The only reason bitcoin will die is doomsday and or when internet in the whole world shuts down permanently. But for sure it won't happen, because we are now living in a digital world and internet technology updates every now and then. So sit back, relax and enjoy the profits and benefits of bitcoin because it will stay more longer.
True man, as far as the internet never seize to move on crytpos, especially Bitcoin will never stop becoming a new thing to others, a digital gold indeed, I always wish I new this wey back 2010, I would have even been richer than Sathoshi himself.

A lot of competitors wants to bitcoin as soon as possible because they want to their project to become successful or possible to become next bitcoin. What ever happen im here to bitcoin and I think after few months only it will recover and possible to reach more higher price and bitcoin become stronger again and it will not die this year.
There are two types of people that want to see bitcoin die. Those that missed the boat and are really annoyed about it, the others are government agencies who don't want bitcoin to compete with their local fiat currency
Yes you're right, bitcoin is popular now and have a factors that will catch the attention of the people, there is a lot of agencies or banks that will give a big discount to be the member of their banks and to invest them and that is the one way they compete bitcoin but even biycoin don't give move it still be popular and many people will interested to it even it has a low value right now. 
As you can see that BTC is the largest crypto among all in the market, I just really do not understand why people like to claim that BTC is about to die, do not easily fall for these kinds of topics and think that Bitcoin is dying, put some research on it, its just another person's opinion but again it is misleading. One last thing before you reply, this is extremely important and might be a big help for you (especially for newbies) avoid agreeing with such wrong info given to you, be sure to take extra care in replying, and the most important part of all is that you should make some research and do not forget to read the thread (if necessary) it is also important as you can gain new information from other people, though just make sure that what you are reading is very much legitimate.

They just keep on saying that bitcoin will die to either troll people or out of jealousy since they missed their own opportunity to invest on bitcoin. They try to scare people off so that the people start selling their investment and cause a price drop. But for lots of people getting a -50% value in initial bought value is definitely a big hit and many would simply question about it, and these circulating post are mostly made by new members from my observation, things like is bitcoin dead? Should I invest? Is definitely not a great start for answers, dyor and you would understand the simply fact that bitcoin is not going to die as long theres trades and circulation

This issue has been circulating in this forum over and over again. Once and for all Bitcoin definitely will not die. It maybe experiencing a big fall this year but for sure it will bounce back and many of us will get more profits. You're right bitcoin will not die, unless it's end of the world.

Absolutely. Everytime bitcoin's price fall, people assumed that bitcoin will gonna die. They are just having a feeling FOMO or fear of missing out. It will not surely die. How many times have i heard thay phrase? Thousands of timea already and they are just creating fud to contribute the panicking of investors.

More and more countries, services and corporations accept and use Bitcoin, which makes Bitcoin's needs so good that I think it will last a long time. so much research about bitcoin that considers bitcoin is a problem because of unstable prices. maybe people think bitcoin is a virtual currency that costs in play. but for people who understand bitcoin is a very important block technology for transactions, from one person to another. without a third party. so do not be confused if the bitcoin price is very high. and the price issue because bitcoin has no master and the price can not be established, because the market law is like more buyers than the seller then the price will be higher and vice versa Thank you and feel free to respond, I wanna see your insights about this.
There's no reason to believe it's anywhere close to dying. Almost every year, for the past almost 10 years Bitcoin has come out higher than the year before it. This year might be the only exception and that's because last year was an astronomical year for cryptocurrency in general, and may have been the result of market manipulation. Even if it takes a year or two out, we will still see long term growth.
It is interesting how some people think bitcoin will die. We have all seen how high bitcoin rises when people start thinking that it is dead. Let us all embrace the fact that bitcoin is here to stay.

Those that said bitcoin will die are the ones that don't really understand the concept of blockchain technology, bitcoin will remain forever and soon be accepted by the whole world...
blockchains can grow forever. even if you stop one node. others will pop up and continue growing the blockchain.
BUT the usefulness and function of btc has stalled.
LN is not a BTC saviour. dont scream it can never die. instead scream it can comatose and then dmand th devs actually do something to prevent it stagnating.
again LN is not the saviour.. devs are already planning o letting other coins use LN while keping btc stalled in a effort that people lock up their BTC move it into LN and then not want to ever sttle back to btc due to all th things the devs have done to stall btc onchain innovation
to all those that think just screaming btc is utopia and gonna take over the world. should look back to 2011-2013 where the same was said.. and then the devs started to show their weakness by calling it a beta experiment and btc cant scale.
