacoin and Bytecoin which is now back in the game.

I had the same fear because 6 months ago if bitcoin goes down altcoins would go down even harder x2-3 times but now they go at the same %Think that we have higher chance for people to realise that bitcoin technology is old and the torch of crypto will be given to alts to carry the light among the people

BTC might be the flagship of crypto currencies but I strongly doubt it when it comes to evaluate the tech specs. The all PoW logic is a dead end in the long run and the first signs are already there with alarms coming from different sources complaining about the BTC network power consumption.

The mid and long range future has to be for a better solution and that is PoS.

BTC will keep the dominance for a number of years but it will be surpassed by better tech, no question about that.

Bitcoin does not seem to stop growing

2018 Altcoin is dead

We know all that Bitcoin is the best among all the cryptocurrencies but the possibility of putting the altcoins behind is the impossible thing to happen. If Altcoins will going to be dead it does not because of bitcoin and I'm sure if that would happen to alcoins then same thing will be for bitcoin. But since both of this are impossible so we will always witness the future on how Bitcoin and Altcoins will progress.

As Bitcoin rises in value it will stabilize and become less fluid - for this we're probably talking $1m per coin - rather than kill altcoins it will encourage investment and alt currency pairing - much like the Norwegian currency is used in FIAT markets.

Bitcoin just take a big dump ! And a lot of alt is in red too and if bitcoin goes up altcoin is also red ! I think it's good to hold half in bitcoin and half in Altcoin, that way you will suffer less when bitcoin pump or dump ! And if bitcoin goes sideway then your altcoin will gain lots of value

Its a process some altcoins go Boom then decline and another capture the market so can not say that Bitcoin will kill the altcoins,Bitcoin has its own investors and altcoins have also huge amount of investors who professionally trade and earn profit.

Rapid BTC growth may reduce investors interest in alts. But this does not kill alts completely. Some low cap coins are simply at the bottom and wait for the right moment to grow

Theres only one way how bitcoin can kill all altcoins: Thats when bitcoin will loose all his value. When these day comes, all altcoins will die too. Thats the only possible scenario.

absolutely nonsense...if people sell BTC to buy altcoins.. BTC will drop to hell and altcoins will rise, there is just a shift of cash. There are MANY more usefull altcoins than bitcoin itself.. and someday it will be replaced as was VHS, floppy diks, 56kb modem, MSN Messenger...
but hey... you can go all in in BTX and croos  your fingers..      but one thing is for sure, at least me, i wont put a cent on it!

You can see that this does not happen when the altcoin is rising very strongly, the dominant is the x10 altcoin today. Because investors are very interested in the crypto market, the flow of capital into this market makes the market a lot of significant improvement. I think the next time this market continues to grow very strong.
Yes I agreed. Im a huge fan of bitcoin and im glad that bitcoin is continuing to grow. But I dont think that is an enough reason for as to conclude that bitcoin will going to kill altcoin. Perhaps there a lot of altcoin now a day that showing their strength in the market. That they can still grow even after a hard fall down because of bitcoin. They are now regaining their price and hopefully continue until next week.

No such thing is going to happen. No coin is going to kill another coin. Bitcoin will work along side by side together with other coins without any issue. As long as bitcoin exists, all other alt coins will survive! Honestly saying, both bitcoins and other altcoins are closely related.

Today BTC fell, and the world of the cryptocurrency was shocked. Many strong altcoins appear, as well as new ones. Do not worry, but they will. Not these, so others

Coca Cola hasn't killed off the myriad of small local soda producers, the dollar has not killed small regional currencies.
Altcoins are here to stay, like vines on the large oak tree that is Bitcoins.

Yeah mate! Totally agree with you, some good comparisons here!

Even if the whole crypto hype turns out to be a bubble anytime soon, it is still a bubble that will stay. Blockchain technology is here to stay and so is Bitcoin and so are all alts that have a real use case and bring a benefit to people.

Well, I dont agree with you.

Bitcoin might increase in price way more in the near future, but I dont think that this rise will kill the altcoins.

Altcoins and Bitcoin can coexist. As there are many new alts with different use cases they will also prevail in my opinion.

I love the the crypto space offers great variety! Love those precious alts and love that Bitcoin!

There are a ton of better alternatives to Bitcoin out there. Don't be so short-sighted that just because it has the first mover advantage that it will win. Many others with a first mover advantaged have come and gone, just look at social media.

I think in 20 years the top 10 cryptocurrencies may be completely different from what we see today. It's going to happen faster now that the market is flooding with new teams working on new innovations. It's not like 2008 - 2013 where there were literally no other real players around.
