This is a wonderful campaign and a cause to fully root for. People are suffering to a large extent these days when it comes lack of funds, job security and so on. I hope this campaign can provide to the needful and I have done my part by putting up the campaign's signature to help.

I have a very close friend who started their mission to help those in my village who has no capacity to feed themselves. Let me breakdown to you what they have done and what they are still planning to do.
They have prepared this per household.
Anyways, it's a long shot and I'm still in contact with him. Maybe this could be a way to help.
Been thinking the same, but I also think that this is a duty for the government.They have prepared this per household.
- 4Kg of Rice
- 2 Instant Noodles
- 4 cans of Sardines
- 1 can of Meatloaf
- 1 can of Tuna

Universal basic income is a form of taxation system last time I read it being discussed, government costs money its not the pay but tax alteration that matters most to this idea. Increasing efficiency across a population could be a massive positive. The reason its relevant between tax and welfare and the benefit it brings is to remove the division or any discouragement to produce from those on low or no work. People on any welfare system do continue to pay taxes like many in society, the highest % of taxes can be levied on those with the least income and its quite ironic that the lowest burden is on the richest.
I dont have any problem with very prosperous people, every country requires success but the benefit this system might provide is to flatten the apparent tax gap so that all have a basic livable situation and will pay taxes on any extra income. Welfare is a bit of a swearword because of how it can create an under class who are worse off if they attempt any change in circumstances, theres surely better explanations but I just wanted to mention there is certainly a possibility of some merit to the system and like you say its not a new idea.

I heard some people find it difficult to eat in Italy and their government does nothing about it.
Even if we want to help other people in our community this is not easy because we are limited in our actions. It cannot simply come out because of the existing policy. All we can do right now is raise funds that we can donate in addition to the government, NGOs or other charities so that they can reach out to those in need. cabalism13&crwth , unfortunately the situation is the same in most countries of the world, so if there is no other way to do some charity action, all we have to do is wait for better days.

It quite saddens me that I didn't get to plan something for my special day because of the lockdown going on. It's quite hard to do anything right now. The best thing right now is listed below
Roaming around the district is okay, but it's hard to go out of the city to help other citizens here in need. I can't think of anything else.

- Find a supplier for PPE's that would go to the frontliners

I think the best way to use the funds you get is to help orphans who live in orphanages near you.
+1 I support this idea. Wherever in the world, children are the most innocent and vulnerable creatures.

I know that every country is suffering from this crisis, and most of the people now has gone panicking across our countries. I may simply understand that not everyone are willing but I want to ask for help, not money. But I encourage you to do what you must in your country.
Lets us help everyone. Let Hope that this will end as soon as possible. Markets are being affected as well as the production of alcohols, masks and other stuff that we need during this times. So everyone, be careful. I wish you have a healthy body so that you won't get affected.
Currently we are having a strict Lockdown here in NCR, LUZON... So it is merely impossible to go out now. If anything I would like to help but this is all I can do for now. And I sincerely Apologize.

I don't know how much per month in donations you're getting but I would direct all the money on a single orphanage at first, because the kids will appreciate your help more exponentially for each consistent donation you make. That affects their psychology and emotions and will make them feel better. And I don't just mean flat-out sending the money to the orphanage in question, see if there is any other programmes they are running that you can participate in yourself, like services you can provide for these orphans, necessary and comfortable things that these kids would appreciate, and so on. Many of them live by themselves without anybody who's very caring of them.
Folding@Home has a lot of people donating their computing power to COVID-19 research already https://foldingathome.org, so I wouldn't prioritize that right now.

Easter Season are coming close but event aren't disclosed yet, if you have something in mind please let me know.
No matter what children were in focus last year, they are always an option, as are the homeless. What about those who may need medical help but can't afford it, do people in your country have free health insurance?
I asked about medical care in your country, but you never comment that - is there any need to help people who need medical help and can't afford it? In this regard, and given COVID-19, we could maybe focus on buying things such as protective masks, hand sanitizers, and anything else that could help prevent infection?
Of course that all other suggestions are welcome, this is just my thinking with regard to the current situation.
Sorry mate, I didn't notice that.
In regards of medical needs such as Masks and Alcohol it might be impossible even if we have the money. We are currently having a Lockdown in the whole NCR, Philippines... in which some of the facilities who are making alcohol are there. And we can't possibly go inside that place until April 14.
Also we can't buy anything now, Masks and alcohol are being out of stock whenever we go. People here are panicking and some of them are abusive and bought all of the things just to give them higher profit during the crisis.
As of now, we can't go outside and just being locked out to prevent being infected. So nothing I can do as of now. Even though I'm a bit worried to the children at some orphanages. I really hope they have some medical supply to last for a month.
As for the health insurance, no, there isn't like that in our country... what i mean is nothing is free.
But I can still think of helping our countrymen and the childdren but the thing is the lack of supplies.
