Atalanta Milan is the obvious game for tomorrow but my eyes will not be on Serie A today, far too interesting picks to watch elsewhere in England and Spain.

Sassuolo - Inter should also be a shoo-in if you're in this for BTTS and over 2.5. Agree?

And, anyone watching this thread, don't forget Trofo's predictions challenge. I know I have before!

Atalanta vs Milan would surely a must watch encounter, I've went with Atalanta for some weird reasons, and being the home team.

Sassuolo vs Inter should be a goal fest, BTTS and Over 2.5 should be the safest bet, but I would fancy Inter ML currently @ 1.73 more

Cagliari strikes again!
~snip

yeah, this season seems as that it will be it for Cagliari in Serie A, last season also seemed that way, but they won (bought) few wins in a row, and stay in the competition, could something similar happen this season as well, not so sure

few interesting matches on weekend, not a fan, but will keep one eye on Turin derby, Juventus won over Chelsea is maybe brought them back to life, and Torino is playing really solid this season, up to now, could go in any direction, and goals as well, from goalless draw to several goals (4,5), anything could be expected

Isn't this always the case just when you think you have a match won in the dying seconds of extra time the other team scores to get the draw.
Cagliari strikes again!
They just can't seem to keep the ball out of their own net. Embarrassed
I am just hoping a draw for my team Sassuolo against the big blue machine Inter Milan today.

Wow nice attempt from darbit to come up and steal the yellow cap but as I thought yesterday,,, with the exact score on the final game but Mosala well done as you got there early and kept it by 0.5 points!

I guess a lot of us should have guessed the score of the game on the last night but actually only 2 went for the draw so kudos to you guys.

Next game in 3 days now let us see how Italians go in Champions League Smiley

Mosala and hahay have a great start and they are rewarded with the top 2 spots in the overall leaderboard, well done!

Nice job on your actual money betting morvillz7z Smiley This is actually my 3rd or 4th Superbru pool or something and it is one of my better attempts but look,,, the season is only less than 20% gone!

BTTS is a great market but I usually play it only on games between similar opponents. For instance I would never played it on Milan game, that one had clear home win written all over it. Got all my Serie A games correct except for Cagliari, can't believe they lost and without scoring a goal.

Cagliari again!

Tonight is a sure BTTS I think,,, and my prediction is a simple draw for now.

Taking a tiny bet on a comeback. Inter's well worth it.

Well, Inter didn't complete a full comeback but at least you nailed the exact score, that gotta feel good!

I must say this was one of the better matches of the season so far, with plenty of chances in front of both goalkeepers, some pretty nice goals, and of course late drama.

One thing i don't understand, and i'm not sure i agree with, is why Dimarco took the penalty. I'm not saying it was a poorly taken penalty, but with Dzeko still on the pitch, Sanchez and Perisic also available, why would you choose a defender who came on as a sub to take the penalty? I don't recall Dimarco taking a penalty for Verona last season, odd move by Inzaghi.  Roll Eyes

Ooo yeah! Nice! I don't even remember as I mentioned, what I did. Actual bets haven't gone my way in any league, but nice to try and hang on for a little bit more in Serie A's pool.

Didn't note the penalty decision, but it's been getting weird for coaches now. Sometimes it's a team psychology thing, where the manager must be trying something new in training or making good on a promise or something. Did the regular taker argue?

I think the balance obtained by Inter Milan against Atalanta is a deserved result, especially considering that Atalanta is not a very strong team in Serie A this season, where they play relying on team cohesiveness which makes them very difficult to beat, where Inter was trailing 1- 2 in the first half before managing to equalize in the second half

This has to be one of the worst combined (premier league and serie a) rounds i've had in a long time, forgettable and quite annoying.

Nothing has gone my way all weekend honestly, and i've made some shitty last-minute decisions that didn't pay off...

Despite having one more game tomorrow, i'm already looking forward to the next round.

If not for anything else, i was able to at least land my 6-leg parlay at 14/1 (would've been twice as good if Sassuolo scored one more).

Thread love! Who backed Atalanta? Superbru's down for me so I'm not sure what I did haha (old me would have gone for Atalanta, new me probably Inter win). Martinez being his usual self but all 3 goals in the first half and am just switching over while Liverpool take a half-time break.

you can't expect to have BTTS in any game Serie A, Milan was expected to win, but Venezia is obviously very weak
Cagliari lost against Empoli, really did not expect that to happen, but my pool position shows that I do not follow Calcio as other competitions, and what I expect from Cagliari is not in line with their team and ambitions, last season we successfully avoided relegation in last rounds, but this season seems to be a harder one

Trofo would disagree actually, and in almost all the big leagues now BTTS seems a good one...

Trofo would disagree actually, and in almost all the big leagues now BTTS seems a good one if you make a multi with the high scoring sides and weak defence sides. I think always multi Inter, with Real, with Man United Wink

Hats off to you, leea-1334! You managed to keep your great start and win 18 points.
Thank you! Too bad no prize for yellow cap here but I am happy to climb up the rankings for this strange league (strange for me) Smiley

^ Nyeh, I knew Lazio were going to be a problem there, but Roma also only managed to score one -- quite nice that Tammy Abraham remembered what his gaffer's favourite scoreline was and gave it to him;) He will be sweating on Pellegrini missing matches from his red (second yellow).

There is a good looking special for today's matches with all the heavy hitters Napoli, Lazio & Roma to score over 1.5 goals looks solid:

Probably good for Napoli and Roma but not so sure about Lazio, mind you, I'd love for them to hit a lot too. Not big enough a special for me, as well so I avoided (I know, I'm so arrogant).

Been spending a lot of my freebets willy nilly including those big ones won from promotions on these specials, haven't won anything big since the yellow cap prize from first match day EPL. Need to consider smaller ones like these maybe huh!

I had Spezia yesterday against Juventus while they were up 2-1 it was looking good for a while.
Put Empoli as a draw so should of put Spezia for it instead. Roll Eyes
Goals come out of nothing in this league it seems. Cheesy

Only have about 40 minutes until it closes as I took it when it first became available about an hour ago, so there is still time for those who didn't see it.

I had Empoli to win 2 - 0, which mean I got all 3 points... It's actually surprising to see that it was just 4 players from the pool that went with Empoli, I literally didn't do much in-depth analysis with the pick, I just checked recent form I guess and decided to go with Empoli, Cagliari have become a victim of their last two season's performance, that had a pretty good run for sometime during that season and were at some point tipped to likely feature in Europe irrc, but finished the season way below average, they'll probably just keep battling it out of the relegation zone like they always do.

Yes everyone indeed,,, BTTS is quite good but I took it a step too far last night, as the two late games after Juventus were only one-sided wins, I think,,, it could be that a wiser choice for a very big parlay maybe is over 0.5 goal for all the games but then again it just needs 1 0-0 to take it all down.

Still very happy with where I am even though 4 of us are tied in first place for this week Smiley

This has to be my best performance ever in a starting week anywhere in any league for predictions. 1 exact and 2 close scores, and even,,, if I stuck to 2-1 I would be 2 exacts!
~snip

yeah, last night scores were mostly expected, and results came as expected, so there is many exact scores
I missed Bologna, or to say it better Genoa, since I did not catch any of their results so far

regarding BTTS, yeah, a lot of goals in Serie A last season, not following much, but rarely one can see results 2:0 or 0:1, it is always 2:1, 1:2, 1:3, it would be interesting to see how many matches last year were 3 goals exact, probably the most in all scoring ranges

Both games so far today has ended numerous goals and both ends...

I'm actually surprised by Juventus match against Spezia, I wasn't expecting a tough game for Juventus tbh.. But Spezia took the game to them, I was able to watch the first 15-20 minutes and I can say there was no sense of inferior feeling from the way Spezia played.

Juventus can at least boast of a win after 5 league games  Lips sealed
