Bitcoin does not seem to stop growing

2018 Altcoin is dead

Bitcoin & altcoins will usually co-exist for long. Bitcoin will slow down shortly, then all major alts will make a high jump Smiley

Bitcoin does not seem to stop growing

2018 Altcoin is dead
Some altcoins do have different markets which means no matter how the price of bitcoin soars up it has nothing to do with those alts even though most of them do rely on bitcoins price but yet saying that they would gone because of btc then its an impossible stuff because theres a strong support and people who do buy on those alts which means it would stay no matter what as long theres a market then bitcoin cant do nothing and also come to think off that its much better to have alts because it would extent the possibility on making money even more rather than on having bitcoin alone.

No you're wrong. Most alts are superior to Bitcoin in terms of speed, scalability, security, anonimity...
So if BTC community keeps fighting each other with these hardforks it will probably be the other way around: alts will kill bitcoin.

Expecting a real stop from bitcoin is not that for real. Altcoins are losing value against bitcoin. This is not a new thing on exchanges. Bitcoin won't kill them they have a mutual relationship but it will dominate hard over the altcoins.

haha. you are kidding me? Look the development of Dash, Monero, Bitcoin cash, IOTA and Litecoin in 2017 and you said that Bitcoin will kill altcoin? I dont think so. Bitcoin never has ability to do that.

it's just cyclic, now it's BTC turn then will be the alt's turn. Look at this year, from march since august more or less all alts had insane gains against BTC, from 10x since 200x, so wait, manage your losses balancing your portfolio and enjoy gains when alts are back

I think bitcoin with its strongest position at this time will not kill altcoin, because altcoin currently has its own position and power in cryptocurrency, so it is impossible if bitcoin kills altcoin.

A very big NO, that wouldn't happen, so far as Bitcoin exists, Altcoins will always be there.
The only thing that is going to happen is that most alts which have no significant usage or which doesn't have a place of application in the real world are the ones that might not be able to survive longer. But for others, they will always be there.

You only need to look at what happened this year...when BTC started climbing, many alts (like ETC, LTC, etc.) shot up with it...more aggressively actually.

There are things you can learn from history. Wink

Than kill itself? Bitcoin can't live alone in this space. Actually it kills no coin, altcoins stay stable while bitcoin rises so the only thing happening now is bitcoin's rise

Not sure about that. if the bitcoin grow more and more altcoin will be following it but the fact that will lost a lot in the bitcoin value if the price of the altcoin doesn't increase a lot.
As the crypto trend and that makes the bitcoin looks like has unlimited demand in this time.

its just common sense my friend without bitcoin everything will be gone. BITCOIN is the mother of all altcoins its easy to understand

There is a major fallacy in your logic.

I agree that BTC opened the doors for all crypto currency...BUT it doesn't mean they will disappear if BTC dies.

Did you and your parents disappear when your great-great grandparents die?Huh  I know the answer to this...

Bitcoin growth that does not stop will certainly kill some altcoin, which can survive only altcoin that has function and usage

Too many FUD spreaders...or just totally ignorant?   Roll Eyes

BTC is king (for now), no question about that.  It's value is because of fame being the 1st.  No one can take that away from it.  These threads fitting coins against each other are USELESS.  Coins/tokens co-exist...some will die, new ones will be born...life goes on.

That said, BTC (being the 1st) is a dinosaur and trying to evolve (thus all the forks) to be more like the new "alt coins".  It's future depends on how well it will do.  Otherwise, it really won't have any use other than "holding wealth" while the rest have target future use.

For investors, both BTC and alts offer many opportunities, just waiting to be exploited by those who see it.  I am sure the ones who believe only on one will miss out.

I dont think altcoin will die on 2018. Bitcoin is unstoppable continue rising nowadays, but we dont spec what happen on the next day, months or years. Other altcoin give us a better profit to gain, its a good terms to claim.

Even if bitcoin reaches to outer space altcoins won't die as they have so many different uses. Bitcoin grow even helps altcoin adoption more and more. I deny this claim.

If Bitcoin goes, it will take pretty much everything with it.  How many options are there to buy non-BTC crypto?  Just a few from the top 10 as far as I know, so it'll be difficult to push cash into alts, its going to come from falling BTC.

Strange thing to say really, at a time when so many alts have reached new heights this year, and even these few days. I am holding Litecoin, which has never been so high, beyond all my expectations.

And Bitcoin has given birth to at least two new altcoins this year alone, remember Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold? Would they be around if not for Bitcoin? Short and simple answer is no.

Let us stop for a moment to think about where we are thanks to Bitcoin.
