Silly me for backing them to win (though I did bet on Napoli).

same here, I was hedging Napoli (that I would like to win the title) with Juventus to win, and draw in the pool, so any outcome gives some good news Smiley

although, I am following more Serie B, where Cagliari is trying to catch that play-off spot, being down below some giants like Ternana and Sudtirol, but three wins from last four matches brought good vibe

Atalanta gave us a whiff of their high-scoring season didn't they? And put down Salernitana quite badly to remind them of their place. No one in the pool got a point from Spezia, and only PL Guru smiled with Milan meltdown (but paid heavily with other upsets).

Old Lady comeback put on hold (and we still haven't heard developments from the December investigations) so I guess we can expect a lot of topsy-turvy moments for them this season. Silly me for backing them to win (though I did bet on Napoli).

Juventus' winning streak gave the impression that they were back in business, but objectively speaking they won difficult victories, mostly with minimal scores, even against outsiders. So yesterday's defeat put everything in its place.
The number of goals conceded, of course, surprised - before that, Juventus conceded 7 goals in 17 games  Grin

By the way, Milan - what kind of losers? Another loss of points and now Napoli are ahead by 9 points! I don't know what has to happen for them to miss out on the championship.
These difficult minimal wins of Juventusgave flashbacks to last decade when they achieved most of their Scudetto's in similar way, without playing fancy football. But personally, I didn't felt that they back on track, I actually expected that they can sack Allegri after fiasco in Champions league.
Didn't watched Milan game, noticed result when they were 2:0 down already.

Yes, I also expected his dismissal, but the management, on the contrary, supported the coach and this gave results. Quite an interesting prospect in the fight for 2-4th place in the next round: Inter have an easy opponent (as like Napoli), and Juventus and Milan are waiting for very difficult games and I'm sure that at least one of the clubs will lose points. Inter thus can return to the top three.

Heck. Di Maria ruined my accurate prediction (2-0). Judging by the game, I'm even unlikely to get 1.5 points, since most likely in the second half we will see a few more goals scored. It is a pity that Juventus played one goal so quickly - if the first half ended with a score of 2-0, then everything would be clear to everyone, but now we are waiting validol in the second half.
After all, nobody will get more than 1 point from this game and there was no validol ending. That Di Maria goal wasn't factor at all. Napoli was simply on fire today and another brilliant performance from Kvaratskhelia. I had Napoli ML with bet boost @2.09, but after their game with Inter I didn't had that much confidence. And especially after looking in recent Juve results, it was very difficult to predict such big outcome. Today they conceded more goals than maybe in last 10 official games combined.

First to all, its any news about tomahawk?

About yesterday game, i didnt expect that masterclass by Napoli, i think the people from Napoli doesnt  feel this power from the time when Maradona destroy Juventus in the 80.

The georgian guy level its incredible.

Juve had only kept one clean sheet in their previous visits to Napoli in the past 25 years, so keeping one tonight (despite their run since October) was never an option imo.
-snip

congrats, good guess

I didn't expected this kind of match, Napoli scored early and played all round much better
didn't know about statistics for Juve in Naples, but obviously it is no coincidecence that they cannot keep clean sheet there

this one could get Napoli to title, huge booster for morale

Juve looked like a random Serie C / Primavera team taking on the big boys lol. That was a statement game for Napoli and their title aspirations. Osimhen and Kvaradona are a joy to watch, currently ranking first and second in Serie A in goals + assists. I sincerely hope they keep their top striker throughout the winter transfer window and make a deep run in the Champions League, that would be special for them and their fans. Also, nothing better than cashing in on Juve's misery  Cheesy

Nice wins mate, congratulations!

I agree that Juventus have got a little significant run for themselves and their defensive record over that stretch is one worthy of acknowledging, but I still believed that they were going to be of no match against Napoli, It was a total demolition and that has probably sent Juventus a couple of steps back towards their reincarnation.

Osimhen is an absolutely fantastic, I really hope Napoli will keep him for a long period, because I think he's going to struggle a lot in any other league if he leaves Napoli too early.

Kvaratskhelia destroyed Juve today, he was doing whatever he wanted on that left flank.

I am mad at myself for not putting some money on Napoli today, they were playing much better football whole season and Juve was actually quite poor in last few games which they won 1:0. But it is Juve and I am always hesitant to bet against them.

PL Guru Saint-loup Hoody Hoo not sure all of your names in forum but you guys haven't put in your picks yet for the night's biggest game. Probably check all your La Liga and EPL too -- all playing tonight.

I know I should just let it be since you're Top 5 and I need to catch up (haha) but you know, I'm nice.

I know Coppa is not Serie A but I hate Inter so much right now.
And that is why I don't bet on cup competitions. I hate the fact that favorite can pass after extra time or penalties. If I lost my ticket because of them, I want them out of competition at least Smiley

looking at next rounds, is this the end for Napoli? just finish 0:1 and point difference is @4 points, with a lot to play, and Juventus in better position regarding morale and experience?
and everything is possible on Friday night in Calcio
I really hope Napoli will have what it takes to win against Juventus. They are playing much better football and I would really like them to top the league. I am thinking of backing Napoli pre match but if it stays 0:0 until minute 80 I am putting more money on Juve win  Grin The pattern has started to emerge.

Before the final game between Bologna and Atalanta, I was at the 4th position, If you've not mentioned me I wouldn't have noticed to be honest, It's really going to probably be a race until the final week.

congrats on top position, it is a real show up there, 3.5 points between first and sixth (I am that sixth)

I know Coppa is not Serie A but I hate Inter so much right now. Amazing yellow caps and amazing contention in this pool, it's strangely the pool I am highest in and the one I know the least amount about.

Or maybe these days nothing is strange.

If you're feeling bad, here is something to cheer you up Smiley

Harko, sitting at the top, not bad. I have to start remembering now who's following who and who's good so I can sidebet on them next season. I'm doing awful across the board. Want to blame my busy schedule but should probably just admit I'm crap.

Day after tomorrow's big game (edit, I thought today was Thursday haha). BTTS for sure? or Juve 1-0 @Trofo?

You never know what happens to a team after they lose a no-lose streak!

Harkorede is currently atop the Serie A pool and given how crowded it is, we may see a new leader every other week, first six places within 3-4 points of each other.

A yellow cap for me, lol...a rare sight, as i haven't had a good round in months. It had the potential to be my best round ever, but Lazio and both Milan teams had to stink it up deep in injury time.  Lips sealed

Napoli vs. Juventus highlights the next round...should be a good one. The best offense vs. the best defense, Juve hasn't conceded a goal in 8 consecutive league matches.  Shocked

I wouldn't be surprised if Juventus manages to win the game, Juventus are also the least scoring team of the top 6 team in the league, so I can't see beyond 1-Nil or 0-0 score line from that fixture.

Yay Atalanta and Verona, 2 much needed close points to keep me... in 14th hahaha

@KTChampions And probably my worst of all (has it been 3 or 4 seasons already Trofo?). I don't even know what I'm doing these days heh.

@casperBGD Should have paid attention to your post earlier, Lazio did indeed do the funny and threw away 2 points. Game was turning out so well for me too.

P.S. Match highlight I saw earlier spelled Ciro's name as Cyrus several times. Never seen that before, and it was Italian sounding commentators too...
