Things are getting nasty again on NCR from what I have heard and they might be on a lockdown again if things gets to worst. If this happens we won't be able to reach those people who're stuck on ports. If there's only a private sector that could help us then that could be an easy way to do this activity.

There special flights for OFW and other people who are trap in Metro Manila that lives in the province.
I know someone but the other way around. I have a friend who works in Palawan and was stuck there during the ECQ phase and GCQ phase and he is still there. He is upset because he wasn't with his family during the crucial times that he is needed. It's really sad. I asked him how he was and told me that he is going to back in Metro Manila in July. It was expensive but that was his only choice.

People are not waiting inside the airport/port but outside the perimeter.
I want to check this out, maybe there's something that could be done even in a little way. It could be the next project but it's going to be more challenging.

I have a suggestion on your next activity. I hope that you can help too those who are stranded on the airport and port that want to go back to there province. Some of them has no money to buy ticket since they are deported from abroad and no money left due to this pandemic.
This is an interesting thing but it would be hard to get access to the airport area especially there are precautions and security around it. If it's going to be money it can be sent or something. Are airports operating as usual already during this pandemic?

There special flights for OFW and other people who are trap in Metro Manila that lives in the province. People are not waiting inside the airport/port but outside the perimeter. In recent news, they are now sheltering in the memorial park near NAIA. I'm just a bit concerned with them since some of them are trapped since the start of ECQ and until now. Imagine how they miss there love ones and also there financial capacity for there personal needs.

Government are assisting them but I know that you know how some of our government works in times of calamities.

Next week, I will start again my trading and I will allocate 10% of my monthly profit in this charity. I'm very sorry for being late in noticing this charity thread since I rarely browse on Services section here. I hope that there's a local version of this thread in every country to spread world about charity.
This 10% could go a long way in for the charity. It's going to be a great help especially for those who need it. I think there are different translations for different local boards, I'm not sure how many though.

All activities succeeded so far. Thanks again to all, for the Donations, for the efforts and for supporting this thread.
I do hope it will continue for a long time. Thanks Once Again.

Nice work, thank YOU!

I wish we could keep doing this until no more help is needed.
Unfortunately, this is most likely a fantasy, but we should never give up to belief that if it is not.

Thank you for your action on site!!!

First of all, I would like to thank all the donators for this, or this wouldn't be even remotely possible to do. We have helped over 300 families with goodies and packed lunch. We have contacted a lot of people to know and ask where to provide the goods and those families who have received very little during these hard times. People who are in dire need of this small help. We had an exhausting day but it was well worth it.

Lessons learned during the event.
  • We had to have multiple refills (going back home to get restocked) of goods and packed lunch because we have only one vehicle for the entire time
  • It was difficult to document everything if you are only a few
  • No matter how small or big the help is, it's going to be appreciated
  • We didn't expect that the best recognition was about the facemasks because almost everyone was surprised that it has and it's definitely the new normal for everyone
  • People who have received wants to where it came from and we have shared it that it's from the Bitcointalk Charity
  • You will learn to appreciate what you have in life already and do not take things for granted

The Activity was on June 13, 2020.

Goods that have been distributed
  • Rice
  • Canned Sardines
  • Noodles
  • Facemasks
  • Packed Lunch (Cured Beef with Egg and rice)

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.
So this were all the efforts we made for the distribution of the relief goods in the eastern part of Samar island where the previous typhoon (Vongfong) landed. Goods were distributed to 201 families in the two sitio/village of Dolores with the help of my org and the group of students/people who organized the location and choose the one whos in need it the most. It's almost 8 hours of travel back and forth since the truck is full load and it barely runs 30km/hr.
That's why I didn't get a lot of images on the second destination since its already late and we rushed giving all the goods to the community, also for us to be able to go home early.  It also raining while we're going there, good thing it stops. At least we got home at 9 in the evening.

What a tiring day, yet that day has shown full of experience and always gave me extreme joy whenever I see those big smiles from those people/families/children who received the goods. They might be not big enough to sustain their food for their daily needs but I'm sure it's somewhat a big help to them.

And I'm very thankful to those who share, care, and donated their very own satoshis to make this project completely happened.

Goods:
5 kg of rice
2 sardines
3 noodles (beef/chicken)
2 twin pack coffee
3 pack of birch tree milk
2 soap

**Addition a box of used clothes donated from the people I knew

**Those villages and the entire province is free of COVID-19 but as the government mandatory rule, a face mask and social distancing are required.

**Btw this activity was on Jun. 7, I just posted it here due to not feeling well for past few days.

Seriously, my heart really touched as I looked at the pictures. I feel like I am with you and my assistant as we reach out for donations. I was even able to cry because I knew how to help and of course help others without asking for a replacement. I know what you did wasn't a joke and what you did was wonderful. You do not waste what has been given to your great responsibilities and trust. Live and be blessed.

This is how powerful crypto is Cheesy. Kind of exaggerating for some I guess but I'm just grateful that these kind of charity program has been launched with the help of the users here and the forum.

A job well done and as they say. It is better to receive than to give.. Or the other way around Cheesy JK. My Thanks isn't enough for this but we know how it feels to help other people in times like this. Smiley. MBTC

It makes me incredibly happy to see how you use our donations from the community to provide the necessary things to the destitute!
Like I said, I can't thank you enough!

YOU are the 'executive power'! And without people who take action this would not be possible...

May God protect you and your countrymen

This Day, June 11, 2020... it really is a tiring day but today, we have just finished distributing all the goods, especially the one that are meant for the children which is the vitamins and alcohols. I added 2 gallons of Alcohol for each Orphanage. It is currently raining and that gives us a hard time searching for families that are considered as Poorest of the Poor.

In this day and on this event I learned that there are really some families that haven't gotten any help from our government last time due to their place are too far from the main community. There are still many families out there, I just wished I could have given them all. So i really can't say mission has been accomplished.

Below are the Pictures taken during the event, though there are some that didn't have picture for certain reasons (some didn't want to and some are just to quick on getting reliefs). (Note: Some Houses have 2-3 families so we did consider giving them about 2 reliefs, though it's really hard to say to them that we're giving it per families then knowing that some of them lives with 2 -3 families among them)

Note: Vitamins has been consulted first before buying and distributing.
